I love how every movement was so precise. Vampires that can move incredibly fast, yet every footstep, hand gesture, nod of the head was deliberately made. Slow, like a snake ready to pounce but holding back before doing so. This was what made this movie brilliant in my mind. One of the best!!

beautiful Jesse as a vampire. it is interesting the distinction that David makes between human Jesse (he's protective) and vampire Jesse (he's scared). it shows greatly in my point of view, the air that a vampire emanates, the sense of danger.
No it does not show that Jesse is scared not at all Jesse polled it off in Queen Of The Damned movie Jesse as a Vampire and Human she is an Amazing Actress
I think David’s response is understandable. No matter how much he cared about Jesse, he realizes she is an unpredictable creature now. Different. No longer the ordinary human person he knew.
@@sherinerobers7525 I didn't say that Jesse is scared. I said that David is scared OF Jesse as a vampire, while he is protective of her when she is a human....
This scene shows that the vampires give off some strange feelings to humans. It's like when you have a paranormal experiences. You know they are not human. You can sense their power. The concept is really frigging cool! 😃 I love vampires!!
If you have ever been in the presence of a large predator or been stalked by one, this is that feeling. It’s a preternatural sense of dread, unease, subdued panic, a kind of electric thickness in the air and a crawling on the skin as the hairs raise up. Being in the presence of a predator and feeling like prey. I know the feeling.
Poor Jesse. You see her face when she tries to hug David, she realized he was scared of her. She turned the hurt into a smile. She knew if she stayed, she'd either turn him or kill him. Having that knowledge about someone you care for..... it has to suck lol vampire pub lol
I love the part where Jesse wants to give David a goodbye hug, he recoils in fear, she appears hurt, then gives him a nod of understanding. That's where her humanity (and friendship for him) still shines through despite her now being a vampire. Very well acted in a subtle manner. Even though this flick is by no means a great movie, it still has its moments of brilliance. Stuart Townsend is also a very convincing Lestat.
Despite having received an unfortunate and unnecessary amount of hatred for her portrayal of Jesse Reeves, Marguerite Mareau gave a stellar performance and conveyed the feeling of someone whose so heavily entrenched in grief and loss to the point that they find a source of solace in the esoteric and spiritual as this area was where she truly felt accompanied and a tremendous kinship that she never had with others. Most especially, having grown up as an orphan, the mere thought of having an eternal sense of kinship and community with beings who can never die by natural means is very understandable. Given her personality and complexity, you can see that her motivation truly stems from a place of longing for a semblance of eternal companionship and community that she unfortunately never had with her mortal family. Being a vampire is her only sense of belonging in the world and it gives her something to live for. and something to aspire to. In a way, I think that this was why Lestat's passages in his journal where he shared how lonely he was because of his condition resonated with her deeply. It is impeccably well-performed despite harsh criticism.
Man, I don't know why.. But this scene is so powerful to me.. It portrays what it's like to be dead. And u could just feel how nervous David felt around her.

@@EmmanuelHerrera Now that I think about it was Magnus who turned Lestat but in the movie it was Marius they really like to switch the characters around don't they? In the comics Magnus built a pile because he was going to kill himself Lestat dried blood tears begging Magnus to stay with him.

So when Marius turned Lestat he thought Lestat would love him but it didn't work out? I'll have to go back and reread Queen of the Damned and The Vampire Lestat again.
+Tiffany Days first of all, in the books, Marius doesn't turn Lestatat, Lestat is a cretion of Magnus, and David is not turned a vampire until the end of The Tale of the Body Thief when David gets the stolen young body of the thief. And Lestat turns David just becouse he can and becouse he "loves" him. Ooh and there is not romantic relationshipt between Jessi and Lestat at all, David has a better chance hahaha.

That's why I said that I need to go back and reread the books. It's been a long time since I read them.
I don't care I like the change lestat and Jesse together I love it I don't care about the book being different than the movie
@@EmmanuelHerrera Now that I think about it was Magnus who turned Lestat but in the movie it was Marius they really like to switch the characters around don't they? In the comics Magnus built a pile because he was going to kill himself Lestat dried blood tears begging Magnus to stay with him.
Yu WAT- Finally,i find that they'r now a vampire
In Anne Rice's THE TALE OF THE BODY THIEF (1992), David Talbot has a forced body switch and is eventually turned into a vampire by none other than Lestat.
and what happen with jesse after this?
David helped Jesse to get to Lestat. Lestat knows this.
In the movie did khayman knew that Jesse was his direct descendants?
It's Doctor Who's Paul McGann!
Oh and it's also a great clip from a good movie.
He would not have saved her if he did not love her
And then Marius walks in and bites his neck!
"HELLO, DAVID" >:)
Bro if Jesse ever offered me to become one of them, I’d be like “hell yeah I wanna live forever and fly because I really don’t want to be human having to walk, deal with life lol😂
immortal love :3
Twilight has wimpy vampires trying to be like people in this movie the vampires are proud to be vampires and actually drink blood. While still being the Casanova vampires we all love and being modern without being wimpy. Scary but not terrifying like 30days of night or pathetic like twilight just right. I didn't know their was a book series I think i'll read the books for this movie NOT TWILIGHT.
I hate Twilight and Twilight are not Vampire they sparkle I call them fairy Real Vampires Don't Sparkle!
" in this movie the vampires are proud to be vampires and actually drink blood. " Yes, the good old days. :)
Nice jesse you left that man who chose live forever and you did not kill him
What kills me is Stuart Townsend was such a perfect lestat in a hodgepodge movie, and they wasted Allah as well
Looking at this scene.
If the other guy didn't take on the role of morbius the living vampire, I wouldn't have minded stuart townsend for the role.
They both have Akashas blood anyone think of that?
vampire jeesi
Was this before or after she played Charlie McGee in Firestarter: Rekindled?
This movie made 45 million. The studio could have given us a lestat/Jesse followup film.
In the book jesse resembles her ancestor in the movie does she resembles her ancestor?
Relo meninas sou canadense gue morava no brasil fui prara o canada para conheser o jesse eu consegui velo com o itam eles sao lindos
The 8th Doctor vs. the Vampires
The Vampires everytime
or the good doctor vs vampires...haha working in a blood bank has its advantages.
Does this move have a part 2
Why do people who becomes vampires in movies suddenly became freaking weirdos. You're personality doesn't suddenly change. I always hated that shit.
Jesse's Mom
anyone have the full version of the song at the start? ive searched the instrumental soundtrack and have not found the music or the title.
the start of the video, or of the movie?
and Maharet had a twin sister, Mekare!
Yeah, Mekare ended up killing Akasha in the books. They're equal in strength since they're both ancients.
great aunt Mekare? ha
Will they reboot the series?
