- How to completely drain a fuel tank on a fuel injected motorcycle using household items. I used a sippy cup nipple, some plastic tube and a bicycle pump. Works much better than a typical store bought siphon pump due to positive pressure vs siphon vacuum...and it was free!
Great idea ...but you should show how you do this from start to finish to clarify a few things.

What you did doesn't make sense. How does pumping air into the tank increase the pressure if there are other holes in the top of the tank?
The volume is way too low.
How big is the line going into the juice bottle 1/8"?
It doesn't matter, as long as it's air-tight at the fuel tank opening, and reaches as far into the fuel tank as you need it to.
A better question would be, "If you're going to put a tube into the tank from the filler-opening, why go through all of the pump bullshit when you can just siphon the fuel?"
