You guys, if you're going to carry around a clear hose..then you might as well have been carrying around a super siphon. In an "emergency", if you have a clear hose...a super siphon is way better. BUY ONE! Whoever said super siphon, thank you, I'm gonna get one. Looks great for so many applications!
Yeah, well in the midde of a hurricane when all stores and roads, for that matter, are closed...you have to use what you have available. Your comment takes it for granted that everyone has access to a store that sells that device. Thanks Jenniesgarage, this video is extremely helpful.
This works well with a motorcycle tank but don't think it will fit down inside your cars/trucks unleaded fuel spout. I shall stand corrected if I'm wrong. The super siphon especially they say.
Baconator the only problem is it takes longer and some bikes have a vacuum valve so if the bikes not running the fuel won't flow. But in a pinch you could suck on the vacuum valve to get it to flow but that's tiring. I've had to do it in the field to help a buddy.
Quick question, kinda stupid tho. Do you clean the hose with anything after you're done? Run anything through it? I'm asking only b/c I just emptied the gas out of my snow blower & I let it drain out but I'm a little tight on space I can't really leave it in my garage for obvious reasons & there's an old bat upstairs, (I split a house apt w/ 2 other families/ngbrs) who freaks out if I leave it outside & she smells it. I have another blower to empty as well & just trying to save the headache. Thx
Wait, i've never siphoned gas before, but when i fill up at the gas station i inhale some strong fumes. I can stand them, but i feel like this may be over the top? Or do you not get the fumes somehow
If I wanted to siphon off the gas, move the motorcycle into an indoor location, then take it back outside after a few hours and put the gas back in the tank, would that motorcycle have any issues starting back up? Lets assume its fuel injected. Any thoughts?
Actually the correct way to do this is to go to an autoparts store and buy a siphon. They're cheap, small, easy to store (even on a bike), and reduce your risk of getting a mouthful of gasoline to zero.
Hello friends, I have a tank to siphon because there's water in it (long story...). I'm gonna try this but since water is heavier than gas, it's gonna be at the bottom of the tank. How do I know/make sure that my tube is gonna be as low as possible in the tank? I want to siphon the lowest part, not the the gas on the surface. Thanks! Oh it's a kawasaki er6n, 2006.
Those Super Syphon/Jiggle Syphon have a sticker saying "Do not use with flammable petrol" or something... only for diesel, oil, water, beer and Tiger Blood.
Stupidity? If you're in a situation where you can't get to a store to buy a $6 super siphon, then ignorance would amaze you every time. You have to use the tools available to you.
Beleive it or not, I made it without drinking gas because of this video ! Thank you ! Little details but makes the difference.
Any day that you don't drink gasoline is a good day.
Thank you I’m gonna go steal my neighbors gas now
😊😊😊
Awesome way to break it down to steps that's for sharing
Excellent tip kiddo, just about to drain my tank for removal. Great stuff.
First time siphoning and i got a big mouthful of gas but this helped a lot thanks!
Or blow into the tanks hole and the pressure will force the fuel out of the line
Awesome way to break it down to steps thanks for sharing
Thanks! very well demonstrated.
Thanks, you make it look very simple! I'll give it a try.

I had to use a garden hose -got a mouth full of gas, but it worked. Thanks.
Great instructions thanks!

I lift the gas can and put the hose in it after the loop is filled, then lower the can and hose, less chance of spillage.
THANKS! Finally I understand the siphon process; like a toilet stops smells....
No it doesn't...:). :). :)
Modern bikes have put a stop to this by having an anti syphon baffle in the filler neck but still a gr8 tip.
awesome tips bro, i got real tired of drinking petrol. thanks :)
safe way is with either the bulb pump or the tubes with the shaker check ball at the end.

So Simple but so Amazing! THanks

Great video! ⛽️ 🏍️
Thanks!
Thank you, I accidentally got water mixed in with my gas because rain leaked into it, and now I have to siphon it
Is it bad to mix old gas with new gas? My bike was made in 2018 and it's 2020
I always attach a hose to the petcock and just let it drain. That way I don't have to stand around and babysit it.
Well done mate .. 👌

Nope. It would just stake a few more cranks than normal.
thanks bro I am from India 🤗
Only watch because he washes parts with gas as I always have.
Nice job
How do I properly discard the Stale gas?’
Thank you!!!!!

*you mean MY motorcycle*
Thanks for the tip!
Well I may need a longer hose 🤣 just had a mouthful of gas 😂😂
genius.
HOW MUCH FOR THAT BIKE?
Don't smoke after doing this.
I've tried this and it does work, but I still got a mouthful of gas vapors
will this empty the entire tank?
Yes it will
or, just close the petcock, remove the line, ad extension, re open petcock into gascan
Fluid mechanics!
If you blow the fuel tank whilst covering the filling hole you won't need to siphon it. You're welcome.
Or you could order a $8 ball siphon off amazon.

how about just draining some out of the valve until gas comes out?
i just tried that with my fish tank ,you don't want to know what happened
Nice

Or, just pull the fuel line from the carb....

On the next time you will suck gasoline anyway) So you must use disposable tube in this case)))
