It was so dark playing as the Russians you have no idea. You just just popped up and disapeared like ghosts. I had my flashlight on y'all a few times in this video and it was still too dark, I couldn't see you at all.

Imagine this as a Squad gamemode. It's less in-depth than with these mods, but it's got better physics and a bearable stamina system. And I doubt they'd make lights that are client-side lmao
I think Drewski made a tactical mistake using the hand held detinator. Would have been a better idea to utilise the timed explosive. Set the first one for an hour along with a stop watch, then set the next one for the remaining time. So on and so fourth.
Also, drew had responsibility for drone and explo. If another person had drone control when they were planting explo they would have seen the first contact on tower coming.
Amazing. I actually felt like years ago patrolling at night :D the silent brightness of a distant flare! An approaching vehicle and the whole section goes down in the ditch beside the road... and of course falling asleep while marching :D
It's sad there aren't many games with realistic night vision, it really adds to the immersion. I really like your videos on NODS you should make more of them ; -)
@@deepalperera4592 , I never said you can’t like them, but they’re not realistic: they are focused at all distances; the FOVs are wrong; you can use scopes; etc.
@@jbed6It should, you can also tweak their ai stats to make them a little more blind, but they'll still shoot in your general direction if you start shooting. They take a bit of time to actually spot you.

@OperatorDrewski This mission is the type of experience that so many people want from this game, but sadly very few find the community and friends willing to go through the process to set up these kinds of situations. These simulations are why I bought the game a few years back, as your videos are the best at displaying what arma can be with a little work. But without a solid group of people willing to go through these steps with you, you are stuck with KOTH, Life, and the campaigns. Referring to a video you posted awhile back where you said "it feels like I'm falsely advertising arma 3", I agree that it comes across that way to viewers, but if more of us got together with your mindset to create and participate in these missions, then we could change the way the majority play the game. TLDR: Man I know I'm not the only one who wants to play missions like this, is there a way to become part of this group of participants? I'm not asking to be in your video, or make it in the same game/server even (would love to), but I want to be part of the like minded group that gets excited to make the game different and more fun to play. Love the videos man, long time viewer with much respect for what you are doing! Please keep videos like this coming our way!
Go into the Arma discord server and there is a channel for groups like this called "units" where you can get large groups of people ususally doing PvE missions. Alternately, I could send you a discord invite for a group I am part of if you want.
I've never seen "Arma 3" and "Stealth" together before, gotta say it's a lotta fun to know how to be stealthy in Arma, compared to the ussual "Haha let's Bomb and shoot at everything" mindset

i know it would be so hard to put together but some kind of 1 man stealth mission metal gear solid style would be incredible to see in this game. I'm not too familiar with the mechanics of arma 3 but infiltrating from a dive, starting with just a silenced pistol and manoeuvring human player patrols would be epic to watch and incredibly challenging, throw in a uniform change to blend with the guards, a hostage rescue and some sabotage and it would be like a movie!
