Of course, you can set cannons to auto-fire. In build mode, go to Module mode, and you will see an icon above every gun that says "manual." You can click on it to change it to "auto." If you then enter a battle, you need to select a target for your battleship with 'X,' and the gun will fire automatically.

if you have problems with buoyancy you can cheat a bit by using ballast tanks that helps with floatability
This is a fun game. I haven't played it in years but I enjoyed making 2.2KM battleships and being ridiculous.

For the buoyancy problem you can add freeform blocks hidden inside the ship

You should build an Arsenal ship with 500 VLS cells
Hmmm... wonder if we'll see someone else make improvements on the design of your floating city. Also how about a ship that is very large, but also super long and as fast as is possible? Can you make hydrofoil ships? I wanna see the fastest speed possible on a larger ship, armed to the gills with missiles and taking on the slowest (due to size) ship possible.
You can lock the target with the letter X, so that it auto-tracks with the camera.
Next you should replace the 20in guns with missile banks

I know it's just my opinion, but, the old "arm-launchers" and Phalanx CIWS appear to be extremely overmodeled. I don't believe that combo would be able to defend against 64 rapid-fired Tomahawks like that in a real world scenario. I'd think it would defend against perhaps half, at best, before being overwhelmed.

What about a ship that either rotates to utilize all turrets or has an outer ring that "orbits" turrets?
It might help to use an autoclicker when firing missiles and then just drag with the mouse

Can you load a bunch of 155mm arty from land equipment, and unload a barrage from a Battery or two, or is land equipment not available?
