First thing, awesome dry van trailer. I'm also a 20+ year long haul driver. (Retired) fyi the Star shaped pieces are referred to as spider rims. Steel rims would be a solid color with 2 or 4 holes and aluminum rims with multiple holes called Bud rims and there are rims that have 1 giant "racing" slick called "super singles". If you ever need help on on what a part is from an experienced truck driver let me know and I'll be glad to help. Keep up the good work and have loads of fun. Be safe. 😎
As a teenager in the mid 70's I got this exact kit to pull behind a couple cab over kits I had done. I was Really disappointed when opening the box, found the sides and front panel were warped beyond repair! Thinking back, Now I have a plan to flatten them out. I just have to find that kit. It's still here!...somewhere.
Fantastic build, You have made my next trailer project so easy, thank you for that Chris. (I have gotten so much from your videos, thank you again for that!)
I'll be DOHRNed, nice trailer build - I followed right along. Looks like the shelves at the ACME Paint Store are empty now - that is a BIG kit. I like your "new" Decal Sock (I've ordered one). BTW, it looks like you might have over inflated one of the inside tires, just sayin. Thanks for laughing (my ego at work)...
Love building the Big Rigs and the trailers are always FUN to build!!👍🙂

Does anyone know if this replicate a 40', 48' or 53' trailer?
What are we when do you go to get some new brand new model kits
