That toast sounded most mouth watering. That jam won't've long lol. Nothing quite like homemade. Hope this finds you well. Take care🤗

My Aunt put goose berries in her strawberry jam to make it set .My favourite was Elderberry and apple jam.I was impressed by the generousity of the boaters you helped.😊

Great video, love that youv'e got into jam making. Intersting fact; Silver Spoon sugar is made from sugar beet farmed in Britain! Grown, processed and packaged here 👍

Jo, you need to get yourself a jam funnel. It makes it so easier to put in jars.

Hi Joe, just a tip when you have filled the jars with jam screw the lid on and turn it up side down for two min. The jar is then completly sealed. All the best Steve from Germany

Hi Joe, you're gonna have to get yourself one of those jam funnel things to fill up your jars with I think it might be easier. Love to Danni.

A set of tools`is a must for any boater, a trip to Halfords was a high on my list of things to do when i bought my boat, go me out of trouble more than once. That jam looked very nice, since you like to bake a nice big tin of jam tarts would be lush. All the best Joe. Pete

To sterilise my jars I put them in the the oven for five minutes or so before potting up my jam, and I pot up whilst the jam is still really hot. There’s less risk that they’ll shatter compared to filling them with boiling water. Of course the lids still need scalding with water as they can’t go in the oven. A jam funnel is so helpful too. One of those things that isn’t too expensive to buy and lasts a lifetime.

Check the manufacturer country on Beer 52 cans. I used to subscribe to them and most said they were Norwegian, Spanish, American etc but they were actually made in the UK.

Funnily enough, the hammer was the perfect 'fix' for the starter motor. When turning the ignition, give the starter motor a tap and it should work.
Obviously you then know it needs fixing properly.

Any fruit with stones is ideal to make jam cherry's damsons plums apricots they have natural pectin in them the downside is you have to remove the stones before you jar it up for obvious reasons lol

It's ok as long as that's not all they eat. When they are young and growing they need grass, roots and shoots and bugs to get the right nutrients or they end up with Angel Wing.

Peas are a favourite for most aquatic birds, never a waste for frozen peas accidentally left out when filling the freezer lol, I know they can be frozen again but better to use half a bag and donate the rest to ducks geese swans and coots and moorhens
