I was about to delete Bannerlord after being stuck trying to keep enough troops to not get captured after every lost battle. I started watching your videos and now my army is almost 200 hundred tier 5 units. Tactics for the win!
Absolutely my favorite kind of comment to read, thanks mate, hope it continues to help! Be SURE to check out the intermediate tactics series if you haven't already. It will make you a BEAST on the battlefield.
I subbed a couple of weeks ago now but been pretty quiet. Massive fan of the game but also big fan of your channel you're smashing the content and honestly say knowone could do better then you can, will all ways be sub all time you create this content keep up the great work mate
I greatly appreciate that and the continue encouragement. I've only been doing this for about six months, so I'm still feeling my way around here at times.
Well, ya smashing it, you play like I do. I'm a big fan of the old day fighting scenario, kinda thing. I've watched a lot of utube creator's, on this content, but you blow them out the water, by a mile bro I support you all the way
Thank you for all these tutorials they have seriously upped my game. I’ve also been able to start teaching my buddy who recently got the game on console.
A very kind thing to say but that's also the goal of this blitz of content. The game is DEEP beneath the flaws and occasional bug, and there's almost always stuff to learn, even for experienced players like me.
Happy to help and enrich your experience brother! It says a lot that someone who has already dominated the game is coming here for help - I must be serving up some good stuff! :)
You got it friend, I'm someone who naturally enjoys teaching(war and history) so this is fun for me! I'm glad(and honored) it helps! Hope you come by again.
Request: can you cover the dry topic of captain skill choices or respec-ing skills and the impact of various combinations you personally prefer/use on their assigned troops. What skills make a good shock troop captain, range captain, etc etc... Puweeeze! 😂❤
@HeadlessHorsemanProductions sorry buddy... Insights and personal choices would be every bit as helpful without having you get lost in the weeds of the minutiae. For example: Do some skills stack with others? The descriptions suggest they may, but others refer to the skills weapon specifically. With your work with the companions, I wondered if you had worked out a min max process.
13:07 to speed up the process I just put 2 trebuchets in reserve and then bring the 2 back right before the 3rd gets built… all you need is 2 Trebuchets to knock them all out.. as the walls are going to down I switch them all to onagers.. as we attack I hold back all infantry.. let the archers and onagers clean up and then blitz with the infantry after the archers are off the walls.. of course I have 100 Fian Champions so I’m not sure how that last part would work with “Human Archers” because we all know Fians are demigods.
Certainly something too that I have been doing is adding those onagers to blow huge amounts of defenders to hell. You can also just use siege ladders with onagers, send weak troops with the first wave and then keep your vanguard for the later stages... I appreciate the concepts though, keep 'em coming!
@@HeadlessHorsemanProductionsI just need to know how to deal with calvary I get overwhelmed always and its to difficult considering the enemy has like 400 calvary and I usually have 100 calvary

Твои видео очень полезны. Печально, что из-за слабых навыков английского языка я не могу хорошо понять о чëм идет речь (автоматический переводчик на ютуб работает плохо). Также проблема игры в том, что не хватает времени на раздачу приказов во время битвы

Is there a way for the player to counter siege the attacker's trebuchets/towers before the fighting actually starts? Or is that something that only the AI can do? Referring to 12:40
I try to get better in sieges so I do save some battles that I never would have done before I watched your channel and try those outside of my campaign.. For example, I tried a siege against an army with1200 high level Khuazit in a city, as I look over the wall they all smile and thousends of arrows rain on my troops, so for me it was not easy to build an outpost and get in. My sixth attempt was successful and it helps when you know the towns and castles better and better. But my problem is sometimes, I have an army with about 250 infantery, 200 archers and 150 cavalry and I get 50 archers at the start or when I defend against 2700 men, or the worst was 3 archers when I wanted take over a castle. Is their an option to solve that problem a little bit`?
Awesome to hear! Yes, your answer to a more 'mixed' army in any battle is to use the 'homogenized unit prioritization' in the menu options. This will give you a better mix, although sometimes they will be lower level. Happy crushing it bud!
@@BigBirdMMA This I concur with too. I think it's fairly balanced too as anyone who has sieged a citadel well defended and in which a highly skilled engineer opposes your forces knows that the defenders siege will be VERY hard to get rid of and the walls VERY hard to break down.
@@HeadlessHorsemanProductions yeah and there’s the balance of if you want the fief for yourself you can’t completely devastate the walls and starve the city as it takes months to rebuild it to its former state if you do so making it harder to defend and earning less money, so if the wall is above level 1 you gotta be super careful just to destroy siege engines and that’s hard enough with trebuchet aim
I just noticed that whenever I win a siege, a part of my troops (highest tier troops) are taken from my army and set as garrison. I don't want to install mods, but is there a way around this stupid mechanic where I lose my best units as garrisons for my allies? I don't have a kingdom yet, so I can't take my units back from the garrison.
I don't recommend having a large army of units under companions UNTIL you're ready or close to ready to make your own Kingdom, precisely because of the behavior you're talking about. I don't know how to stop them, except avoiding cities and castles with them until you're your on Kingdom...
@@HeadlessHorsemanProductions Thanks for replying. I guess I'll have to make sure My main party has the best troops and give the other party leaders the less important troops until I decide to go the kingdom route. Almost got to 10 mil gold, Sturgia is almost eliminated and I still have a few more levels to unlock the last Charm perk for 5 daily influence. After I get these, I'll prepare for creating a kingdom.
@@HeadlessHorsemanProductions thanks for the feedback. I have doubts on whether to use rbm since it makes the game already harder (im already struggling with regular difficulty) but i am curious on the ai modules especially tactics wise.
