Try a mild retinol first and use it every 2-3 days until your skin adjusts, aiming for every day use. Once your skin is okay with that you can up the strength of your retinol. It can be harsh at first, but once your skin adjusts it's magic. Also be sure to use a good moisturizer since it can be very drying.

Korean viewers love Dr. Rajani 🤩 He is the bomb for sharing these practical applicable information in great depth! Thank you. Another thing that is very popular in Korea nowadays ... when we golf (or hike, or do outdoor activities, whatever) -- there is a "sticker" type of UV mask "piece" that we place close to the Canthus / Orbital areas in particular. It seems to help alot. it is moisturizing but also just flat out blocks the UV and we don't worry about reapplication, etc. Looks silly but trust me.... noone who has lizard-like skin can dare point fingers at the preventative-geeks.

I'm a 40-year old Korean-American. People think I'm either in my 20s or in early 30s. I get complimented on my skin. Here's what I do: minimize sugar and processed-food intake, eat diet consisting of plenty of fiber-rich vegetables and healthy proteins, such as fatty fish and tofu, exercise regularly, sleep at least 7 hours each night, hydrate every morning and night, use vitamin C serum and retinol every night, religiously apply and reapply sunscreen, especially before going outside. I sometimes use Korean skincare products, but where I personally think Korean skincare shines is how they incorporate SPFs into just about everything - such as their BB creams and compact powder makeups. Since, as a hospital worker, I'm discouraged from wearing heavy makeups, I simply just wear this Korean sunscreen daily that has this sheerest hint of tint.

We can't compete or compare ourselves to celebrities, it's part of their job to look amazing, they get paid to look good. And we can not discount the importance of genetics as well. My mom has poreless skin, my sister and I are lucky to have inherited that gene, unfortunately we also have dry skin, but it's easier to moisturise than it is to get tiny pores 😂. I used to work in the film industry and the make up artist would always comment on how good my skin was, and all i was doing was moisturising and sunscreen, i would always have my own with me in my work bag, it was recommended by a dermatologist, I could only get it at the pharmacy, the packaging was ugly and it was cheap, but it worked really well for me 😁👍. This summer I had a very good friend who lives in another country, visit me and she asked me what I did to get my glowing skin 😊 I use the Garnier vitamin C and SPF 25 serum, i clean my face daily and I moisturizer it 😊.

Fascinating. If I don’t have Himalayan salt block, just the granulated kind, can I make the magic additive for my morning water? If so, what is the ratio? I never use the blue light feature in my mask as I don’t break out like I used to years ago. But, I am going to start using it 2 days a week and the red/infared 3 days. It will be interesting to observe any change. I am now going to check the oil blading video!

And they made me be able to live in warm California climate and not have any problems during the summer. I don’t get any melasma anymore from not only the sunscreen but for making sure that my skin is just soaked with antioxidants from those masks. And they don’t have to be expensive either. FYI skin blemishes are a sign of what’s going in your gut /liver (that includes hormonal imbalances ). Often related what you put into (or on top of) your body.
Here’s my ‘Korean hobo’ skincare that works ( night, morning is much more simple ) : cleanse with a 1000 roses foam cleanser & massage brush ( when i
run out i use shea black soap), then with raw honey.
    essence: star anise infusion
aha's : jaggary ( crystalized cane juice) solution
Hyaluronic acid serum ( homemade, with essential oils )
    Go pure retinol serum
Lymphatic face massage with a custom oil blend ( included home made red clover oil for phytoestrogen & recently added vitamin c oil ). Some days are more simple, other days I put chickpea or rice flour ‘mask’ on during bathing 😁Works great, my only issue is periodic red cheeks related to autoimmunity flare ups 😳🌸
