I love mine, had it about 18 months. It’s made a huge difference.
Separately, do you know about Shilajit? I’ve been taking that three months now. It has 85 trace minerals in.
Doctor do something for man skin care, please
Hi doctor could you please suggest something for the complete removal of freckles, and I have a hypersensitive skin.
Thank you
When in pakistan my grandmoth3r used to give us lemon juice (small lemons) in water and would put a pinch of salt in it instead of sugar. She used to tell us this will keep us hidrated while playing
It’s like a margarita without alcohol. It’s so good and hydrating. I drink it every morning 👍
keep it simple: wash your face, vitamin C, retinol, moisturizer and SPF, and of course a good diet and hydration, it's like magic!
And and daily workout
PLS WHAT RETINOL DO U USE? i dont know what it is but so far the retinols i tested my skin hated it so much like nothing ever before… also could u give some tips on how you use your retinol`?
Try a mild retinol first and use it every 2-3 days until your skin adjusts, aiming for every day use. Once your skin is okay with that you can up the strength of your retinol. It can be harsh at first, but once your skin adjusts it's magic. Also be sure to use a good moisturizer since it can be very drying.

Tretnoin requires perscription.

A fantastic mild exfoliate could be half a teaspoon of baking soda after cleansing it works for me, and you don’t have to be aggressive with your facial skin, ladies! Your face is not a floor!
Thanks but how do you do it?
@@lydiapetra1211just mix it with the slightest amount of water just so it turns into a paste so only a few drops and if needed a bit more and then add the paste to your skin like a peeling solution and massage it in .. or leave it as a mask ..

Dr. Rajani, I could watch you 24x7 non stop. I absolutely love your communication style, the high quality of content in each one of your videos, how practical and inexpensive tricks you share and such a kind accent you have. Listening to you is always a learning experience and a pleasure. Each time you say 'thanks for watching' I reply 'thank you for sharing!' 😊. Take care, doctor. God bless you! ❤
thank you! How very kind and I so appreciate your being here
I lived in Korea in the 1970s in a little tiny village.
The reason they want their skin white is because that shows elitism.
People who had darker skin were the peasants who worked in the field, or what we call farmers.
I really enjoy your channel.
And thank you so much for all of the research that you do and share with us.
I have a deep respect for your knowledge and your concern for the care of skin and teaching.
Times haven’t changed 😅
@@missmichelleluvwell in the west its now the rich who have tan skin because they go on vacations while the poor stay indoors working so they stay pale.

It is in every culture , in I did as well, it was also in Europe , upper class ladies were wearing hats and umbrellas to protect the face from the sun, until in the 20 century it became fashionable to get a sun tan .
@@bellaadamowicz8380 Thank God that times have changed. Tanned skin looks pretty and healthy. Ghostly white skin just looks sickly.
Love this video. I’ve used Korean skin care for years and I do have perfect skin which is a miracle at my age! I just recently added a version of the salts in my water along with algae nutrients. I’m so thankful we live in a time where there’s so much available and people like you share the information!

Thank you 💓🙏🌸
Can you use the pink salt from the grocery store in the water? Or does it have to be chunks?
@Dr rajani I wear sunscreen with a white cast because I want a whiter skin. I thought I was the only one 😂
Do you recommend a particular brand?
Please what product
Check out Celtic salt which is even better than Himalayan with more minerals.
Great idea although it’s pretty expensive. I bought a small box and it was costly. I might check out other brands. Thank you for the suggestion🌸
Also, make sure if possible, you get it from a good health food store & not big boxed stores.
Yes Celtic salt will be my next purchase.
100%
Yes Celtic better than Himalayan pink salt which comes from Pakistan and has toxic contaminants In it......🇬🇧
We have replaced white salt with pink salt and only using Himalaya pink salt. Recently we had visited Khewra salt mines in Pakistan and bought crystals of pure pink salt which contains 84 minerals
Amazing. Thanks for sharing

Korean viewers love Dr. Rajani 🤩 He is the bomb for sharing these practical applicable information in great depth! Thank you. Another thing that is very popular in Korea nowadays ... when we golf (or hike, or do outdoor activities, whatever) -- there is a "sticker" type of UV mask "piece" that we place close to the Canthus / Orbital areas in particular. It seems to help alot. it is moisturizing but also just flat out blocks the UV and we don't worry about reapplication, etc. Looks silly but trust me.... noone who has lizard-like skin can dare point fingers at the preventative-geeks.
I have some coming. Stay tuned
@@rajanimdskincare You have infrared eye patches coming? That is exciting…I do have a pair, but looking forward to trying your. 🙏🏻😊❤️
The problem I have with Himalayan salt is that it has many poisons like mercury, arsenic, lead, and thallium. Himalayan salt ingredients also include radioactive elements: radium, uranium, polonium, plutonium, etc.

Yup I heard this too. Switched to Celtic salt

Fascinating. If I don’t have Himalayan salt block, just the granulated kind, can I make the magic additive for my morning water? If so, what is the ratio? I never use the blue light feature in my mask as I don’t break out like I used to years ago. But, I am going to start using it 2 days a week and the red/infared 3 days. It will be interesting to observe any change. I am now going to check the oil blading video!
I use sk 2 love it.
I used an LED mask with Blue Red and Far-infrared for 20 minutes as it said on the box ($250 product from Nordstrom) and it gave me permanent dark hyperpigmentation on both sides like Chinese mustache. I went into depression knowing it can’t be treated 😢😢 now I am used to it.. but even God won’t be able to convince me to use that again!!
I also got dark patches after I started w far- infrared. When using just red my skin was improving.
I use the virgin cold pressed carrot seed oil😊😊 good stuff!!

This us amazing, i started to double vleanse many years ago, because to me it made since becuase i thought somenof the oil would help not to stripnmy face. Recently, i started adding more sheet mask in my skin care, becuase again i thought it made since andnyou are confirming what it waanin my head! I however didnt know about the salt and will try to do better with the water😁 i have been following what you tell us here, and i truly can say my skin is way way better than it used to be! Thank you for helping us not all of us can afford expensive treatments but least we can try new things at home🎖🤗

Hi Dr. Raj, can I use regular pink Himalayan salt for this water? I’m asking because you e shown large crystals. Also, if the regular crystals are fine do o let that sit the same way as your recipe did? Thank you a billion Dr. R - you’re THE best!
I really mean this. I love n appreciate you. I have my 22 and 30 year old daughter following you as well. I would do anything to be your patient.

No problem!
Tip Number 5: drink the water... with Himalayan salt. I buy it from Costco. 4: Double cleanse. Almond oils, Jojoba, Grape seed oil, sunflower oil. 3: Essence ( serum) first. Sunscreen last for sure. 2: Exfoliate the skin. Use spherical exfoliators or at least 10% HA. 1/ Blue light? I'll keep out of this. Why? It's not good for the macula. Macular degeneration ( MD) has been linked to blue light in people at high risk. Asians are less susceptible to MD than Caucasian women, especially with blue eyes. 415 nm is quite dangerous for the macula. We make sunglasses that block this length and call it: blue blockers. Just think about this. I see that there are holes around the eyes but I'll still stay away. Thanks!!
Ty😊
Hello Dr Rajani. I would love to get your face mask, however I do have older products that were really expensive...What are your thoughts on using what I've already got which is a red / blue/green LED wand. It's designed for the neck. I can make it work for my face and just use the Blue light for glass skin. I don't want to lose any more fat in my face. I'm trying to catch up to all your wonderful information. Thanks

Gosh Dr Rajani I have to watch some of your videos twice😄 I do have a few of these ingredients in my kitchen slready though. I'm thinking that I should invest inthe LED mask. Plz do some segments on senior skin.
Dr. I love your videos, thank you! Do you believe that low laser caps really work for thinning hair?
Yes they do imo. It's consistency that's needed However
I use a small face fan to dry inbetween layer’s
And Avocado cold pressed oil!🥑
I have to avoid salt at all costs, period! There is so much hidden in food already that I don’t need to add more. My blood pressure and damaged kidneys just can’t take it. I make almost everything from scratch as it is. No sugar, no salt, no alcohol.
I think sleep is the most important thing of all (besides a good diet, lots of water, etc. ... and genetics), especially for people over 50 like myself.
Unfortunately, it is easier said than done and I have yet to find a video on YTube that helps so I will be sure to check out your sleep video also. Thank you so much!
Dr. James DiNicolantonio has recommended to take both magnesium and inositol to help with sleep. I’ve tried a magnesium complex supplement. That by itself helped me, a longtime insomnia sufferer.
@@lilymar117Another natural sleep aid. Reading a book. Like a fictional story. I forget this myself but when I do, it works.
@@lilymar117
Hmmm… inositol? I’ve never heard of it.
I’ve been taking magnesium for years now to keep those infamous charley horses, I would often get at night, under control.
But I will definitely look into this inositol.
Thank you so much for your help. :)
@@Joyjoy-ih1ie I do that as well. Keeps me from getting my phone and exposing my eyes to extreme blue light. Sometimes, however, if the book is too good like the novel series I’m currently reading (a true page-turner), I fight my sleep to keep on reading. 😅
@lilymar117 thank you. I will check those out. I too have had insomnia for years. I was going to say pretty much all my adult life but when I think about it I had insomnia before I was even a teenager.

You haven’t told us yet???? What have you been waiting for sir?! I’m your “shirt-fan” don’t you ever keep secrets from me for glass skin! Lol! Months ago, I incorporated, castor oil, Helichrysum, oil, frankincense I have fun mixing my oils I don’t treat myself like a guinea pig I make an educated decision and choice and the results are phenomenal. Honestly, it is a lot of fun because you see the results from putting in all the effort and it doesn’t have to take five hours a day the more you do it, the sooner you achieve your goals and maintain great skin 🤌 I adore you 🤭🤭🤭
Great video! Could you do an updated video on dissolving filler, for middle aged women (40's).
Absolutely. I work with many dissolving clinics and they are making new protocols every few months. we could even do an interview with them or I can summarize in a video. What aspect of dissolving are you most interested in?
late set inflammation from Juvederm Voluma in high cheeks...I think placement is off because of the puffiness in crows feet area. What are the chances of dissolving partially?@@rajanimdskincare

I just recently saw a video from another dermatologist that said over hydrating can cause bad bacteria to overgrow ( which I'm sure can be combated with the blue light ) but what exactly it would be over hydrating?
I want to point out what should be fairly obvious but always overlooked when comparing the average fair skined person, like myself- Irish, to those with easily tanned, or darker complexions, that they have more melanin...which translates to thicker overall skin. This is why Asians, Africa Americans...don't show signs of aging until very late in life, if at all. So we, fair skinned folks, have to work twice as hard to maintain a thicker dermis as well as all the sun damage that rears its ugly head continuously. So when I see celebrities like Jlo, Kardashians, Halle Berry, Byonce,
being revered for their seemingly timeless skin I want to say "yeah right, wonder what your skin would look like if you had fair skin. Not fair.
not true. if youd go to asia you will see loads of older looking ppl, or actually according their age. Im asian and have aunties and uncles who look totally their age..some even older..it’s a missconception. Asia is the continent of beauty but not everyone practices it. But those who do, and its a lifelong commitment, are the young looking ones u have in mind. but never judge unless youve been there.
@@liayesung5721 I didn't say every single Asian, or person of darker color NEVER ages. That's absurd. I said this type of skin has much more melanin and therefore skin with more pigments ages slower, it's a scientific fact. Especially over paler colored skin with less of this. And, I spent part of my childhood in China and Japan, and visit every few yrs since. So, don't assume because I'm Irish I've not been there.
I'm 63 and very Irish looking. I probably look about 50. My skin is in good shape, with no sun spots, or irregularities. A bit of sagging though. @@Phoenixtwinflame363
@@Phoenixtwinflame363I do understand what you are saying and my mom's side has very fair skin however I like to look at the diet and sun practices of how people's skin looks. My grandma who was Irish and Dutch very fair skin Always had a hat on anytime she stepped out. & Ate raw produce along with cooked meat ECT. At 78 she didn't have hardly any wrinkles. My other grandma darker skinned had a lot more antioxidants in her diet and I know wore a face sunscreen since her 30's she to had great skin. I really think it's the nutrients along with getting sun but protecting the skin. They both really didn't have added sugar in their diet. Sugar definitely ages. They also very rarely wore makeup and didn't use a ton of chemicals in their home. My 3 daughters are fair skinned so I'm always looking for tips to preserve their skin without chemicals. Diet and hats have been key. They don't burn in the sun.

Don’t eat any sugar. Don’t even THINK about eating sugar.
How in the heck do you get off sugar I’m trying and I’m having such a hard time!
Would you happen to have any info on EMU oil? I hear it really is the holy grail and closest to our own skin lipids for absorption. An ailment and wrinkle reducer-fixer, have started to use it over my eye cream at night. Very good.
I used to use it until I found out they actually kill emu for the oil. It’s horrible and shouldn’t be used if you care about animals. I used it for a good six months and noticed no benefits compared to Argan oil. By the way, castor oil is fantastic for the skin. It makes mine crazy baby soft and smooth and has greatly reduced my brown spots. And if you put it on your lashes they grow long.
