    • @sarahb3937
      @sarahb3937 2 місяці тому

      Try a mild retinol first and use it every 2-3 days until your skin adjusts, aiming for every day use. Once your skin is okay with that you can up the strength of your retinol. It can be harsh at first, but once your skin adjusts it's magic. Also be sure to use a good moisturizer since it can be very drying.

    Korean viewers love Dr. Rajani 🤩 He is the bomb for sharing these practical applicable information in great depth! Thank you. Another thing that is very popular in Korea nowadays ... when we golf (or hike, or do outdoor activities, whatever) -- there is a "sticker" type of UV mask "piece" that we place close to the Canthus / Orbital areas in particular. It seems to help alot. it is moisturizing but also just flat out blocks the UV and we don't worry about reapplication, etc. Looks silly but trust me.... noone who has lizard-like skin can dare point fingers at the preventative-geeks.

    Fascinating. If I don’t have Himalayan salt block, just the granulated kind, can I make the magic additive for my morning water? If so, what is the ratio? I never use the blue light feature in my mask as I don’t break out like I used to years ago. But, I am going to start using it 2 days a week and the red/infared 3 days. It will be interesting to observe any change. I am now going to check the oil blading video!

    Tip Number 5: drink the water... with Himalayan salt. I buy it from Costco. 4: Double cleanse. Almond oils, Jojoba, Grape seed oil, sunflower oil. 3: Essence ( serum) first. Sunscreen last for sure. 2: Exfoliate the skin. Use spherical exfoliators or at least 10% HA. 1/ Blue light? I'll keep out of this. Why? It's not good for the macula. Macular degeneration ( MD) has been linked to blue light in people at high risk. Asians are less susceptible to MD than Caucasian women, especially with blue eyes. 415 nm is quite dangerous for the macula. We make sunglasses that block this length and call it: blue blockers. Just think about this. I see that there are holes around the eyes but I'll still stay away. Thanks!!

I would love to get your face mask, however I do have older products that were really expensive...What are your thoughts on using what I've already got which is a red / blue/green LED wand. It's designed for the neck. I can make it work for my face and just use the Blue light for glass skin. I don't want to lose any more fat in my face. I want to point out what should be fairly obvious but always overlooked when comparing the average fair skined person, like myself- Irish, to those with easily tanned, or darker complexions, that they have more melanin...which translates to thicker overall skin. This is why Asians, Africa Americans...don't show signs of aging until very late in life, if at all. So we, fair skinned folks, have to work twice as hard to maintain a thicker dermis as well as all the sun damage that rears its ugly head continuously. So when I see celebrities like Jlo, Kardashians, Halle Berry, Byonce,
    being revered for their seemingly timeless skin I want to say "yeah right, wonder what your skin would look like if you had fair skin. Not fair.

      not true. if youd go to asia you will see loads of older looking ppl, or actually according their age. Im asian and have aunties and uncles who look totally their age..some even older..it’s a missconception. Asia is the continent of beauty but not everyone practices it. But those who do, and its a lifelong commitment, are the young looking ones u have in mind. but never judge unless youve been there.

      @@liayesung5721 I didn't say every single Asian, or person of darker color NEVER ages. That's absurd. I said this type of skin has much more melanin and therefore skin with more pigments ages slower, it's a scientific fact. Especially over paler colored skin with less of this. And, I spent part of my childhood in China and Japan, and visit every few yrs since. So, don't assume because I'm Irish I've not been there.

My other grandma darker skinned had a lot more antioxidants in her diet and I know wore a face sunscreen since her 30's she to had great skin. I really think it's the nutrients along with getting sun but protecting the skin. They both really didn't have added sugar in their diet. Sugar definitely ages. I used to use it until I found out they actually kill emu for the oil. It’s horrible and shouldn’t be used if you care about animals. I used it for a good six months and noticed no benefits compared to Argan oil. By the way, castor oil is fantastic for the skin. It makes mine crazy baby soft and smooth and has greatly reduced my brown spots. And if you put it on your lashes they grow long.
