@@mspader8I got mine the same time as PRF @ my provider & didn’t see much results if any after nearly a year of having it every 4-6 weeks here in Australia.
A lot of other dermatologists online advise against a derma roller because it can drag on the skin and cause scars. They all recommend a microneedling pen over a derma roller. But I do 100% agree with micro needling.
Just enjoy listening to your depth of knowledge about skincare. I’m glad you dumb it down for a newbie like myself on my skincare journey. Always something new to learn love it.
To disinfect your dermaroller after use, soak it in hot water with a denture cleanser tablet (I use Efferdent). Let it sit for thirty minutes, then rinse it under running water. I clean the case with isopropyl alcohol, but not the roller itself. Works like a charm 😊
Raj thank you as always u have classes. I am an esthetician and working in the industry for over 40 years and I am a natural ways. I appreciate ur research. I love that u give people a many choices.
Really enjoy and appreciate Dr Rajani’s videos and love the fact that he refuses sponsors. It makes his information and content so much more credible and respectable. 🙏 I’m still afraid of micro needling though so no chance I’m trying this! 😆
You are the best!❤ I just checked Amazon for this exact Derma-roller and what a surprise this seller increased the price by a $1.00! 😮 I will find another comparable roller from another seller as a result.
Actually when people hear that you can really help, it will attract more people than everyone wants to be truly getting helped without paying a fortune for it. Also people with other issues will come then, wanting to have a doctor who truly is interested in helping his patients. You re doing a good job and I hope it will also inspire others.
Dr. Rajani, I love how incorruptible you are. It’s obvious you don’t care about what sounds good to people, but you actually care about scientific accuracy! I ordered a TheraFace Pro, but after watching this video, I’ll get a microneedling stamp for sure.
I had an eyelid lift or Blepharoplasty last year after I turned 72. I am delighted with the results and it was not painful. The best part is that my eyelids dropped so it interfered with my vision, and Medicare paid for the procedure! Check it out!
@@sarajones8093 My ophthalmologist (not an optometrist) did a test to see if my vision was obscured and since it was they said Medicare would cover it. He referred me to a surgeon that specializes in Blepharoplasty. I can’t even see a scar. Good luck!
I am a 74 yr young man. My facial skin is now starting to show signs of aging. Right in the cheek bone area there is a patch of slight parallel wrinkles that are steadily getting more pronounced. The rest of my face looks okay but I am sure would enjoy some benefit from this micro-needling. I am going to study this further in order to understand what foods benefit the skin although - I have already ordered a 1mm needle roller. Perhaps I should start with a shallower depth to begin with. Obviously, now that I have watched this video, I will order the appropriate depth for under the eyes. This is marvellous information and I thank you!!!!!!!!!!

What does doctor think of that?
I'm so encouraged that you are a doctor who has tried all this. You know what it's all about. I would be one of your patients someday. I appreciate the information. Because of your videos, I reserve this level of skin treatment to the Dermatologists. I love C, HA, and your redlight mask. Thank you.
This is misleading. At 4:58 the article says these results are achieved w/ a 1.5mm needle depth. Most at home “devices” or derma rollers only go to .25 - .30mm!
I saw that too, but we are not professionals, we need to start with needles smaller in size. If you start with a 1.5 you might have an issue with your skin. For example my skin is thin, and if I use 1.5 I’ll end up with a bloodied face. Start small. See how it goes and then upgrade.
He said in the video, with his knowledge of the derma layer and working with patients, that you don't need to go in that deep, even when the study uses that depth.

According to professor who studied dermaroller for 10 years, there is no need to do treatments more then every 20days and full results are visible after one year
Send me the link to that professor. Follow real doctors seeing real patients in real life. Thats the data. Same for hormone replacement and same for your surgeries. Imagine going to get advice or surgery from a surgeon not seeing real patients and operating in real life? Professors are great...but real life experience and studies are key

@@teresas683 nothing wrong with someone restating what they’ve heard. Gives Dr Rajani an opportunity to respond and educate. P.S. this takes time & consistency, so if you're looking for a fast result go to the office.
I have skin like a baby but I'm 74 years old. Why? Because I eat gelatin in almost everything I eat. I put it in smoothies, bake it in my health bread, dissolve it in soups, etc, etc, etc. I'm a gelatin freak! And it's worth it since I don't have to do anything except add it to my cooking to make sure I get loads of it every day.
Where do you purchase your gelatin? I’ve purchased Knox from the supermarket but it doesn’t go far. If I’m going to use it on a regular basis (which I’d like to do) I need a larger amount. Thank you!

I’m micro needling tonight! I tried it once and woke up with a “sunburnt” feeling the next day and my skin was red. But, my skin recovered beautifully within a few days. Consistency is key. I just entered my 4th decade-so I want to bank as much collagen as possible.
That’s what happens and is normal every time.
Man has been adding great value to people's lives 👏👏👏👏
I appreciate your kind remark
Dr. Rajani, your enthusiasm is infectious! I can tell you are passionate about helping people use the best skincare techniques possible. I started using your collagen powder and really feel it has helped. I am also in a serious skin care routine! I’m 73 and thought it was too late for me but you and a few other UA-camrs, I’m are my inspiration.
I thank you greatly and huge congrats to you
Just started microneedling and noticed a difference in my skin after the first session! Looking forward to the next. Thank you so much for this valuable information. You're the BEST!!
Hi which model roller please and what size needles?
Kind regards
I genuinely appreciate your clear, fact-based studies and examples of microneedling. This A to Z podcast thoroughly covers many points to achieve great result. Thank you
I so appreciate that @Thinkaboutit84. Stay tuned and have a super day.
I love this doctor..i believe he is really honest...bless him.
Thank you for going over the derma roller again. I’m 63 and reading 400% certainly caught my attention! I’m buying one today!
Wonderful!
Make sure you get one with real needles not the fake wheel ones

Happy 63. I'm there in a few weeks. I notice more wrinkles since last November, but I'm also trying to slim down-so maybe that is part of the reason for the wrinkles. Co gratulations on your purchase. Please give us an update.
Have done since 2013 - made all the difference! Thanks.
Can you please recommend a good derma roller.

Dr. Rajani ...you just voiced my opinion...was planning on advocating a dwrmaroller more for my patients and myself as my Dermatologist failed to understand my concerns and objectives for my skin...thanks so much for being the most honest and you have boosted my confidence with your evidence based presentation 👍

Thank you for explaining how this works, doctor ❤. Now I get how this works. Someone said its like gardening. All I could see was scars. But now I see it will not. Thanks again 🥰
The results look so good! 🔥👏🏽🙌🏾
Microneedling with exosomes....wow!!!!!!!I my skin is tight. 3 sessions in... Excercise don't smoke don't drink and sleep. 8 hours. I'm 62 going on 35
I've heard of microneedling, but what are exosomes? :)
What exosomes do you use?
Which exosomes, and where do you get them please?
@@mspader8I got mine the same time as PRF @ my provider & didn’t see much results if any after nearly a year of having it every 4-6 weeks here in Australia.
No 62 year old woman looks 35, no matter what interventions she partakes in.
A lot of other dermatologists online advise against a derma roller because it can drag on the skin and cause scars. They all recommend a microneedling pen over a derma roller. But I do 100% agree with micro needling.
Yes curious about the same thing rolling is considered a no-no stamping yes... Does he ever address this
It's the depth. Deep derma rolling will tear...not superficial
@@rajanimdskincare Got it.
I've been doing dermarolling 15 years, zero problems need high quality needles of course
I think it won’t drag if you put some hyaluronic acid on each area before using the roller.
Just enjoy listening to your depth of knowledge about skincare. I’m glad you dumb it down for a newbie like myself on my skincare journey. Always something new to learn love it.
🙏🏻🙏🏻 I try my best to make it relatable and I appreciate your kind words and being here
I’ve been using micro needling for years. Definitely helped me keep what I have. I’m in preservation mode.
It works on the body skin as well. It lifts sagging skin

To disinfect your dermaroller after use, soak it in hot water with a denture cleanser tablet (I use Efferdent). Let it sit for thirty minutes, then rinse it under running water. I clean the case with isopropyl alcohol, but not the roller itself. Works like a charm 😊
Thank you for telling us about this way of cleaning the dermaroller.
I was wondering how to clean it , thank you
You could just dunk it in alcohol. There's no need for special cleanser
Use dermapen!!
Thank u!
Thank you for the informative video. Can you pleases do a tutorial on the correct way to dermaroll? It will help a lot.

I love your honesty and how you consistently give the straight goods. I wish other skin doctors would follow your playbook. 😊
A dollar?????
Prime day coming up on the 16-17. maybe will be on sale again then.
Can you provide a link to it?
Wow, a whole dollar turned you away! Such misery.
What IS the exact roller ??? I see no link to amazon
Thank you for all your time and willingness to help!
Its amazing. I couldn't believe, result is astonishing in the combination whith retinol and other routine.
Actually when people hear that you can really help, it will attract more people than everyone wants to be truly getting helped without paying a fortune for it. Also people with other issues will come then, wanting to have a doctor who truly is interested in helping his patients. You re doing a good job and I hope it will also inspire others.

Dr. Rajani, I very much appreciate this low-cost option that you have shared with us and explained so well. XO
Dr. Rajani, I love how incorruptible you are. It’s obvious you don’t care about what sounds good to people, but you actually care about scientific accuracy!

Dr Rajani, thank you for thinking of us. This is something I can afford.🥰💙
I had an eyelid lift or Blepharoplasty last year after I turned 72. I am delighted with the results and it was not painful. The best part is that my eyelids dropped so it interfered with my vision, and Medicare paid for the procedure! Check it out!
What kind of eye doctor/Surgeon did you see to get them to make the diagnoses and work with Medicare for approval?
@@sarajones8093 My ophthalmologist (not an optometrist) did a test to see if my vision was obscured and since it was they said Medicare would cover it. He referred me to a surgeon that specializes in Blepharoplasty. I can’t even see a scar. Good luck!

I am a 74 yr young man. My facial skin is now starting to show signs
of aging. Right in the cheek bone area there is a patch of slight parallel
wrinkles that are steadily getting more pronounced. The rest of my face
looks okay but I am sure would enjoy some benefit from this micro-needling.
I am going to study this further in order to understand what foods benefit
the skin although - I have already ordered a 1mm needle roller. Perhaps
I should start with a shallower depth to begin with. Obviously, now that I
have watched this video, I will order the appropriate depth for under the eyes.

I sincerely appreciate your kindness

It is just now getting loose and sagging. I do most everything you suggest. I just need help in scheduling all of the treatments. Could you give a schedule of what to do when? It would be a great help. Thank you for all of the information you share. It is very helpful.
