Oil is too cheap to not change often as it's a critical maintenance item for our performance cars. ~M.F Honestly, I believe in the tested time frames of synthetics from AMSOIL. But! Oil is too cheap to not change often. If you have a modified car, your going to want performance oil or thicker oil. Talk to your speed shop for the type you should be using. I use AMSOIL Z-rod 10w-30 and change my oil every 2,500 miles. I also use a Wix filter.

Pennzoil platinum 5w20 full synthetic, made out of natural gas 21.97 at Wally world, very high quality oil. I change my oil every 5,000 to 7,000 miles on my Chevy Malibu 2014 for only 30.00 dollars with A.C Delco filter for 6.47 great price and high quality oil and I get very good gas mileage.

Not sure if Wix Filters you're using has a 22psi bypass, but GM specifically requires that for the 6.2 Camaro engine. Here are my notes: Oil Filter: GM P/N 12640445. PF64 (AC Delco), Must have 22psi bypass! DO NOT use PF48 ! it has 15 psi bypass Napa Synthetic Platinum P/N 4100290 has a 22psi bypass. Nice video Mat. My question is when u use that high end oil like AMS oil signature series do u still go off of the time interval that ur car tells you or u can wait the 29,000 miles that oil recommends.

Bro check out the 2018 Camaro I just posted! This will help I plan on getting mine after winter
How many litres of the oil go to the engine?
My math might be wrong but 10 quarts is like 9.46353 liters.
LethalGarage Thanks a lot
My 2022 says to use 0W-40.
5 years ago when this video was posted all cars had 5w-30
Why does a 5th gen take 8 quarts and a 6th gen takes 10 if they’re both 6.2L? 🤔
Oil cooling lines and oil coolers
LethalGarage if you prime the flirt does that quart in the filter go towards the 10?
Also ls3 vs lt1.
i use a 0w30 for my Camaro
Amsoil signature series is a good oil but not API approved!! Royal Purple or Pennzoil Ultra are API approved and good Motor oils!
I love it very good
What suspension is he on
Eibach pro kit paired with the GM magride.
5w 30? The oil fill cap says 0w40
You must have a 2019
Does anybody with a 2018 Camaro SS automatic have vibration issues that are not the transmission and not the wheels and tires? I've probably been to the dealership 20 times no joke 20 times since I've had the car I had the wheels balanced the transmission checked every time I take it up there something on the car gets damaged I've had my steering wheel replaced a rim and tire replaced. I'm so over it at this point I'm actually considering selling the car it's got six thousand miles on it. I'm going to say this one more time it's not the wheels and it's not the transmission I am aware of the shutter problems I don't have it. If anybody has any information please let me know.
You don’t think it the shutter of the torque converter? It was on mine.
I have a 2014 camaro and I don’t know what kind of oil it needs I bought it, it didn’t have a manual book ._. Help me please...
Google your model and you can find a manual online
If you have metal shavings you need a new motor 😂
