    Guys! I just realised I made a mistake in the beginning, she disappeared in 2004, not 2009. I must have muddled my words because she disappeared on the 19th of March. I always make one mistake in these videos don't I 🙃🙃🙃

      I agree but at the same time to this is completely normal behavior for teens and sometimes mothers don't want to be too overbearing and shut the teen completely off... like, push them away. Make sense? Plus, I'm sure her mother wasn't thinking that whatever was wrong with her might lead to her being murdered.

      I know it’s so sad. And some cases (not this one), I get frustrated bc either the police won’t start looking or no one reports the crime right away or Time is wasted etc. When someone goes missing every minute matters because after 48 hours the odds of finding the person alive drops to a really low percentage. It’s heartbreaking. I’m hoping as technology keeps advancing quickly more and more things will get caught on video. I can’t remember the woman’s name, but there was a woman literally yanked off the street in Philadelphia and thankfully eventually found alive in Maryland I believe and it was a traffic camera that basically saved the day. A clue was caught on camera that led to the discovery. So between more businesses and private residents using security cameras and people YouTubing and Snap Chatting things, I’m hoping people catch more things on video that lead to a happy ending.

    It's kind of weird that her Ex boyfriend said he saw her car but didn't investigate or try to call her mom? Even if they weren't together he had to have cared for her at least a little to make sure she was okay. To me that makes it seem like he had something to do with it. Whether he is a major or minor player.

    • @sophieminter0
      @sophieminter0 2 роки тому

      That's what I thought! Unless the car was new or always kept in the garage so he had never seen it before. I think that piece of information should have been included. But maybe it wasn't mentioned online

    Maura Murray and Brianna Maitland both went missing within a month and nine or ten days (I believe) of each other and about ninety miles apart. They look similar. Brown hair. Petite. Pretty smile. Pointed nose. White. Green/hazel eyes, they were both in single car accidents where alcohol bottles were found on rural roads. Maura was an alcoholic and Brianna was a drug user so they were both troubled. Both had distinctive scarring. Brianna on her face Maura on her calf. Brianna was found on Route 118 and Maura was found on Route 112. There are a lot of similarities in their cases. It's not outside of the realm of possibility to think the same twisted fuck that got one, got the other as well.

    one thing confuses me ... why did the police not check the CCTV in the shopping centre while she was with her mom, especially the one in the parking lot ... they would have probably found something to give them a clue about why she was acting that way or if she saw something ..

      True. I am actually from Montgomery Vt and I still live there and drive past that barn and the black lantern inn every day. It's interesting though because there are no close big shopping centers in the area. The closest one is about 45 minutes away, unless they went grocery shopping.

    • @BakchodBegum

      Could have been that there was no CCTV. Also such footage is always grainy so they might have not been able to figure out who she met or looked at.

    I feel like it isn't the drug theory because if she was in trouble with drugs and owed them money, why wouldn't they have taken the money/checks or even the medications to sell? It seems like whoever took her's main goal was just to get her, it seems more personal

      It's not strange that their bodies were never found. They have not found all of the bodies of jumpers from the Golden Gate bridge. The currents are very turbulent in that area, and bodies can easily be swept out into the Pacific. It's a lot more likely that this happened to the three guys from Alcatraz than that they managed to make it to shore and then all three seamlessly disappear under fake identities for the rest of their lives.

    My theory:
    When at the mall she saw Nathan and ramen at the mall and talked to them and they planned to meet at the Dutchsmen place. She maybe owed some money then Nathan and ramen killed her but realized that was a mistake then cut her up and sent her to the farm to get rid of the evidence. Also to explain the car I agree that she was really spooked and tried to leave but was in reverse and got stuck then Nathan and ramen got her.

    OH MY GOD. I discovered your channel last night and found this in my suggested! I am from Vermont but since I was only 2 when this happened, I had no clue when I clicked on the video. Both of my parents grew up 15 minutes from Montgomery, I currently live 45 minutes from there. I actually just asked my boyfriend's grandmother about this, she has lived in Montgomery for over 25 years now. She said that she completely believes that it was about drugs. She just told me that they have had a search party every year on the anniversary for the past 14 years. She said that she will tell me the whole story next time that she sees me and I'll be sure to find this video and update this comment when I hear her views on it. One theory that my mom just told me that you might not know of is that Brianna's body was cut up (like the pig theory) but instead put in a cow manure pit in Fairfield which is only about 20-30 minutes from Montgomery, only 10 minutes from my house.... Anyways thank you so much for this video because I had no clue what was going on in my own home state!!

    I am a bit confused over the people who saw her car. They didn't think it was suspicious that a random car was backed into the barn? Were the headlights/indicator still on when her ex boyfriend came by? He didn't recognize the car? (though maybe too dark of night at that time, I suppose.) Multiple people thought it was interesting enough to get out and take photos (possibly in the dark), yet not interesting enough to call police?... I don't know, maybe I'm just a really suspicious person.

      I live in VT pretty close to where this happened... trust me, seeing an abandoned car isn't a very strange occurrence especially on that road, the way a passerby would've approached the vehicle, unless they rubbernecked, they wouldn't have even known that the vehicle had actually collided with the building. The only thing that behooves me are the people that said they took pictures... why take pictures of an abandoned vehicle and not say something about it until later??

    I think maybe she (Brianna) owed Nathan and Ramen money, she saw them at the mall & they spooked her (which would explain why she was so shaken up on the car ride home) she went to the house to meet up with them & give them their money. She had 2 un-cashed checks in her car, maybe she thought that'd suffice. The dealers were not satisfied with the checks because they obviously would be able to cash them. (Btw while this whole money exchange was happening Brianna was still in her car, she had not gotten out ). The dealers probably spooked/threatened Brianna again, like they did at the mall. Briana was so scared & in a panic so she tried to drive off, backing into the wall. Since the car was up on the foundation she was stuck & couldn't drive away. Nathan and ramen were pissed that she tried to skip out on them & they rookie her. I don't think they killed her, at least not right then & there. I think she was taken to the dealers house, and after that I'm lost

    The car in the barn is so odd. The ex boyfriend definitely sounds suspicious....driving home from a party at 4 am? Wouldn't you most likely have been drinking and not be good to drive if it's 4 am and you're coming home from a party at that age? Not to generalize but that just sounds odd to me. I feel like he's involved in some way. This happened wayyyy too close to home, and a possible tie to Maura is so fascinating! Poor girls.

    personally, i think Brianna owed those two guys money then fled. let me explain.. she was uneasy that day because she could've gotten a threatening phone call or the known drug dealers were following her. she was probably trying to make money to pay them back that's why she was so nervous about getting to her job the next morning. whilst driving home, the two men kidnapped her, but she somehow escaped and is now under the radar in fear that they might find her and kill
    her (if they threatened to do so while she was held captive) .. so yeah that's my theory.

I think it would be really interesting to see you make a video on 'the west Memphis three' which was a case of three boys that went missing and were later found dead in a river. 3 teenagers were found to be the cause of the murders and served long sentences in jail but then later were found to be innocent. To this day no one really knows who murdered the boys and it would be really good to hear your opinion on it. There is also a movie called 'the Devils knot' which is based on this crime.

It would be so sick if you could partner with like the police or FBI or something and get names of missing people and more info about their cases because your mystery videos get like over 200,000 views and they might be able to help find someone or reach out to someone who has information about the case you are speaking about. It could honestly help the FBI/ police. they already help a lot by re-raising awareness about old cold cases.

      ShineBrightStars lol you think,the FBI or even police will give private case information to this girl? she's not even an American citizen.I they don't even give information to family members of the missing people.

      @ShineBrightStars 7 років тому +10

      Not necessarily give her private information but just inform her of other cold cases/kidnappings/missing persons cases and the details of what happened so that she can broadcast those cases to this large of an audience and maybe not even necessarily the police but the families of the victims or someone idk it's just an idea.

    Brianna's car had a University of Massachusetts parking sticker on its window, UMass is in Amherst, MA, where Maura disappeared from. (thinking emoji)

      That was a picture of Maura's car. She probably mixed photos up because the cases are very similar.

    Please do the disappearance of the Sodder children! There were 5 kids that were never found after a house fire and there were no remains. Shady stuff.

    You should do a follow up video on the mysteries that have been solved when and if they get solved. That'd be so cool. It's always good to have an ending to a story.
