Robert Jason Owens has been charged with Zebb Quinn's murder!!!! I'm so happy that his family can finally have some closure. I'm from Asheville and my mother worked with Zebb at Walmart. Its been a case I have been following and praying for, for a while.
Yup it sucks he had to kill. Two other ppl and an unborn child before he could get arrested they should of checked owens place long time ago and those other two ppl would be alive rn..so sad....

My friend lives in Asheville. I visit from time to time. Her friend is actually friends with Zebb’s sister. Small world.
On July 10th Owens was indicted on charges for murdering Zebb, I don't know the details but because he was the last known person to see Zebb alive as Bella said things just pointed in his direction

Bella you should look at a case that happened in Mexico about a little girl called Paulette who disappeared one night from her bed and it was the biggest search that has ever been made in Mexico, but after several interviews with the parents and all that, the little girl appeared "trapped" under her own blankets. The weird thing is that the mother actually made interviews on that same bed five days after the disappearance but neither her or the interviewers noticed any weird smells. One of the craziest theories is that the actual president of Mexico was involved in the case to gain political popularity.
I totally agree with you that it's Owens. There are still so many unanswered questions though! How did the hotel card not lead anywhere? And where did the puppy come from? And what did the lipstick and exclamation marks mean if it wasn't to do with Misty? It's all so strange.
To send him on a wild goose chase to mess with him and the family and tire him out. Being messed with is cognitively and physically tiring and stressful thus Zebb wouldn't have been able to make snap decisions or concentrate as easily, he'd also be distracted.
Those could be the reason, but it's strange that he would admit he's guilty to two peoples murders but try to throw police off his trail when it comes to a third?
I wish there were more comments about the actual story than her lipstick and being "early" or "first". I wish people would actually debate on the cases in these videos. I find them so interesting..

In fact, true crime is all John Lordan does and he’s very good at it. And I have to also agree that cases like Cayley Anthony, Jon Benet Ramsey, and others like them have been *way* overdone and I wouldn’t even watch anything on those at this point. People can do a simple Google or You Tube search and find more than enough info on those types of cases. I’m a new sub to Bella and I hope she will focus on more obscure cases that we probably have not heard before. Those victims / families really need the exposure!

9pm is such a weird time to go see a car to buy. I wonder if the person selling the car was ever interviewed as to why the hell he would agree to meet a complete random at such a late time. But the circumstances of finding the car is even weirder, like a Labrador puppy and a pair of lips drawn on the back window?
Actually the guy Zeb went with to go see a car with a guy who also worked at Wal-Mart, so they knew each other. If you put the pieces together after watching the video on the series "Disappeared", the guy Zeb was following obviously knew the boyfriend of the girl Zeb liked (even though they both denied it) because the night Zeb disappears he's supposedly looking at a car, gets a page from his aunt and he supposedly rushes off. But it was all a set up. Why they felt the need to kill him is so ridiculous and sad. He wasn't a threat. It's sad if Zeb's own aunt was involved since the last page Zeb got was from his aunt who he rarely saw or talked to, but coincidentally was friends with the girl's mother; Zeb liked. She claims she was at the girls house talking to the mother, (how convenient) and the girl and her boyfriend were supposedly there too. How convenient. But the aunt later claimed that someone broke into her house and then later denied it. Then a couple came forward and said they saw Zeb's car and noticed a girl driving it and took down the part of the license plate. So when they talk to the police and give the sketch artists the description of the girl, it looked just like the girl Zeb liked. And the partial license plate they wrote down was the same on Zeb's car. When the police interviewed her she said the couple made up the story. Why would strangers make up a story about seeing someone they didn't know driving the car of a missing guy she knew? Might explain the lips drawn on the back of his car when it was found. That she did it as a clue or as a goodbye kiss to Zeb. I hate that they never could get evidence a long time ago to convict them. That it took 17 years to convict the someone. I'm sure the girl and her boyfriend were involved because what other reason would that guy have to murder Zeb and why would the aunt be paging Zeb suddenly out of the blue.
@@kaymiller5300 That is a lot of assumptions. It is rare that murders involve more than one person. It does happen in organized crime. If they were all involved is it possible that illegality was the motive as in some sort of organized crime. The lips on the window and the dog may mean something else.

You start putting the pieces together. How does that not make sense? As they say, there are no coincidences. The kid was set up and a lot of people were involved. There's a giant billboard with Zebb's face on it and info about the case near my house, and every time I see it I get a shiver down my spine. I definitely think Owens did it. He's been indicted. It's really sad, Zebb seems like he was a nice guy. Owens creeps me out. I believe the theory that Zebb's body was buried in Owen's backyard, I remember hearing that somewhere. But I don't know if that's been proven.

I live around the area you are talking about, and it is so weird to hear all the places you hear in the daily in this type of situation. I have lived here since I was born (lol not that long, just 12 years) but nobody talks about this. This is the first time I have ever heard about this case, and it's in my hometown. It's just weird that it's the victims hometown and nobody talks or even knows about this, and I wanted to thank you for making this video. ❤️

Here's what I think happened. The two guys were on their way to look at the car, Owens in front, Zebb driving behind him. Zebb somehow rear-ended Owens (I'm not sure if it was intentional breaking on Owens part or not, I feel like it might have been) and they pulled over & got into a fight over who was at fault. Owens ended up killing Zebb during this fight. I think Zebb did get a text that night, (I think it was the girl from his aunt's house) but I don't think he left to call her back or came back frantic or any of that. I think Owens just made that part up. The injuries from the second "accident" were from the fight. Don't ask why this super specific scenario popped into my head, but it's the first thing I thought of.
Emily Vecellio Yeah, there's still so much that frustrates me about this case. The lips drawn on the window & the puppy, that just doesn't seem to me like something a person like Owens would do. Also, the fact that even AFTER they found the car, the police say they still had no leads...like WHAT?? There was a jacket that was NOT Zebb's in the car, why can't they get DNA from that? They can get "touch DNA" from things that people have just...yep, touched! Plus the hair they found. Again...DNA??? And the puppy and the motel card. I just don't get how the police, with all their resources could not track down where they came from. These things seem to be stuff that should be easy to trace. So yeah, there's still a lot that doesn't make sense to me. Especially as there's so little to go on. Well, so little they're telling US anyway. I sincerely HOPE the police know more :)
Thank God this asshole is finally going to pay for what he did to poor Zebb. It looks like we were right about what happened. So now, knowing that Owens actually DID do this, it looks like the lips drawn on the window of the car was just a way to throw off the police. A red herring. And the puppy? Well, I'm still convinced it was just a way for them to notice the car quicker.

Great video! there is another case in my hometown Shelby, NC of this little girl named Asha Degree that went missing in the early 00's. It's a super bizarre case and it would be interesting to look into, and to bring some awareness to the case! I believe the case is still open
