I've worked for IKEA for almost 12 years and you're the first person I've heard that seems to 100% get why we're here. Bravo! Please keep sharing your insights and I'll pass them on to the right people x
I have a tiny flat in the UK and IKEA's storage solutions have been a godsend. I don't care what anyone says the quality is great and some furniture pieces I have had for over a decade. I visit at least once a month and I always find something that I never knew I needed! I do mix and match IKEA pieces with other high-end items from other retailers as I think you can fall easily into the trap of doing top-to-toe IKEA and that looks far too uniform for me but I've never had to return anything I've bought from them. I think they're the best option if you're renting a smaller place and need extra storage. Great video.

But if it was them doing the video they would be mad if you didn't listen to their intro. Just goes to show you can't please anybody at any time sometimes. So you can only please yourself. I think your intro was lovely. You just continue on and be you. Everybody else is already taken...

I live in a state that has no Ikea store (sadly) but they ship to me. I order all the time and get things shipped. However, not every item they sell can be purchased online (at least by my zip code). Just an FYI for people who live in states with no Ikea.
Great tips. I enjoy listening to your descriptions!! I like your style and you have done well dealing with the foreign names so Americans can understand you!
Great way to go shopping while never leaving the couch. Camera work distracting though (gives me vertigo). I'd work at holding it a little steadier and pan more slowly. People need time to take in details when seeing something for the first time.
Yes! I have a friend who used hers in her nursery with a changing pad plopped right on top! It's so long that there's still 1/2 a dresser for other necessary items!
I love IKEA! I have an IKEA kitchen. It’s awesome! I also just redid my craft room. It’s all done with IKEA too! Both spaces are stunning. Everyone loves both and compliments us on those spaces. High quality too!
My Ikea is 8 min from me! Did you ever have the vanilla frozen Sunday with the berry sauce? So delicious! Sometimes I’ll just run in there just for that 💖
My mom is an interior designer and she instilled a love of IKEA in me. I currently live 2 hours from the nearest one and go about once every other month, just to walk around for 3-4 hours
I buy most of my Christmas candles and always paper napkins at Ikea. Great quality and stylish. I still have lamps bought at Ikea 20 years ago in Germany that still look stylish.
There's an Ikea near where I live, and I have fallen in love with Ikea! It's my new toy store, lol. I now have an attractive craft room. Instead of ugly organized, its now lovely organized, in my opinion. 😊
Wow, love this video. Ikea is my,jam. I get my white sheer curtains there. They are super long if you like them to pool, and they are made to cut to length. Super affordable for white sheers. You get two panels for like 3.99. I cut them to different lengths and outfitted my entire, house for like 25.00.
Just got a large order delivered. The nearest IKEA is 233 miles away in Kansas. But the delivery guys out of Oklahoma said my order came from from the Texas store, 333 miles from me in Arkansas.
Our closest IKEA is about four hours away. Maybe in the spring we take a day trip. There are a couple of things I need to tame my “stuff”. And throw rugs... there just aren’t anything in the stores around here and mine are ready to pitch. I used to get mine from a little Swedish lady who would weave them on a huge loom in her back shed in the summer but I only have one of these left and I keep it on top of the dryer. Thanks for sharing. ☮️❤️☕️-Kirsten
I just bought two Hemnes shoe cabinets and installed them side by side in my laundry room to hide all my hangers- because I just hate the eye clutter hangers create. I was surprised and very happy that all my hangers fit into one drawer. All my vacuum attachments fit into another drawer, including the longer attachments. And the other two drawers hold all my cleaning cloths, etc. I’m really happy with the amount of storage it gave me. And it is so narrow that it really didn’t cramp my laundry room at all.
Thank you for sharing. I would encourage everyone to support your local artists and not buy your art at big box stores. Artist's need your support especially due to the pandemic. Make sure the lighting takes bulbs you can buy anywhere.
