- In DARK PHOENIX, the X-MEN face their most formidable and powerful foe: one of their own, Jean Grey. But since FC and the changes in DOFP it should have happen even with Quicksilver relationship with Magneto in Apocalypse (which story and character development should have been handled more carefully) despite the fact in the comics he is adoptive son along with his sister Wanda.

I am going to be cautiously optimistic for this movie. With this being the last X-Men movie before Marvel takes back the rights I really hope that it is good. At least for the sake of those of us who have stuck with this franchise for the last 19 years.

For example Scott got his optic blast in 1979 (iirc) in the original but in the original timeline but for some reason it was delayed to 1983 in the revised

Whatever Disney decide to do with X-Men, I will always have a special place for this X-Men in my heart. I'll never forget the likes of hugh Jackman as wolverine, James McAvoy and Patrick Stewart as xaiver and Michael fassbender and Ian McKellen as magneto.

No X-men movie past or present will ever beat First class or Days of Future Past, both were so compelling (plot wise) and entertaining. I’m worried Disney will water the topic down too much with humor. Fox did an excellent job because they kept the movies serious (with occasional funny moments). Plus Fox’s X-men universe is honestly refreshing compared to the same themes and tones and layout that the MCU has throughout their movies.

They caused the multiple delays in the movie release forced all the reshoots coz they realised they'd copied it all with their Captain Marvel storyline. Disney and Marvel will absolutely never make better xmen movies than X2, Days of Future Past, Deadpool and Logan!!! Oh and the last 15 mins of xmen apocalypse and dark Phoenix are more source material accurate thsn Civil war, infinity war and Endgame combined!!!

Watching this movie again made me realized that the movie wasn't even as bad as they say it was. It was pretty dark and a really good movie. Just had a bunch of flaws but it was still amazing. It just didn't deserve the hate it got.

Kavita Bhone quicksilver has always been my favorite even when I used to read the comics
Although this movie seemed to disappoint a lot out there, personally I loved it. The Magneto fight scene on the train was awesome. Phoenix was one of my favorite characters growing up when watching X-Men on FoX every Saturday morning. Shes supposed to be very powerful. I just wished they had put more into her fight scene in the end... it was good, but a bit short, I wanted to see more. Cant wait to see the next one, we all know the Pheonix will rise again. Maybe to help the X-Men fight a new villan or villans... Onslaught? Omega red? Mr. Sinister? AVENGERS?
They better please the majority of moviegoers next time. I also think this is the best X-Men movie ever but movie fans tends to like superheroe movies with alot of action & fight scenes. The X-Men movies seems more dramatic and seems to target to get an Oscar than to attract moviegoers.
There was a lot I enjoyed about this movie, but it also felt extremely rushed. The villain was atrocious

I figure that’s going to be early on in the movie but that’s still a major spoiler.
They didn't show a body. More to the point there should be no body if The Phoenix kills anyone. Remember that Scott disintegrated in X-3. Mystique has a very powerful mutation and I don't think she can be easily killed.
I think Jean kills Jubilee, who always manages to make a cameo, accidentally and that's who is in the grave. They were legitimately friends at the school after all.
