Yep I expect Natashias "Sister" will be the new Black Widow in the Avengers team. Will probably turn up at avengers HQ at the start of the movie and then tell this story. This is good because Florence Pugh is an excellent actress.
I saw this movie today and as always Scarlett is stunning, so cool especially Florence! She is marvelous. I hope to see her more in another movies.

Wow this movie was really well done. I actually shed a tear or two. Easily one of the best Marvel movies of all time. I really can't remember being this impressed with the cast, the screenplay, the dialogue, the action, everything about it was perfecto.
Scarlett is 35 and Rachel is 50. It's official, Rachel Weisz doesn't age.

The events of this will be a serious foreshadow for the next phase of Marvel
Nope. She was not as popular until endgame and so there wouldn’t have been as much interest in this movie
Considering her 'family' is in this, she deserved it far earlier than endgame. But i suspect it's done to foreshadow what shapes the next phase, for example belova might succeed her in the avengers.

I always felt like they were also honoring her at the Tony funeral. After all they had a lot of common friends and acquaintances

I’ve watched this movie about 10 times since it’s release and I can’t get enough of it. Natasha is my favourite character from the MCU and I really wish she got her own franchise like the other members. Black Widow was better than the entire Thor franchise combined.

She was so good! didnt know her before this movie, but will definitely be following her from now on. Such a great casting choice for Yelena. She's easily one of my top 5 MCU characters now. Any future shows or movies Yelena is in I'm there!
Also, as a Russian, her Russian accent was also good. She didn't overdo it like so many actors and it ended up sounding pretty realistic.

Doing the black widow movie now is more of a let down or draw back. If you can even call it russain accent. Seriously, no one in america can hear the differences between a real accent and a clearly fake one? Get actors who know a bit of russian or know how to make a good accent playing those russian roles. Those accent are always so fake and over-the-top.
In the black widow's prelude, Ross explained to the councilwoman that Natasha can pose as an american or imitate any accent perfectly after she told him that all along she didn't think Natasha was Russian because she didn't have an accent.
She is probably the only person in the avenger team with absolutely no power,and still the strongest face it she deserves her own movie....

I'm pretty sure that Black Widow does have powers. Just not as flashy as the others. She was given a type of serum made by Russians scientists that slowed her ageing, giving her superhuman durability and slight more human strength and agility. Then the red room shaped her into what she ended up as.
Yeah. And also the only female character that's originally from the avengers. Original members are: Tony Stark, Captian America, Bruce Banner, Natasha Romanoff, and Clint Barton.
@akil boy 2 It's been awhile since I have read any of the comics and don't know if the movies will go with her having powers. But Yes it was a serum similar to the super soldier one. After Captain America came about in WW2 everyone tried to copy it with different success but never being as good as Caps Serum. Like how Bucky came about with Hydra or how Bruce Banner tried to copy it but ended up the Hulk. Only the Black Widows serum was different in not making a super solder but more of a sleeper agent and spy. Her powers were more for that type of life then as a soldier. Then the Red Room shaped her powers more so by training them to be what they are. Like I said her powers aren't as flashy outside of her slower ageing and durability.
This movie was AMAZING, I saw it the first day it came to theaters. But I'm kinda disappointed that we didn't get to see them as a kid in the Red Room. I will still give it a five stars!

this is a 95% trailer. It has storylines I want to follow - it's a good storyline. Some parts of it - I'm trying to like - it's a little hard. I do like in the end what it's about - worth some watch in a motivating way.

Ivan will be first introduce in Black Widow movie as one of the main villains but he will be revealed to be a Eternal and Natasha's father in the "Eternals" movie !
At the end of Eternals Thena trade her life for the life of her daugther Natasha in vormir !

That's makes BLACK WIDOW A FULL BLOODED ETERNAL IN THE MCU ! Natasha will return after the black widow movie in the Eternals ! Always believed that there’s a reason the Black Widow solo film is supposed to kick off the epic, cosmic events of Marvel’s Phase 4. But what business does the decidedly human heroine have in this universe of gods, aliens and mythical lore? intriguing name that gets dropped minutes before Natasha’s death. Red Skull calls her “daughter of Ivan”, and Natasha comments that he must be telling the truth, because she didn’t even know her father’s name. While there are any number of Ivan so-and-so’s associated with Natasha in the comics, there’s also another character who goes by that name, who has a connection to the events about to unfold in the MCU: Ivan Druig is the alias that Druig, an Eternal (who will be played by Barry Keoghan in The Eternals), takes when he impersonates a sadistic Russian KGB officer and the leader of a small Soviet state named Vorozheika. That makes her a demigod - similar to how Peter Quill was revealed to be the son of a living planet. they might have an interest in resurrecting Natasha maybe even giving her new powers in the process. Natasha could hold her own in the next phase of the MCU, while her film would have a major tie-in to The Eternals that would help to get audiences excited for that film.
