‘ਵਾਰਿਸ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ’ ਜਥੇਬੰਦੀ ਦੇ ਮੁਖੀ ਅਮ੍ਰਿਤਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਕੁਝ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਾਥੀ ਨੂੰ ਛੁਡਵਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਅਜਨਾਲਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਥਾਣੇ ਦਾ ਘਿਰਾਓ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਘਿਰਾਓ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਮ੍ਰਿਤਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਗੁਰੂ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੀ ਸਵਾਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਜਾਣ ਉੱਤੇ ਸਵਾਲ ਖੜ੍ਹੇ ਕੀਤ ਗਏ ਸਨ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਖਾਲਿਸਤਾਨ, ਅਜਨਾਲਾ ਹਿੰਸਾ ਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਮਸਲਿਆਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਰੱਖੇ ਹਨ।

let's see if your statement will still hold value after this. There is no crime worse than treason. He is not an intellectual, just a fairly good orator. He portrays Sikhs as the victim in the same time warns the govt to try and stop what they're doing. Had he been only against drug lords every Indian would have supported him like we're supporting Sonam Wangchuk but he is against the nation which no Indian will ever entertain. He talks about Kashmir referendum, Tamil referendum which clearly shows if he really is not funded by any interested party. Talks of Maharaja Ranjit Singh Ji's rule where Hindus and Muslims thrived but will he allow Maa Durga and Hanuman Ji's symbol on the official flag of Khalistan like Maharaja did! Will he build temples and visit those to pray like Maharaja did! Will he ban cow slaughter and make it the punishable offence of highest degree like Maharaja did! Moreover, will the Canadian and British Sikh who support these type of ideas leave their luxurious lifestyles to permanently settle in a landlocked country like Khalistan with its two enemies on either sides! Will Khalistan be a kingdom like Maharaja's time period or will it be a democracy? If a Kingdom who will be the king and if a democracy would it allow for the Hindus and Muslims of Punjab who are almost half of Punjab, to form a separate homeland leading to further division of Punjab! Will he allow all Sikhi sects like Udasi, Nirmala, Nanakpanthi, Sahajdhari, Namdhari Kuka, Nirankari and Sarvaria to survive in Khalistan? The answer to all these questions is plain and simple NO!!!!! This idea of separate country for a religion is a line to line copy of the formation of Pakistan and we all know how well it is doing. BHARAT is a massive country with more diversity than any other country in the world. When you live in such a diverse country, the difference in opinions is eminent but that doesn't mean everybody should take their share of land and break away. WE SHOULD LEARN TO ADAPT AND EVOLVE. It's brought the word ' Democracy " into light and big questions in front of the audience. Sikhs were a sovereign state during maharaja Ranjit Singh ji raj, HINDUS and muslims got sovereignty by slicing Sikhs state and left us in limbo, you created a problem for Sikhs and now you want answers from us ??
The Sikh state had been defunct for a century by the time of independence. Punjab was sliced by Sikhs themselves under the leadership of the lunatic Master Tara Singh. Nawab Khizer Hayat Khan Tiwana wanted outright independence for the united Punjab but he had no partners.

The BBC have done tremendous work in India in recent times. The documentaries on Modi & interviews like this. Sardar Amritpal Singh is an example of how the Indian state will never silence Sikh aspirations no matter how much force they use. They used to say the Indians that we have finished this movement immediately after the 1984 attack. They failed to realise it was just the beginning.

My respect is for Mr bai Amritpal Singh because he is an intellectual and brave person he stands against druglords and other criminals
there is no crime worse than treason. He is not an intellectual, just a fairly good orator. He portrays Sikhs as the victim in the same time warns the govt to try and stop what they're doing. Had he been only against drug lords every Indian would have supported him like we're supporting Sonam Wangchuk but he is against the nation which no Indian will ever entertain. He talks about Kashmir referendum, Tamil referendum which clearly shows if he really is not funded by any interested party. Talks of Maharaja Ranjit Singh Ji's rule where Hindus and Muslims thrived but will he allow Maa Durga and Hanuman Ji's symbol on the official flag of Khalistan like Maharaja did! Will he build temples and visit those to pray like Maharaja did! Will he ban cow slaughter and make it the punishable offence of highest degree like Maharaja did! Moreover, will the Canadian and British Sikh who support these type of ideas leave their luxurious lifestyles to permanently settle in a landlocked country like Khalistan with its two enemies on either sides! Will Khalistan be a kingdom like Maharaja's time period or will it be a democracy? If a Kingdom who will be the king and if a democracy would it allow for the Hindus and Muslims of Punjab who are almost half of Punjab, to form a separate homeland leading to further division of Punjab! Will he allow all Sikhi sects like Udasi, Nirmala, Nanakpanthi, Sahajdhari, Namdhari Kuka, Nirankari and Sarvaria to survive in Khalistan? The answer to all these questions is plain and simple NO!!!!! This idea of separate country for a religion is a line to line copy of the formation of Pakistan and we all know how well it is doing. BHARAT is a massive country with more diversity than any other country in the world. When you live in such a diverse country, the difference in opinions is eminent but that doesn't mean everybody should take their share of land and break away. WE SHOULD LEARN TO ADAPT AND EVOLVE. This needs to have English subtitles to reach a wider audience. There is some serious hard truths in this content. The fact that the Indian constitution does not recognise Sikhs as an independent dharma separate from Hinduism no Sikhs should be compelled to call themselves as Indians. When the Indian state does not recognise Sikhs as sovereign than Sikhs should not recognise India.
