I'm so happy to see my Lizardmen performing so well! It was a joy to watch all the other factions and watch how well everyone competed. I'm new to Total war, and to the warhammer series. So it was a great time!
@@cooldudecs I like watching RTS, but when playing I prefer turn-based (civ5/6 or Endless Legend) or single-player with adjustable game-speed (eu4, ck2 etc). My apm is horrible and dont like to get stressed by unit-micro etc. I did like "Battle for Middle-Earth 2" quite a bit, that fact alone, that resources get gathered automatically by buildings is a big relief. ^^

Great performance by most players, really sad about the Lizardmen, Taco did some awesome come backs, especially the first game against Satsuma was breath taking, he could have pulled out another one at the final. Glad to see Bretonnia do well. The Dwarfs could perform better though, hopefully we will see them in another tournament.
Turin, for an idea for a tournament you could do teams of two like (Brittonia and Empire vs Vampire counts and coast) and (Norsca and Chaos vs Dwarves and wood Elves) and (Dark Elves and Beastmen vs Lizardmen and High Elves) and ( Greenskins and Skaven vs Tomb Kings and a mystery faction) I thought would be exciting Also, loved your stream keep on making these awesome vids :)

Problem would be connectivity at that point unfortunately, but the concept sounds really fun. Such a format would probably require more restrictions though. Like only x amount of y unit per side, not just per player; no ducplicate Legendaries or RoRs, maybe just one named LL... Either way, I fear the technical side of the setup would be the real limiting factor, even though I very much enjoy the premise of a 2v2 (or even 3v3) where players specialise in some aspect of the battlefield... *On paper* it sounds exciting... . 31:00 I'm 100% certain that even if the spider came back the orks still would have lost. That thing was at 600 hp and would have eaten 1-2 shots from the bastiladon before it could charge it.
F for the fallen Dawi. Thunderers would have ripped those cav instead of running in circles trying to get into range. The irondrakes would have been clutch vs mammoths though and I can see why having one would be good, but not three. A cannon and two thunderers would have been better here I think. Anti-large on the cannon for monsters at long range and then ap thunders for the skirmisher threats.
imperator with those empire armies delivered on the composition we saw steam tanks, we saw greatswords, demigryphs shame they didn't make it work the second battle but daaaaaamn that got me hyped

Why would anyone use Alith Anar when there are Peclis and the Pigeon Queen. It doesn’t seem like High Elf player really wanna win in the faction wars. I see they’d rather meme than win
I'd love to see a faction war type style where you have to keep the same army every fight. Bracket randomized with no announcement before armies are locked in. It would test the ability to fight any enemy, and knowledge of all factions.
I gotta say, Hadres as Skaven destroying the Coast in the semifinal was the cleanest warhammer 2 performance I have ever seen. Every spell and every engagement was spot on, just wanna highlight the non-existence of the 2 syreen units in the game due to really nasty pestilent breaths whilst winning all over the map simultaneously. Murder-Kill dead things yes-yes!
it hurt watching the vampire count player not use those wraiths to peel apart greatswords and send the graveguard into the blob-fight like "oh i brought one of the best elite infantry slayers in the game, i should hunt spears with these and let my own elite infantry be slaughtered!" there were at least three chances for the wraiths to dig into greatswords from behind, and they just never did, my poor poor heart
I'm curious what Xiphos was expecting to happen with that WE build. I'm hardly a TW expert, but what vamp coast build does that actually stand a chance against?
I have seen the Druchii's foot soldiers blob lost before, against Empire, I don't think this build can win vs specialised Cav factions, any correction?

I fell like after main faction loses, subfactions should be able to use all lords (as it is probably higher in ladder and its called Faction wars such handicap is lowering one player(faction) capabilities without true reason)
Hm now that Greenskins have gotten their DLC, I would be kinda up for a Bretonia DLC. Bretonia has some interesting mechanics in campaign, but they are also a little out of date. Certainly could use some love.

That Empire build in the first stage countered the Vampires before the battle started
Nothing else shows more how Warhammer II Total War Multiplayer is played as 2 manticore summons rampaging into each other.

They're really good, and can handle pretty much everyone relatively well.
