Also a tip for milking insane gold and research rate: you will have insane amounts of battle wizard so try to recruit as many as you can with the noble trait. Then send them to perform steal technology actions against enemy settlements. This will allow you to level them up and have them grant you 3 turns of bonus research rate each time you succed, stacking indefinitely and capping at +35% research each. The 3 turns stack so if you, say succed 3 times in a row you'll get the bonus for 7 turn (9 minus 2 because you need to take 2 turns after the first one). Level up prioritizing steal tech, specialist and boost income in that order. Once you are satisfied with the amount of research gained and have got 3 point in boost income shove them in your most profitable region, possibly integrated into the "army" of a lord with the noble trait. Said lord should have no units, he is just there to make you extra cash. Top it all off by using them as caddies for items and followers giving you extra income, extra taxes, extra commerce etc... (the best one is Marienburg item, the Staadstrat's key, which is just like the Sthalberg letter but instead of keeping corruption in check it is made to get extra money). You can also mix in a couple knowledgeable wizard: you lose on the 10% extra gold from the noble trait but get the juicy +5WoM for all armies. In the end each wizard you can use this way will give you - +35% extra gold for the local province - +35% extra research rate for whatever amount of turns you want to stack on them - a LOT of love from the enemy of the faction you keep stealing tech from, like, seriously insane amounts - can put on them followers for extra public order or untainted TL;DR: @Turin put on a wizard farm and rake in insane cash and research (last playthrough I had Altdorf produce over 15k gold per turn and my research rate was over 400% for a while).
@@ingold1470 heroes do not affect supply lines. It's basically what he is already doing with his two mages in Sylvania but on a bigger scale. Even just 3 noble wizards and 2 knowledgeable will boost his gold by a lot and give him 10 WoM. Having a governor lord however will increase supply lines, but the cost can be recouped easily by stacking a the possible income buffs he can get (that however requires conquering Marienburg since it gives you the best money making item and furter buffs if you make the lord the elector count of Marienburg)
Nice change to see campaigns without cheese overload (I like Legend Of TW too, but cheese and doomstack gets old quick, these more diverse tactics "à la multiplayer" are more interesting). Looking forward to a H2H campaign.
Man I would just love for a lore of metal spell that has stronger effects the higher the armor of the unit has. 80 Armor Units? Gelt: ARMOR MELTS TASTE GOLD MAGICS
I usually get bored after watching a campaign stream for a few episodes but this campaign just keeps getting better and better. Gelt is going beast mode and raining down holy fire upon the heathens of the old world!
Your Gelt all powder quest battle reminded me of my Azhag campaign. I attacked Lvl 5 Altdorf w 2 BOB’s, some orc boys, 3 trolls, and like three archers. And let me tell you, azhag had 15 health, and I had to rotate popping the BOB immune to psych ability for the trolls so they could kill the demis. Ended up only winning Bc if the 4th Wah caused a final terror route. But I agree, each big battle should be fair game for either side!
Hey @Turin, in case you didn't do the quick mathSS - if you spend 1 more point in plague of rust - the basic spell becomes free to cast = very big value imho ^_^
The dwarves were not happy that you were creating gold mines across numerous battlefields. Gold is meant to be mined from hills and mountains. Not orc hides. This is the ultimate sacrilege to dwarven kind.
@@turinRTS In that case Creative Assembly really are idiots. A five minute Google search will tell you that the Knight's of Morr specialize in destroying undead. Oh well, not angry at you Turin, thanks for the video.

Just so you know, causing terror makes you immune to terror and fear, so it's actually a buffed immune to psychology that helps them fight undead by making them immune to terror bombs and also allows them to terror rout living enemies. So the Knights of Morr are actually better equipped to fight undead AND living units, they just don't have any special damage bonus or other gimmick.
3:32:48, you get the agent that boosts income and your projected income doesn’t change. Then you upgrade their boost income by 9% and it goes down?? This is truly beyond science

Gelt: ARMOR MELTS TASTE GOLD MAGICS
Im enjoying this series soooooo much, daddy Gelt is truly an incredible character in the robotic hands of Turin ;)
I think you transmuted so much things into gold, gold value must have started to fall and that's why Barak Varr decided to wage war on you

That win against the beastmen was great play! Wolfric Gausser-ungorbane
Damn Balthasar should have just hit Archaon with final transmutation during the End Times
This campaign is a good watch for sure. Gold daddy is putting in work.

Gelt cheesing in a corner
*GRUDGE INTENSIFIES*
I don’t know why but Ghorst’s line at 40:48 cracked me up so much.
With that thumbnail, ya gotta intro one of these streams with the old Flight of the Valkyries waiting music.
another classic total war "close victory" with a 3:1 casualty rate
This is the best old world empire campaign. What is it like 1 winds of magic for searing doom eventually 😂
What a beautiful morning coffe with your Gelt gameplay.
