Kent survival surely holds the crown for best bushcraft cook on UA-cam. Some of the food he makes on a campfire is unmatched. Well done sir.

I always enjoy your camp kitchen segments. Just because one is out "in the middle of nowhere" doesn't mean you have to eat like you live in a frat!! Very clever and relatively easy. Thanks Andy! Cheers!

Beautiful filming. Very artistic. The food looks yummy! It is great to see someone actually cooking food on a stove not just boiling water fast. I am impressed that you used the Spirit Burner to do all of this. Thanks!

Liked this change of pace video. The Trangia stove looks very handy in the outdoors. Prefer a ferro rod fire and a cooking stone. You should pen a camping cookbook or open an alpine restaurant. 👍

The Apple Crisp should be popular with the Scouts! Introducing young persons to smallish but handy Opinel knives should also be a lesson. So much camping turns out to be food preparation and water boiling! When I was that age, I still thought I needed a 'Deerslayer' sized knife to be 'camping.' I wasn't 'Out There' unless I had a big knife, a hatchet, and two canteens hanging from my belt!

@@jbradshaw4236 thanks for the comment and great point about a gas conversion kit, I hadn't thought of that. It's really up there for me, i went away camping for three days and virtually every meal I cooked i used the trangia, no regrets on the purchase👍cheers

@@charlesmciver897 great tip thanks! I'm 43 now so that makes mine 27 years old and as good as new! I did here that they changed the quailty of the metal/aluminium a while back so I gaurd mine like the crown jewels. It has sentimental value as my late mother bought me mine. I only tend to use it when car camping these days other out for a short walk with my son/family : instead I use the trangia triangle which I think is the best stove I've ever used for trekking at low altitudes.
