Это пожалуй самое зрелищное ката с саем и по структуре , и по техническому мастерству .Браво всем кто участвовал в этом проекте.Просто здорово.Это образец, эталон того как нужно вкалывать!

I agree. This is the best kata for the sai so far . Thanks for posting.

Awesome kata and performance. I guess I shouldn't be surprised, but I am, that two bozos actually had the nerve to give it a thumbs-down! Regardless of the two escaped mental patients who did dislike it, this is brilliant artistry and power!

I really like using Sai’s in Shotokan Kata. Use them in all the Kata I know. As far as Gangaku.

Nice. Really strong version of Yaka no sai with superb Kime. If anyhthing, I'd like to have seen it a little slower so I could see even more of the details which I know was there! It was so fast in places I missed it! Excellent. Strongest Sai kata I have seen.

when i was a kid, my mom always tells me never to play with sharp objects...but because by being warned, i became curious about the danger of sharp thing. so as a practitioner of Kobudo, i am learning this in the dojo that i go to. lol and so far, i've been stabbed by my own sai, yet.

A fine demonstration, the only critique I would have is dachi and embison. He seemed to be rushing through a bit which is why he finished a bit far from where he started.

    • @KARATEbyJesse

Este Kata es casi idéntico a Hamahiga No Sai. Es otra version del mismo o se trata como otro Kata? Si alguien puede ayudarme...

One thing that I been concern about is that the Sai was just a fishing tool. Was not really a weapon. It was like a Trident. As we know that the peasant society were not allowed to wear Katanas. And we’re at the mercy of The Samurai. Why we have some of the weapons in Japanese Martial Arts. The Sai being use as a hand held weapon against a Katana. There are very important hand placement on the Sai. That I feel are unrealistic. As I use my Sai’s that is my focus. Against a Katana. You have to really understand that or lose finger, hand and arm. Just curios on that Jesse.

I've always thought Hamahiga no Sai and Yaka no Sai were pretty similar too. This was a really good example of the latter.
