2024 now, just having my 24th birthday and remember this series, come to find this OST.
In episode 2, the Father went to bank in the end, and find out Bankruptcy and their family went to poor in the future.
Guess what, I am a Chinese, and our biggest Real Estate Company [恒大] just Declare bankruptcy, Unfinished high-rise buildings have become dead cities with no one buying them. Construction workers cannot get their wages back. The middle class who pre-purchased properties have fallen back into poverty overnight, and the small banks and local governments that lent them money have gone bankrupt one after another.
I'm scard dude. it looks like my country is not gonna surviving the Malthusian Trap, or The middle-income trap, I don't know economics, just now, I am more pessimistic than ever before.

Can we have this future instead of the one we’re living in now?
only if people had brain cells like the 60s
1:09 didn’t age well, did it?
Yh
They knew about the Queen. R.I.P.
Really weird that the year was spot on
I’m shocked that they got right the day the Queen died
Can't understand how I missed this. Is it still possible to watch the whole thing somewhere?
This is a brilliant montage (and an amazing score to go over the top). Russell T Davies doesn't have a great strike rate so far in his predictions though! Trump being returned for a second term, and no mention whatsoever of a global pandemic. And as the UK General Election was only held in December 2020, I can't see there being another one as soon as May 2022.
This was written back in early/mid 2019 so he was working with the information we had then, we didn't know there was going to be another election as soon as 2020. Also in terms of a pandemic, in the final episode there is a mention of a "monkey flu" outbreak on the news
Revisiting on Sept 2022…noticing how 2:16 aligned …😥

How insane Russell T Davies predicted the Queens death in 2022!
Crazy how somehow he was able to even imagine how being well into her 90s she might possibly die of old age within a few years
The show got write the year Queen Elizabeth died and Roe versus Wade being overturn… Fuck what else do they have right
