Josh Dun basically that Shia doesn’t seem the type to take care that the inside of his car is neat. he’s a mess, and doesn’t have his shit together, and the interior of his car, as a reflection of this, is probably really messy and disorderly, with junk everywhere. Adam Prince they'd be great at the globes. The weirdness of it would totally work for them, especially as a duo. The oscars is too mainstream for them to host all of, it's not their audience. I do think they could be killer presenting at the oscars though.
@craisins 86 No he didn't...I saw that one report of a woman on his crew being uncomfortable with dick jokes they told, but that's all I've seen as far as harassment....don't hang him bc of heresay.
Sandy Trust me, they will. Especially after this. Us fans of the 2, have been enjoying their comedy for years. But theyre now getting widely known. Expect to see more of the team of Mulaney and Kroll!
Dude you stole my joke lol “You mean to tell me that sex addiction is like Heroin or cocaine or ice or like betting on the ponies or like when somebody likes to eat too many cheeseburgers”
He's very self-conscious about the way he does stuff. He's an impeccable actor, but I think that's sadly due to his insecurities and to some extent due to his relationship with his mother, afaik she's an authoritative person. Regardless, anyone can tell that his craft is meticulously perfected. Love the guy.
The thing he does at 1:16, where he scratches under his eye and his mouth falls open -- would you say that was planned and rehearsed? (I'm leaning towards yes, though I'm not certain.)
@@unequalledflame i would definitely say its rehearsed. Actors will think about little things and ticks their character might decide to do to add to the scene, and the jaw drop and scratching helps the delivery of his line be percieved as carelessness hiding anxiety - "its a lateral move 😬" and then the throw of the hand. Its genius. It couldve been rehearsed or also added in at that moment but it works for the delivery of the line and makes it just a tad more funnier :)
“I bet when Shia makes a hard left a lot of stuff slides around in his car” This monologue is so clever and casually epic. And Kroll’s laugh?! Adorable
Specifically i love this so much bc they are so constant in their joke telling like they are really face paced and just one after another and they don't stop at any point to let the audience take a breather you can't help but laugh bc they don't stop and it all just flows together
I love Jimmy Kimmel, but if he decides not to host the Oscars again next year, can John and Nick host it? I think they've got the shot. I can't stop laughing at their monologue 🤣
1:35 John Mulaney made a joke about the 2024 Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award, far in the future. Well I'm just here, 7 years later, after the actual 2024 Jean Hersholt award was given out - to Michelie Satter, a film exec for Sundance. Nothing to comment about, just found it fascinating we're finally at the point in the future they were referring to

far too much tuna
It was a medically inadvisable amount of tuna 🐟
Watch their 92nd St Y interview, in character, with John Oliver. Soooooo good.
It makes sense when you remember that Nick Kroll is a human thrown away condom.
