Very nice review man, i advice you to use a top coat (flat or gloss it's your choise), it will gave a model a more realistic style and it will protect all decals and stickers!
The backpack is really the only part I dislike on the Shenlong EW.... When I look to Deathscythe, the Sandrock, and come on!, we can't even mention Wing! Haha. Great review as always :).
What do you think is the second best of the ew kits I already have heavy arms d-hell and the wing zero TV version (proto) and I'm debating between this and the sandrock for my next kit but I can't decide
all five of these gundams are not from the endless waltz series. These are the Gundam Wing series styles. All of the endless waltz gundams were given the term custom on the end of their designations for that series. Plus they were not even the same colors... Heavy arms was not red in the endless waltz series..They still look great though, you did a great job building them and the paint job is awesome.
skyoneasassin These are Endless Waltz redesigns pre-movie, as they made an Endless Waltz manga as well. The versions that you see in the film are the custom ones, you're right, but these are tweaked, more modern designs than their anime counterparts. This is most noticeable in the Wing Gundam back there. Seriously, look at that dude.
i picked this up back and january, one of my favorite kits and i only have about 15 kits total. i cant wait to see if bandai will make a mg nataku, it will be even better, i want to get another one of these and paint it in the nataku color skeme i think it would look pretty cool basically a version of it without it main weapons though i was thinking a small beam saber and his shield.
The video of shenlong is my favorite because u have all five of the original gundams which is what I started watching which for me hooked on the model kits. My question for u is I'm just starting my collection and want a more challenging model and more better looking one. Would u suggest master grade to me and what one should I start with

For my first model kit I got EW Heavyarms, and there was only 1 step I had trouble with but after 2-5 minutes I figured it out. Other then that the only thing I had troubles with was the stickers and markings which was explained in this video. I would go with Heavyarms because it was overall easy to build and the kit had a lot of details compared to some other kits.
Do you have any ideas as to why we havent gotten master grades of the Altron, heavy arms custom, or sandrock custom bandai sure is taking their sweet time releasing them when two are complete remolds with different colors and accessories
this is the sort of kit that you don't put on an action base. typically, gundams who fly or are in space alot deserve action bases. like the unicorn, or the freedom, or the aile strike, or the 00 raiser.
question, why is this set called ew when they don't look like the endless waltz ova at all, they just look like modified versions of the original anime?
There's a rerelease manga called ew glory of losers,these gundams are the resigned versions of the original 5 gundams.So EW isn't just referring to the OVA versions and but the manga release versions as well.
I feel like an IDIOT I have been fiddling with water for those last time I tried, I thought dry transfer just meant non sticky there was one I've been wanting to put on the Wing Gundam's shield if I'd known it was that easy I would have done it a long time ago
I'm still puzzeled why trez kruzrenada killed himself fighting wu fuie against the Altron Gundam. Between you and me if Wu fuei used his dragon fangs against the TallGeese 2 he would have dominated the tall geese 2.
heavyarms is a bit of an overrated design if you ask me. it looks sorta like an ugly tiger. i think that the wing gundam and the shenlong were really the only two i liked. i guess the deathscythe was alright, but the sandrock and the heavyarms were a little too eh.

That is a great tip using the tape on the dry transfers. i wish did that with my other kits.

u can also use a qtip for the decals

This kit is over all rather nice althought its not among my favorite kits from MG EW line.
I use a non sharpened pencil and rub it everywhere. xD Toothpicks are good too. However it may consume more time than the ds stick or pencil.

Would a Galaxy Note II stylus work fine?
No not really. The extension doesn't look an extension at all. I comes no where near resembling the show.
