Tallgeese is not a superpowered Leo. Leo is an underpowered Tallgeese. Tallgeese was too expensive to make and too powerful for regular pilots to handle. So corners were cut to make it cheap, standarized, and easy to maneuever. Thus the Leo was born. Plus, Tallgeese was the template from which Gundams were created.
EXCELLENT review, sir. I just finished an MG RX-72, and now I think I'm going for the Tallgeese. Both are my absolute favorite Mobile Suits because of the beauty in their simplicity.
Great work mate! Do you mind sharing what brand of “clear blue” was used for the eyes? I tried Tamiya Clear Blue (TS-72) and it turned out to be too dark of a shade of blue.
the famous trez pose mostly dosen't work with this Mobile suit because the dober gun on this one had a slightly longer barrel. Treiz sacrificed a bit of length on the barrel for a bit more stopping power and made the gun shorter, so the pose works.
I got the impression that he liked it when he said things like how the eyes were perfect, the neat separation mechanics the parts have and how they move, and he said things like "pretty cool effect" "excellent weapon" et cetera
Fantastic review man! Thank you so much! I got this kit after watching your review and I am really enjoying it and to be honest it is my very first Master Grade. :) Keep it up! Wishing you a happy new year! (y)
i went ahead and did a tv version repaint. once i had the thruster pods on, it was just too much grey for my tastes, and i wasn't a huge fan of that yellow. great work and great review!
recently I got one of this and I really like it. Its net and awsome. also I dont have any back heavy issue like yours. It still standing good even pull the big gun backward.
The web shop tallgeese has an extra instruction to do the treize pose. Pull out the barrel, and there's a pieceatthe end that is squarish. Remove it, and the gun will be short enough for the Treize pose.
Would be cool if he did it, though if you need an overview of the kit, prime92 and kakarot197 have both looked at the kit for videos. it'd be cool to see Jabman's take, though, or if he customed it.
Hey jabman, I just recently purchased a MG tallgeese of my own, I saw your video, and I really loved the way the matte black turned out on your kit. I was wanting to do a TV version of the Tallgeese myself and was wondering if you could suggest or show me how you painted your kit. I also just recently bought an Infinite justice but i wanted to do a custom matte black/grey custom paint on it , painting it the same way you did this kit. Thanks for your time and hope to hear from you soon!!!
What do you use to paint the grey parts darker, ive been bulding gunpla since i first jumped in with a perfect grade wing zero custom (when they first came out), but ive only ever felt the need to do panel lining until now, I would love to get the light grey parts the same color and texture that you have but have literally no experience painting and i dont want to ruin my kit. Any help or advice would be appreciated.
Great review. You've inspired me to order it. Could you tell us what brand paint you used and the exact colors? I definitely want to make those verniers darker. Thanks!
Can I ask you a gundamn question? Did it ever really piss you off that Neo was pretty trolling on the show with commercials pretending that there was a defender of destiny show?
Actually that comment is really dead on, according to the Anime the Tallgeese was actually the prototype leo, this is all explained in episode three where you see Zechs take the incomplete Tallgeese from the Corsica Base

Nice review. Highly appreciated. I will include this Mg on my wishlist.
Jabman, buddy, you should have made the vents on the chest a gold color! A good middle ground between silver and yellow.
That would be interesting debate which Char clone (or man himself in that matter) has best mullet ever.
The EW MG collection is just so amazing.
EXCELLENT review, sir.

I use the same brand, the trick with the clear colors is put on very very light coats, if you put on too much it gets real dark real quick
i want a tallgeese ver ka, use your connections and make it happen jabman lol

Great work bro! Finally after how many years there is a mg of this guy!
I got the impression that he liked it when he said things like how the eyes were perfect, the neat separation mechanics the parts have and how they move, and he said things like "pretty cool effect" "excellent weapon" et cetera

hey jabman is this a kit that would recommend for someone like my self who only has the use of one hand. but wants to get into gunpla building.
i went ahead and did a tv version repaint. once i had the thruster pods on, it was just too much grey for my tastes, and i wasn't a huge fan of that yellow. great work and great review!
nice choice on changing the colors more toward the TV version Tallgeese. Its definitely more to my liking as well!! great review jabs!!
Could you get gunbarrel dagger
Amazing. You must do a tutorial on hand painting sometime. I would very much appreciate it.
Thanks for swapping the light grey for dark and showing us a TV version Tallgese. (close enough!)
I'm glad we're getting an RG for this.
recently I got one of this and I really like it. Its net and awsome. also I dont have any back heavy issue like yours. It still standing good even pull the big gun backward.
Great review! One question, do you recorded the voice after recorded the video?

How tall is this gundam when finished?
Around 18cm, shorter than jesta cannon, about 3 cm taller than F91
Lol old video I know but im just getting into this and I have a quick question. How did u paint this ? Brush or air brush ?
A combination of spray can and hand painting
Full Frontal has the best hair in Gundam. So soft and fluffy.
Would be cool if he did it, though if you need an overview of the kit, prime92 and kakarot197 have both looked at the kit for videos. it'd be cool to see Jabman's take, though, or if he customed it.

This does look pretty good. But I would definitely consider shelling out money for a MG Tallgeese III if they ever release one.
this looks really good, did you use flat coat on this?
that ending was perfect
you should do something special on your 100 Master Grade
MG Dynames or Arche would be amazing..
Such a pretty kit... Awesome review sir.
I still like this kit. And I still want a Tallgeese III come on Bandai get on it.
Did you use the stickers for the yellow stripes on the thruster packs or did you paint it? and if you did what did you use?

Trust me, it's only a matter of time before we see all customs and Tallgeese 3.
Thanks for posting this Jeff! Will you be reviewing II? The Tallgeese design is growing on me, those thrusters are bad ass ;7
how do you neatly apply your detail lines? those you did are awesome line work.
I just got this kit today
i was wondering which black paint did you use for the black armor
You know, i had completely negated in my head that both Zechs and Full Frontal have mullets until this video...
Was that out of a bottle with a brush? Airbrush? Or a spray can?
what is meant by webshop only? where do you buy these? is there any word on when the gundum wing customs are coming out?
Where is your review for the Limited Edition MG Tallgeese II?
The eyes look epic!!
How did you paint the gray part dark gunmetal Gray? Spray paint?
Why is there no Tallgeese 3 in MG form I wonder... I liked it's weapons and redesigned head a lot better.
Hey ***** I wanted to paint my Tallgeese model like yours. What paint, brushes, tools, brands, etc do you use?
Can I ask you a gundamn question? Did it ever really piss you off that Neo was pretty trolling on the show with commercials pretending that there was a defender of destiny show?
are you getting the sinanju stein ?
The beam rifle really is too long for the Treize pose even when it's folded up?
T___T why did I even order Tallgeese II
did you use ink wash to get the eyes blue?
Wait, I thought you already have the 00 Raiser, Trans Am Raiser and the 00 Gundam 7 Swords?
Wich scale, 1/144, Regular size or a 1/100?
1/100 scale
where did you get the kit because all most ever website is sold out or cost to much.
Fernando! ._. an other Hernandez Gundam fan? hell yeah!
Its 36 dollars on amazon
awesome tallgeese my man
how do you paint clear parts ?
Manz Manuel clear paint or sharpees on the back.
thanks! appreciate it.
Manz Manuel no problem!
BOOM!!! nice one sir.
Does tallgese a gundam, his face look like.
I don't know it'll .be better if you paint it red
lol, the Leo comment..
