Great models are also expensive, but worth the money. If, like me usually, it's a personal project with little budget, amateurs or new models may be a necessity.
8:34 off topic, but have you guys ever wonder why you are not allowed to go off trail - even to make a beautiful photoshoot like this? I mean for 99,99% of people they are just rocks...but have you really ever wondered?
What difference would it make if he shot at full power or a quarter power? That only applies to the photos HE’S shooting. Absolutely nothing to do with whatever you shoot in your own photos.
Why are all the shots of hands and arms? Why is the hand on the elbow, distracting and taking away all energy? Arms out in front of the body? Blue jacket fingers look like spiders. Why not shoot the model?
Model is very pretty but looks very unhappy. Same expression all day long. It would be helpful for her to study some pro models and how they create a story with there expressions. I'm not ragging on her because she's beautiful. But giving more to the camera is not only beneficial to her audience but greatly to her career. Send ing deep appreciation. F
again. not project for thge model .. use natural ligthing .. im sorry novision , no photography... fake ligthing is no treal.. bro .. keep your studio ligth in the studio ..
Its exaggerated because he wanted more like "magazine shots" , it could be more subtle and be a win-win situation. Controlled lightning will always be superior to any natural light...
I loved all the photos! But the rock , and the mountains in the background were my favorite!
Nice video! Great tips & shots. I know it's not a Westcott, but can you share what mono pole that you use?

FANTASTIC results.
Would have loved to see what the lights do individually on the last setup.
Thanks for the content! If you didn't have an assistant, would you bring a different kit?

she is absolutely beautiful. love the location too
Would love to know what the light pole is. Been looking for something to take on location.
If you mean the handheld boom with the ball on the end, that's a Photoflex LiteReach Plus as far as I can see ($157)
@@jpdj2715 thank you for that info
I have that exact same light pole, as well as the FJ400s. Can you explain how you attached the bottom light to the pule?
Ian attached a Super Clamp to the pole to add another mounting point. Thanks for watching!!
Can you tell me the name of the light pole?
What light pole is this?

I have 2 questions, 1.- what´s the name of type tripods that used ? 2.- what is the name of photographer and model? PLEASE
What light meter can I use with the FJ400 strobes?
Why are all the skies blown out?
Why is your shutter speed so low.. I thought it should be 1/200 for canon cameras when using strobes.
He was Controlling ambient with shutter speed he was also shooting at iso 50

It says how to light. But there's no information on how much light ( flash power ) on your photos?
