Great video, thank you. Can you tell me how much weight was used as counter on the easy boom? I just purchased one and the filled bags it comes with, is not countering a AD600 and softbox, so wanted to use the weight setup instead.
Canon needs to fix that. You shouldn’t have to tun the trigger off to check your ambient light. Sony has a setting that shows the real ambient light even when the trigger is on.
Ngl, Westcott has been on fire lately with the educational content 🎉 and this guy is in GOATED (Quantz and Brad Deel) territory in the Sportrait world
Thanks for having me!
Come back soon!

Fantastic video. Thank you for sharing
Great tutorial.
The reflection action shots are amazing! How can I achieve the same reflection effect?
The lower you are to the floor (with your camera) the better the reflection is in the floor.
Nice!
Great video….one question though: why crossing fill and main and not having the fill on axis?
Great video! What fog machine were you using?

Just curious - why high speed sync vs flash duration to freeze the action?
Same here... totally unnecessary!
Curious What camera-+lens were used? Is that a Z8+24-70mm f/2.8?
Thank you!
For that shot he was using a Z9 with 24-120 f/4
@ thank you

Nikon has that, too. It’s just quicker to turn the trigger off than find the setting in the menu to show live exposure.
You need a back light ! (not just a rim/skim light)
