We have a major problem we live in Northern Ireland and we only get to see the sun is when we are on holidays in Spain. Love your clips thanks for your time to make them.
Your sort of videos are way more interesting and educational than anything Hunting Aotearoa puts out Howie only farms it. Love your little dog Kiwi to keep up the good work. Yours are real bush and hunting in NZ and you should be getting paid for your Videos, opossum eradication and the fur.
Thanks for another great video mate. I’m going to be busy watching all your videos. Couldn’t think of a better way to spend time other than being in the bush. Great footage. Take it easy
Good fulla bruv I'll teach some of your tricks to our sons ,I'm just looking at getting into possuming lifestyle change over the hustle and busel nabours ECT lol
Thanks handsome keep em clips coming. I don't make it to the bush as often these days so really enjoy your no BS movies and was wondering where you'd gone. That bambi will fatten up beautiful to supplement your pantry : )
Is your name Clay is it ,hey mate you and your girl friend are some of the best hunters, & possum hunters iv seen on video real cool ,I did a lot of it in my younger days we never had the technology of today I live in the whirinaki forest minginui 1080 has slaughter the place 2018 1st we,ve come across 150 to like 250 lb wild boar 3 were dead from eating possum s and the 250 lb wasn' quite dead eaten a possum
16:23, wat makes that noise. I have been hearing it round my place, maybe a bit more screechy then that but def very similar. Creeped me out the first time. Would love to know what it is?
Just viewed your 3 possum trapping vids tonight. Awesome stuff. I use to trap in Marlborough 40yrs ago, lugging 120 the old style all steel traps, when on long lines. I loved hearing the possum calling out on your. I’d. It took me back to the bush. I use to do night shooting too. Also have eaten plenty of possum meat. In my eyes you are true kiwi hard case bushman. I learnt my bush craft from my Dad & Scouts. How did you get to be so knowledgeable? Cheers
Hey bro, was just curious what method do you use for finding you traps when covering large numbers of traps over a long distance, are you using a gps or just memory, cheers bro :)
My question is not connected to this exact video, but the one where you documented your teenage years as a possum hunter. In the videos the possums are moving When you start picking the fur. Why dont you koll them first to ease the suffering?
No one will ever match this Bushman …. Lives off the land but still has a heart and respect for Nature. Love your videos Mate. Top stuff. Carry on.

They are well dead before plucking, what you are seeing is just muscle twitching, which happens in most animals for a time after death.
Tham you for the reply
