Excellent video! Valuable information for me, who just got my 2015 R1200GSA. 5:46 - Slight Mistake??. - The increase when using the cruise control is 2.5 km/hr per press. - pressing it four times will get you from 70km/h -to 80km/h At least on the 2015 R1200GSA
same gizmos but watercooled and better balanced, my old GS Adventure was hard to hold, love the balance of the new one for me a bit too much power but to each its own
The previous GS wasn't exactly a bare bones motorcycle. How far back in the history of the GS line do you have to go to find one that had the right amount of gizmos? Time marches on, and so does technology. When fuel injection came out, there were people lamenting that as well. My only issues with "gizmos" is their complexity; specifically with regard to the home mechanic not being able to service it themselves. BMW has been building over-complicated bikes for decades.
Really a bad job of integrating the camera work and the gentleman walking through the functionality It's as if no one was paying attention to what he was saying with the camera

Wow. I picked up a new 2019 R1250Gs yesterday from the dealer. It’s amazing how much of this still applies to the current model bike !
Been searching for a while for an extremely comprehensive video like this, great job!
Simply amazing explanation of it all. Thanks, mate!
How long have I been looking for such a video. Thanks a lot guys !!!

Miles Davis BMW Australia Marketing dude. Best. Job. In. The World!

@@brianbrooking496 Plus he's a real legend on the bike, and a lovely guy to talk to!
Awesome video!

Im looking for a tutorial of the same model on how to start without key special when you lost your Key how to bypass it?
4:11 you kidding me I’m watching this on 12.03.24
Hi, good job !How to activate gear shift indicator because not found in the manual instruction. Thanks in advance !
Have you found it during those 3 years? )
@@wtfcssource 6 year now mate
Can you give a contact on the board if you don't have a chip to start the engine.
I only have a cut key.
When the bike falls down, does the engine on the 2014 BMW GS1200 shut down?
For those who say all the Gizmo's are good till they fail, well BMW does not FAIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
To set a pillion, do you need to go into setup? For me, pressing the suspention button only moves between Dyna and Road.
Try hold the ESA button down longer to get into the preload setting.
Anyone knows how can I switch off the factory alarm system, it gets annoying inside a ship...

They need a close up of the control screen
Well done
Great bike After 4000 miles i know i bought the right motorcycle. You have 3 years if gizmos stop working BMW pays
Does this bike have cruise control?
if you don't want the gizmos, then just buy a dirt bike?
or better yet, I hear horses work pretty well
How about fuel efficiency? That's important too.
I have a problem about BMW gs 1200 after changing tire the gas only stuck on 3000 rpm
Is there a quiz at the end? 😬
how do u work the lights? fully automatic?
+Charlie good one.
Dude.... how the hell do you get it to show the ACTUAL MILEAGE ????!!?????
Do you really need all this high tech on a bike. It looks a bit complicated. Never been on a gs 1200 yet.
"Need" is the wrong choice of words, especially on a motorcycle nearing 20 grand.
My thoughts exactly. All these gizmos are great until they fail. Then its $ time again. Just saying.

I coud not agree more.
The new is not a gs for me. To many gismos
Worst demonstration I've ever witnessed. BMW can certainly do much better.
