I personally would prefer if there was more space between the Japanese and English texts. They are so close that I can see what the translation is while I am reading the Japanese text. I'd like to be able to read and listen first, then think about what it means and only after that see if I got it right. Besides that, keep up the good work, always happy to see a new video from you.
The content is great, but no one would claim it to be perfect. No body gets their content to this level on first try, so he clearly has improved and changed some aspects. If I think I can offer some feedback to help with that, I am more than happy to offer it. @@colinjames2469
I'm so happy I understood most without reading the translation although I did have to read the transcription sometimes. Question: is this closer to a real life conversation or was it adjusted for those who are learning (simple vocabulary and slower talking speed for example)?
I’m a Japanese language teacher working at a school in Japan. The speed is normal. So I think Japanese learners feel fast. But they pronounce each word, very clearly and don’t speak shorten words. The way to speak and vocabularies are for Japanese learners.
These videos are great! my only gripe is that the translation is right next to the transcription, maybe if it was further away or done using closed captions or something it'd be harder to cheat lmao.
Yess I am constantly accidentally reading the English, or seeing it out of the corner of my eye. I honestly wish they were on opposite sides of the screen, or perhaps the English text was much smaller at the bottom

thank you so much this is very useful, it would be great if the subtitles were optional so to read for example only the japanese subtitles, it is difficult to not read the english ones and I tend to focus less on the japanese, also I would exercise more my reading skills if I was constrained to just reading the japanese characters, altho at least at the start some furigana would be ideal, but I can understand that that would require too much work
Really as early as 7pm better take advantage of that but I'm really much of a sushi guy though. But, I'm sure they have other food I will enjoy eating for half the price like onigiri. 😁

These videos are great! my only gripe is that the translation is right next to the transcription, maybe if it was further away or done using closed captions or something it'd be harder to cheat lmao.
Yess I am constantly accidentally reading the English, or seeing it out of the corner of my eye. I honestly wish they were on opposite sides of the screen, or perhaps the English text was much smaller at the bottom

Personally I’m finding myself just reading the English subtitle because my lazy brain told me it’s easier to understand 👀

thank you so much this is very useful, it would be great if the subtitles were optional so to read for example only the japanese subtitles, it is difficult to not read the english ones and I tend to focus less on the japanese, also I would exercise more my reading skills if I was constrained to just reading the japanese characters, altho at least at the start some furigana would be ideal, but I can understand that that would require too much work
