    Lv.3 すいません(suimasen) is a colloquial pronunciation of すみません (suMImasen). It should be the latter one すみません when written ☺️

      With varying regional dialects, attitudes and personal customs, I think all spoken language is practically colloquial to some degree...especially with a country as old as Japan, within which the regions have had a chance to cultivate their own usage. I don't think the Emperor insisted on a standardized version until very recently.
