Can't get one in Canada for 100.00 :( Here they run closer to 300.00 and kayaks are sold out everywhere right about now. Glad I scored mine when I did. Thanks for the review. Excited to get mine out!
Wow thats crazy! I think most things are getting more expensive (and sold out) these days especially now that we are in the summer! Luckily you got yours before the hype! Let me know how it goes and how you like it! Thanks for watching! Cheers!
@@Kadenventures Well I just got it this week. Fortunately someone here saw the opportunity to start a side gig because he got laid off due to covid. He ordered a bunch of these and is selling them at a lower price than in store. Still in the low 200s but they are more than that everywhere else. Taking her out next weekend for her maiden voyage 😊 will let you know how it goes!!
What really works well is when you read the instructions. They'll tell you to fill the chambers in the ordre in which they are numbered. It helps keep you from over inflating the side chambers when you inflate the floor last.
Hi Brian! Yup I suck at reading instructions lol the numbers are definitely helpful now everytime I go to inflate the kayak, Thanks for watching! Are you enjoying the kayak?
@@Kadenventures I hope to enjoy one soon. We had the Intex Excursion 5 but wouldn't use it much because it was so big and a pain to set up (twice the weight of this kayak), so we sold it. That's why I was aware of the sequence and how to use the ruler-gauge. Part of the reason to do them in sequence is if you do the side chambers first, inflating the floor afterward puts pressure on those chambers so it can increase the pressure. The pressure they use is not only for shape, but gives the optimum flexibility to reduce damage. Anyway, I am waiting for this winter for the prices to drop for the winter before I buy the kayak. The week after I bought my Excursion 5 from Walmart the price doubled for the summer season, so I'm going to wair for winter.
We set up and took ours for a spin yesterday at sea in an inlet. I felt that it deflated slightly in an hour's time. When we carried it back, one person on each end, the whole body was warping downward. I don't think it had punctures. Would you have any recommendations or advice? Thank you for the review. I t was very useful.
Hi Kaley, sorry to hear the yak seemed to be deflating. Was it pretty cold out there? if so, air from the kayak originally may contract and deflate the yak a bit. To see if there are any holes or punctures, take some soapy water in a spray bottle and spray around the bottom where you think there may be a leak (fully inflat the kayak first) and if there are any punctures you should see little bubbles come up after spraying
@@Kadenventures Thank you! I'll do the soapy water spray. Excellent tip. I knew about the soapy water but the spray bottle is a game changer, much faster and easy. The water wasn't that cold but it may have been a factor. We were being careful not to overinflate but I'll inflate a little more next time and make sure all the plugs are very secure. Thanks again Kaden!
@@Kadenventures hey bro i bought one because of this video! Already tested it on the lake for 2 hours with my girlfriend and dog. We had a blast. No issues what so ever. Felt completely safe and secure. About 10 other people on the river had one too. Set up was a breeze. Packing up was a bit tough. The boat was buddy and couldnt be bothered folding it back into the case properly.
@@derek9630 Thats awesome to hear! Glad it worked well for you guys, these seems to be getting a lot more popular, we saw a lot of intex yaks at the lake a few weeks ago too! lol They def arent bad for the price esp for those who dont have a lot of room in the garage! It is a pain the ass to put away though for sure esp when its wet, I usually inflate it at home and throw it in the back of my truck to take to the lake
Yes I did notice that when I first put the seats in, you really just gotta shove them in, don't be scared about hurting the yak the plastic is sturdy. Also make sure to tighten the side straps really well so it creates a supportive backrest!
Good kayak, great value, easy use, lots of fun.
Just an add-on - deflation? It's quite easy, 2-prt valves.
Agreed! Thanks for watching!
Awesome video review.. I just received mine today, I can’t wait to try it out..
Thanks for watching Casper! Let me know how you like it!
@@Kadenventures Ok sure.. I haven’t had a chance to pump it up yet, thinking of testing it out this weekend..
Thanks for the extra tips about customizing the kayak
Thanks for watching! I'm definitely going to be adding some modifications to this boat
The Kayak looks good.
Great review and video.

it's a good boat for the money
You cant beat it! Thanks for watching!
The seats are a pain. You can't squeeze them in there so they stay put. The floor is too narrow. Is that the case with yours?

Thnx, i want to buy it, value for money
Its a good deal for an inflatable yak! Thanks for watching!
Does it come with a patch kit?
Hi Barbara! It did not come with one unfortunately
Can you ride this alone?
Yes you can!
Be careful on the shore line. Lake mead is infested with quagga muscles that can rip through your kayak.
Will do, Thanks for the tip🤙🏽
ua-cam.com/video/0uvzYQOkWiM/v-deo.html that looks like pure bliss, I'm definitely getting one of these. Thanks for the vid m8
