Of all things Butcher could say in the series, hearing him taking about the Spicy Girls like fan were the least I was expecting.
I know me too. But then when you realize it was from his wife I was like OOHHHH K.
His love for his wife is beyond sweet. We see that rock exterior melt.
This scene being followed by a scene with “Wannabe” playing over it was the last thing I was expecting

You could see a tiny house fly right next to Butchers ear and the mic even picked up it's buzzing
i remember all the theories fans were trying to develop to explain the fly
and then the show-runners later say “yeah the fly flew into the take, we thought it was kinda funny, so
just left it in”
the buzzing is probably added in post as a sfx

When I watched season 2's telling of Lamplighter's history with Frenchie I forgot about the constant foreshadowing in season 1! They really planned it all out, really cool writing!

I appreciate the Spice Girls being mentioned, but all Spice Girls made solo albums. Sporty Spice has 8 albums as of 2020, and is working on her 9th album! Baby Spice has 4 albums. Scary Spice has 2 albums and a 2013 single titled For Once In My Life! Posh Spice has 1 album. And, yes, Ginger Spice has 3 albums. They all have continued working in show business- as reality show hosts, t.v. films, voicing Disney/Nickelodeon characters, fashion modeling/designing, and even as U.N. ambasaders (Geri Halliwell Horner and Victoria Beckham.) Melanie Brown is an ambassador for Women's Aid. Emma Bunton (Jones) has a successful baby care products business called Kit and Kin. She also is a d.j. for iHeart Radio. I am sure I have forgotten something! That is how busy and successful the Spice Girls are!
Victoria and Mel B both have huge distinctions from the British Empire, as well (OBE and MBE, respectively).
i grew up with the spice girl and ngl this speech made me cry a bit when i heard it the first time.

If The Boys comics were made in the 80’s and The Boys TV show was made in the 90’s, either Stallone or Dolph Lundgren would have played Billy Butcher.
