Wicked video mate ive been waiting to see a good review on this has I was abit skeptical to say the least weather my brand new phone would go crashing across the floor at the 1st signs have a Ant hill but it proofs you can do more with them.... so gr8 review and keep posting epic videos 👌🏻🤘🏻
Nice review, that camera mount footage sold it for me. You should ask them for a discount code! bet loads of people bought it because of this vid! good to see some Cannock footage too, great tracks around there.
Just to follow up, I tried the camera mount adapter with my 50p gopro knockoff camera and its still fairly smooth even without the image stabilisation.
Personally I've never had any damage but I would say having your bars exposed there is always a risk. Checkout our sp connect review. We tested that thing to the max
Could you also line it up so that you can use your phone to film facing the trail like a gopro would? I have a live action camera but my phone has a waaaay better camera so I'd prefer to film my rides with my phone.
love the vid great content but the non anti flicker lights are killing me and the audio quality is meh (but great detail and review) highly suggest increasing audio quality.
@@AdventureTrailsMTB hi mate I work in lighting and am guessing that light fitting in your garage is LED?! Most led light fittings aren’t flicker free, if it’s an issue try looking at a fitting with a Dali ballast/driver in it. Go for a good one and try and find out the flicker rate on it from the manufacturer, they probably won’t be completely flicker free but they will have a flicker rate of between 1-5% depending on the quality of fitting/driver. Ps keep up the good work, was a great review.
Just a tip, when applying the phone to the lock, press the blue button. It will make it much easier
Thanks dude 👍

Have owned the out-front Pro phone mount and under mount for the go pro for a couple of years now. Agreed its a totally awesome piece of kit.
I was genuinely surprised, I really thought it was going to be trash
Yup the go pro 8 is a real game changer.
Thanks for the review. Astonishing footage from the gopro mount. I thought it'd be shaking like a 🥒

I dont think that there is a better solution on the market.
I agree, the fact there was almost no shaking is a marvel in itself.
The smooth footage near the end when you have it clipped to your handlebars… Is that a GoPro or is that actually the phone?
No thats the gopro 7
Nice review, thanks for this, Keep do this my friend. 🤙🏼🔥🔥🔥OnTrailMTB🙌🏻

What is the best version for food couriers?
Will mounting a phone on a bike can cause vibration damage to the phone?

What hard tail bike is that? It’s sick!
thats the sonder transmitter dude
Looks like a winner on the road or flow trails. But I reckon it might end in tears on technical terrain I had a crash.
Looks a decent bit of kit Gaz. 👍
It's really the only one to buy
Hi just wanted to check but has any damage to your phone camera occured since using the mount?
Not personally , but i can see what you mean
Great video thanks so much
no problem buddy , you may want to have a look at the latest video for the sp connect mount also .
Does it need Quad Lock Motorcycle Vibration Dampener? Recent phones now are very sensitive..
no , this was filmed a while ago before they released it .
@@AdventureTrailsMTB Is it possible then that it could damage the camera of an iphone due to vibration specially the stabilizer?
@@wil7sdni I've not done research but would imaging a company like quadlock would have looked into it

Cool video! I don’t recognise the downhill section.. what is it called? Is it on dog or monkey?
all the good dh are on the monkey trails , which section are you referring to ?
Haha video calling the family on a down hill run!
You know what it's like, new ideas are hard to find 🤣🤣🤣
This will change your life.
Gaz how about a crash test!
Haha! With a recent score of 2 crashes in 3 rides, I'm happy to volunteer as Adventure Trails MTB resident crash test dummy! 🤕
Haha great volunteering! I didn't have a very good ride myself this morning. Great video but WE/THE VIEWERS WANT TO SEE A CRASH!!
@@dukeofwollaston1089 Haha good plan benlar 🤘🤕
