@@MattyVSM he does in studio recordings, just not live, there was a case a few years ago where he developed tonsil stones because of the excessive screaming so he had to slow that down in live shows
Thank you so much for not being one of those reaction channels that spend minutes talking before getting to why people clicked on the video. The worst I’ve seen was nearly 10 minutes not saying anything that matters or anyone cares about before starting
If I remember correctly (and that's a massive IF) this song was about a dodgy relationship with both sides being toxic but he still yearns for her, a feeling of loss in the crap they put each other through. Very 2010s core but still a banger. Would love a follow up with Tears pt2. Not as intense but from memory it's a solid follow-up story wise Edit: your take on wrong choices and inner turmoil is probably the right take, at the very least still fits with what we had 10 years ago as kids, just refined
my god this song brings me back to 7th grade... this kind of music helped me through the horrible time i had in high school... BFMV / BMTH / Miss May I fantastic songs from all of them, i hope you explore them more! people already commented good songs so i wont bother repeating
Bullet was one of the earlier bands i got into that mixed clean vocals in woth the heavy scratch vocals which opened the floodgates to my teen years filled with heavier and heavier music selections. The Australian band Polaris is definitely a must react band when it comes to scream+clean vocals start with the songs Pray for Rain and Masochist with Masochist having a music video them or ERRAs songs Snowblood or Dementia. Both very talented bands with a good sound.
Same man. I used to be into classic rock and hiphop when I was a teen. Then borrowed an ipod from my buddy when we went to the skate park and the first song I heard was this song. It got me so jacked up and opened the metal/metalcore flood gates for me as well. Also, great suggestions on the other two bands. Been listening to Erra for a few years and recently found Polaris. You should look into more Australian metal/metalcore bands. They are damn good at pumping out those genres.
This is what I get when I sort your content by popular. I miss this stuff completely!!! I watched an All That Remains reaction and I get recommended one of my favorites.....smfh. THANK YOU ILY
This was one of the most popular bands there was when I was growing up. I first heard of them when I was around 15 or 16. And I discovered them by accident. I have been hooked ever since. My God this really takes me back, I am tripping down memory lane. You are in for a treat, honey.
This is my favorite song from BFMV and they’re my favorite band. I’d also recommend the songs “hearts burst into fire” “her voice resides” and “your betrayal”. Pretty much all the songs on their first 3 albums are amazing. This song is off their album “the poison” which was their first album under the name “bullet for my Valentine”. They use to go by the name “Jeff killed John” before they got signed to a label. Once they got signed, they changed their name to BFMV. They released a demo album and 3 EP’s under that name. U can find them on UA-cam. They’re pretty good and u can hear influences from some of those Jeff killed John songs in some of the early BFMV songs. I wish they would re-record all the songs they released when they still were under the “jeff killed John” name
The Rachel PSA was anger and murder doesn't go together, so as long as you think about it and at least plan it out... or wait? Did I miss the point? This song was flashbacks for me, have so many memories of the time when this one came out and used to play it on repeat. Fun throwback, love the reaction!
Both Matt Tuck, and the bassist in this song/video were a huge influence with my screaming vocals. Along with Casey (RIP 😔) from Hawethorne Heights, Oli Sykes from BMTH and Chester (RIP 😢) from Linkin Park. The whole The Poison album was truly amazing and a major introduction into metalcore for me
I would like to formally thank Matt for introducing me to my absolute love for post metalcore and deathcore. From bullet I got introduced to as I lay dying and parkway drive.... And it just spread from there.
This is the song that really got me into BFMV! First it was the band name that got my attn then it was this song that had me sold! Been a fan ever since, one of fav bands all time!
lol how have you not seen this video? Anywhos.. I remember when I first seen it when it first came out many years ago. Awesome video and yeah vocals sick. Sweet vibe and sweet video you made. Yah gots a sub now🥰👍🏼
Bullet for my valentine. These beautiful motherf.... brought me to metal (thx need for speed underground ) & i stil love them. Especially with their new album. Seen them live for 10 times now and there is yet more to come
b4mv rabbit hole - 4 words, all these things i hate, scream aim fire, hearts burst into fire, waking the demon, your betrayal, a place where you belong, bittersweet memories, tears dont fall part 2, knives
I hate when they cut out huge chunks of songs in music videos! You should try listening to the full version, so much better. Still though, it is excellent and one of the most iconic metal songs from the last 20 years
this is one of my fav songs of all time its so good and its funny ray says u can understand them well when singing but funny enough its a welsh band haha
I love bfmv. I went back to listen to the Poison album and I forgot how nasty they got with the instruments. The outro to her voice resides is ear orgasmic lol the solo on 4 words (to choke upon) gave me stink face all the way through 💀 Matt's voice on the end is hypnotic. U might wanna check that one out
I saw bullet years ago when they first started. It was in a shitty bar in Birmingham called the custard factory. They sold CDs on a bench by the stage. They were great then and just got better and better
I love this Song 😍 I always was a Linkin Park Fan, because Chester, was like a Hero, for Me ❤️ Then I heard Matt with this Song, at MTV and I was in Love with this Band 😍😍😍 Hearts burn into Fire, is also One, of my favorite Songs ❤️
"Her conscience calls the guilty to come home" is clearly referring to her not feeling guilty for something bad she did, but now she does cause the guilty is "home" (The guilty came back, is within her)
Iron Maiden has been my favorite band since I was 8 years old. I thought no other band would make me feel the same. But I discovered BFMV. Cries in vain is without a doubt my favorite song
Sadly a lot of parts of this song are cut from the music video. In the full sing the solo is like twice as long and there a couple more tidbits here and there that got removed in the video version so you should definitely listen to the album version at some point to get the "full" experience.
"There's always something different going wrong! The path I walk's in the wrong direction! There's always someone fucking hanging on! Can anybody help me make things better? The explicit line just hits harder....
I was literally listening to this album yesterday after ages - What a coincidence :D On a side note. Perhaps you could react to `Holding Absence - Wilt` sometime? Such an emotional and incredible song. :)
Her conscience calls the guilty to come home... she was cheating and felt bad about it. Her tears don't fall they crash around me... she was confronted and started crying. The subtle songwriting of BfmV is pretty great
Not anger, just Anguish for something that can’t be controlled. I’ve said it many times and will again, metal is not an expression of anger, but an expression of any emotion with a huge intensity. Keep on the metal path and you will see 😀
This song is just iconic, the whole album that includes this song is so. If you liked it you could listen to the Spotify version which is 1 minute longer and has way more guitar on it🔥
Just PSA from a Fuel hauler the vapor is more explosive than the gas!!! So if it was gas once she struck the lighter it would have exploded! Love your reaction!!
Matt screams so clearly always. Bullet low key has written dozens and dozens of bangers.
Absolutely!
matt doesn't do 80% of their screams believe it or not. but when he does yes, very solid
@@MattyVSM he does in studio recordings, just not live, there was a case a few years ago where he developed tonsil stones because of the excessive screaming so he had to slow that down in live shows
@@ghxst241 I suppose that would make sense , I just remember as far back as the poison, he’d only scream like 40% of the screams in any live shows.
Wdym "low key" they are a HUGE band with a HUGE following lmao. There is nothing low key about their success and the songs they've written.
Other bullet songs to react
-Scream aim fire
-Suffocaiting under words of sorrow
-Parasite
-Your bettayal
-Hand of blood
-Waking the demon
Bittersweet memories is also amazing so is all these things I hate (revolve around me)
-Suffocaiting under words of sorrow !!!!
I really dig pleasure and pain as well
Honestly, any song on any album except Temper Temper is great to go with. TT is practically their only bad album.
Hearts burst into fire
Not invincible
All these things I hate
4 Words to Choke Upon is another great song from this album
Absolutely fucking awesome song.
Their best, IMO 🤘🏼
Definitely, the one that got me into them off an old Madden game!@@rickydiamond441
That solo tho 💀💀💀 hearing it after so long made me wanna punch an elephant and suffer the consequences
hand of blood is my fav
10 Years Today is my favorite from this one.
Thank you so much for not being one of those reaction channels that spend minutes talking before getting to why people clicked on the video. The worst I’ve seen was nearly 10 minutes not saying anything that matters or anyone cares about before starting
This songs seems to never end.
It moves like waves of heaviness.
Such a good song.
“The End” is one of their best songs, and is by far their most underrated.
++++++
Hit The Floor is also on the list of underrated yet bangers list ^^
one of my favorites and it feels even better as the last song of The Poision, great closing song and so rewarding
That song has One of the best breakdown in a song ever
Seen them live twice many years ago, their energy has always been unmatched.
Bullet For My Valentine Your Betrayal pls 🙏🏻
That intro 🔥🤘🏽😎
One of my fav songs ! still in my playlist up to this day
lets go! Suffocating under words of sorrow is a BANGER btw. definitely watch it next
They have so many songs! POW, Waking the demon, All these things I hate, Hearts burst into fire are just a few!
Bullet is one of my favorite bands! My favorite songs are:
Scream Aim Fire
Death by a thousand cuts
No Way Out
Parasite
Army of Noise
Your betrayal

Listen to the longer version too, the guitar solo is way cooler, and the ending too :)
Yeah, for sure... the video version takes away from the fullness of this jam🤘🏽😎
This is one of my fav bullet for my valentine songs still in my playist to this very day
"Hand of Blood" best Song 🫶🏻
Why has nobody introduced her to Bad Omens? I think they'd be right up her alley. Excellent react as always :)
No

Classic ! Definitely need to listen to the album version though, longer intro, longer ending and cooler solo
SHE'S SO BEAUTIFUL AND THIS SONG IS LEGEND
peak metalcore

murder -anger = psychopath.
murder + anger = crime of passion or derangement
Big difference to me.
Saw them live last halloween & they literally sounds the same! Such an incredible band
You should probably check out the full album version this is all cut and edited missing sections.
I love your reactions! So amazing. Totally thoughtful and intelligent!
Great video, awesome tune, Hearts burst into fire is another great tune by them, with an awesome guitar intro to the song
