i gotta ask, does this bag flopps down on the shoulders when u carry it with a bunch of cymbals on your back? or is it solid enough to maintain its height while carrying it?
They have a backpack strap plus a buckle which secures the backpack straps in position. If you're buckled into this thing, the case does flop around or move. It is on your back like glue. Hope this helps
I have a mono gig bag for my bass guitar and it is the best case I've ever had bar none. I'm totally happy to see they make cases for drummers too. I really want that cymbal bag.
I've been using the same exact Mono stick bag for a while and love it! By far the best bag I've ever used. Looking forward to eventually getting the cymbal bag in the future.
I love this convo. Cases/Bags do become another "instrument" when you gig a lot. It is nice to know everything is at my finger tips without having to get up.
Its funny... I actually still have all three stick bags that I have ever owned going all the way back to 1974. The last bag I bought, way back in 1991, is a H&B Tuxedo bag that has served me well for decades. My first bag was a Ludwig branded silver vinyl and leather bag I bought from The Drum Shop in Houston, TX in 1974. My favorite is custom made all leather bag that was made for Jack's drum shop in Boston. My dad bout it for me in 1986 on my first day of class after getting in the Berklee College. :)
In the past I've forgotten sticks before had to use pieces of branch I broke off of a bush outside it was awful but it worked. I've also gotten to a gig without a snare stand used the base drum case with other cases stuffed inside Never again do I rush to gigs I look over and put my hands on everything before I leave now.
I’m absolutely buying both of these bags. I have a full set of Zildjian A series so I absolutely need the best I can get as far as cymbal protection goes
I've currently been using a Reunion Blues cymbal bag and it's AMAZING, but I've seen this company before on Amazon and other sites and I've always been interested in their stuff. I think I'll definitely be getting one of their stick bags at some point.
Been rocking Mono case forever. I wish they made 20" or 18" of it, living in NYC carrying cymbals ranging from 14 to 18 max, sometimes makes it too much :D
I can smell a little bit of OCD from the thumbnail of this video..lol! It's awesome to see your channel getting bigger and bigger every season. Thank you guys for the videos. You made me look at my drums from different angles every time!
These bags look like great products which I would consider if I didn't already have some bags for my sticks and symbols. Let me know if mono ever puts out some drum bags. Those I could really use
Super happy with my mono cymbal bag. It has taken some beating and loading in and out of cars and venues, and it still holds up very well. I do occationaly carry my tama classic cymbal stands in the "extra pocket" together with a tackle stick bag and some extras without any problems. But hey, what hi hats are you using in the video? They sound amazing!
Those are nice cymbal and stick bags. I like how many dividers are in the cymbal bag. For my good cymbals I have a 22" Hardcase. And I have s Pro Mark stick bag. I recently got a Sabian cymbal bag for my xs20 set as well. Great video Cody 👍
Hmmm might grab that stick 🎒 I contemplated mono's cymbal bags and ahead's armor bag... Ultimately went with ahead. The 🐑 interior and inserts sold me.
I love the ahead snare cases. I ordered a mono cymbal be to me soon. I should have gotten the ahead cymbal bag fit uniform purposes lol, but excited about the mono
@@justinalexander1056 gotta be uniform! Lol hate to sound weird bro but you look Familiar. You wouldn't happen to know a Bishop Mary Alexander would you?
Oh, my god. Someone actually thought of the clutch. I've white-knuckled it through many a road trip, just hoping the bastard'd stay in place till we got to Poughkeepsie..
Sexiest music intro ever! You guys are wicked cool at this channel. I gig a lot here in Japan around Nagoya. Fortunately I am able to usually drive my car with my gear, but quality cases are still needed when walking downtown. Japanese live venue spaces are cramped. Storing gear is similar to the tightness of a van. I've never seen Mono in Japan. Protection Racket cases are the best I've found and owned so far.
They are nothing compare to Cornerstone cases made in Ukraine. Those are super durable and can be custom made for any purposes in life for affordable price.
That’s quite the claim! Unfortunately, we can’t find anything online about Cornerstone and we’re quite happy with the quality of these- no need for custom, just want them to do the job and cover the necessities. On top of that, we love the aesthetic of Mono Case and they’re readily available around the world.
I'm actually glad to see the "Includes Paid Promotion" - Grats!
Thanks Jeremy! We're stoked to partner with them on this since we've been using their gear for years. Also excited for a future giveaway...
I have the Mono M80 22" bag and the M80 stick case. Literally the best cases I've ever had. Unbelievable quality
Love it! These are definitely built to last.

@@Osagie98 Not quite sure what you're describing but it certainly holds form in transit with cymbals inside.

@@SoundsLikeADrum tnx for the answer! yea basically what i asked is if the bag disfigures while being carried.

I have black one 22" and use it six years. Love this bag,it looks amazing and very comfortable.

Just playing around the west coast if Florida. Would love the cymball case to protect my cymbals every week. Thanks! Love mono!

Backpack straps are a must for cymbal bags, all should have them

Right?! That sort of simple, thoughtful, highly effective design is exactly what our industry needs.
Where can I buy that clutch and cymbals felts or what ever they were?
Holy crap what snare is that? It sounds amazing!

Ey! First Video that you show the outside! 👍
We’ve been quarantined 😉
I would love to go to Scottsdale.,
Would you use this cymbal case to check them at the airport when traveling? By the many cymbal pockets would be a no, but what do you think?
Generally I’ll try to carry it on with me and then check it at the gate if there isn’t room on the plane - no issues so far! -Cody

What you did there... I heard it...
Awesome content as always :)
No problem with Stevy Ray.
Would you take this mono case over a hard case?
For hauling gear around the city or in a cab absolutely. The shoulder straps alone make it more convenient.
I love this
What does your shirt say?
