I've had the 24" version of the Mono bag for three years, and it's still going strong, I love it! The only drawback for me is the limited number of cymbal slots in the main compartment (only six). This isn't a huge deal since most of my gigs don't require me to max out this bag's capacity, but I do find myself needing to use a second bag to be able to transport all of my cymbals to the gigs I want a bigger setup.
Nice! Yeah I was super impressed by the Mono case. You've also got the two outer compartments for hi hats and splashes too so I think it can definitely accommodate most cymbal setups!
I had the ahead bag and they are amazing! But I moved up traveling in a tour bus and not always doing my own load in and load out so I needed an skb case!!! They’re the two best in my book but it all just depends on “how big” the stages you’re playing on are
Absolutely! 🙏 hard cases are needed for tour! But its nice just being able to get cymbals out of a soft case for rehearsals or just moving them around the house too haha.
The Tama Powerpad bag is absolute trash in the durability department. I've had two that have failed in less than a year with rips on the bottom exposing cymbal edges. Tama got me a replacement for the first one but they bitched about it and said that would be my only replacement.
I love this bag so far, I purchased one to keep and I use it between storage and gigs with fewer cymbals. Sounds like you're maxing it out with cymbals or using it every single day, cuz I don't think mine will break
