In a world where we are having discussions about sexual harassment with women, stalking and inappropriate behaviors, this video is shocking. If this video was a man doing this to a woman, people would be outraged. Why is it okay for women to do this to men? Why is THIS perceived as cute, but if a man were to do this in a video to a woman, the media would go crazy? A little perspective. I certainly understand it’s for “fun”, but as I said, if a male musician had this type of video, they would be “cancelled”. For goodness sakes, “Baby It’s Cold Outside” was heavily criticized. We need to remember that the same respect we as for from men should be applied to men. This just isn’t sitting well.
She’s portrayed as a psychotic lunatic. Yes, she goes unpunished and meets someone else but we know it doesn’t end well for him either. It’s not a sympathetic portrayal. And all of the replies of it being cute are from fans of Queen of the South, of which both male actors here were part of the cast.
