I am a 54 year old woman and i want to thank you for EXACTLY expressing my entire life experience and making sense of what i have never been able to put into words. If i ever have my way, this will be played at my funeral cos you know and verbalise my struggle better than i ever, ever could x
I feel like he's taken the voices in his head hostage and he forces them to write lyrics for him. He's like I'll write something, and you guys fill in the rest. That's where he gets that unhinged mental patient vibe from
I write very similar lyrics. I'll get a line or phrase in my head and sit and write. I don't try to write or think about what I'm writing. It just writes itself. When I'm finished and read it, it's like the first time I've seen it.
I can only describe Ren as a modern day Bard. Not just a musician, not just a storyteller, not just a poet but all of them together into someone who can evoke visceral emotions in their audience and have their rapt attention through it all. Well done Ren, I haven't been moved so strongly by a performance in a long time and you consistently have done so.
A jester he is not. A story teller, a massively talented artist. My god boy, you're something else. Stay independent, don't let anyone influence your creativity.
My grandson put me on to Ren… MIND BLOWN. It does my heart good to know young people still have passion to experiment with bare bones music. This guy is up there with Zappa, Lenard Cohen and others so far as musical genius and story telling goes. This is part of the soundtrack of my life. Thanks for the music Ren. It’s heard and received energetically ✌🏼 4:20
@@Pieces_Of_History2 It is musicians most basic skill but not every person skill. So yeah I am impressed by it no matter who is doing it. Just because a lot of people can do something dosn't mean I can't be impressed by it, especially if I personally can't do it.
@@brandonelm4891it’s actually not hard to have your own subtle cues to keep time and beat without a metronome. Me for example I move my fingers or my feet to keep beat
@@brandonelm4891I am very sure he did not have a metronome as he is playing with tempo, meaning getting slower and faster. This does not work with a metronome
@@harmonybabe80 brilliant enough to have resurrected that word in my critical vocabulary... do you remember those old commercials from Guinness, with the 2 old fellas telling each other "Brilliant!" in response to various very basic ideas?? "What is that?" "A 6 pack." "Brilliant! What is a 6 pack?" "It holds 6 beers at one time." "Brilliant!" etc, etc, et al, ad infinitum... ua-cam.com/video/3DPKf7y1F-Q/v-deo.html
A Bard for sure. I can imagine watching him perform when there was no other form of stimulation(internet etc) and being completely flabbergasted.(im still flabbergasted and i can literally watch anything)
Such a sad trilogy. So much impact on mental health, abuse, the effects of growing up in situations you can’t change. Absolutely so powerful, well written, performed. The whole nine yards! Well done sir!
Working as direct care staff at mental health facility for 16 years and being extremely abused as a child. I'd like to thank ren for making amazingly beautiful music about a sensitive subject. You are an amazing human
I thought this was an insanely creative music video until I noticed the lapel mic and realised it was actually a live performance. A mind blowing live performance.
i would've never guessed that this is a prequel to jenny's and screech's tale. the whole series is mind blowing to me, the way he changes his tone and emotion when singing different parts, the great storytelling, the guitar playing, the singing, the lyrics, the talent and its also very catchy. like not only is it great musically but you can just read the lyrics and be interested..i also love the sound effects he makes with the guitar like in the rewind part and all the knocking, and how you can feel the emotion just from the way he plays. hoping for richard's tale im wondering what his backstory is
I honestly feel like his music has changed my life. It’s had a truly profound effect on me. He has more talent in his little finger than anyone in the charts these days. Absolutely blown away.
Agreed....the problem is that our modern culture no longer wants real talent....they don't want unique talent...our culture.only wants Mirrors and Ego.
Ren won't sell out, he's too real, he does this for different reasons to all those riding A list fame... its a shame the world makes artists sell out to get somewhere... because artists like Ren don't get the recognition they deserve!!
I feel like we won't have a song like this for a long long while ever again. This is pure art, storytelling, vocals and strings, just like the beginning of music as art form.
The "normal" way people listen to music has changed... Its mostly used as background sound to fill the silence.. Ren's is different, especially the tales. Everyone who's truly listened to them agrees instantly. The one who don't have only heard it, but never listended.
The moment I heard, " A girl named Jenny", my heart sank and chills went up my spine. What a sad conclusion to an already sad tale, but wow was it powerful.
@@arthurstephenson869 listen to the other songs but from what i understand they were brothers who were adopted apart and then the brother killed the sister in the other songs
Weirdest feeling I'm having when listening to his music. Not sure if I like it or not.... But damn... It hits hard.. It's like watching a one-man musical. It's the third time I hear this now. And if a certain song can make me come back for another listen, it must mean, that I like it. Your music in confusing my emotion, man!
I find songs that evoke sadness in me is the only way sadness ever feels good. Sometimes it's therapeutic and even feels a little good to settle down into the sadness instead of trying to avoid it all the time. It's like a controlled burn so you don't lose the whole forest when there's a real fire. If I freefall into it by choice every so often, when life becomes sad I don't shatter into as many pieces.
even when he spends almost 40 seconds, with no beat or music at all, each and every word, plus the delivery, is on beat. Its pretty amazing being able to carry on the beat, like an internal clock, whilst acting out a scene. I'm not surprised though, as when you watch him play and rap, he doesn't even tap his foot to stay in time, like 95% of guitarists do, as he is full control. one of a kind artist,
@@RayneDraws uhh so violet was a quiet girl was the daughter of an alcoholic and abusive father she moved out at 16 met a boy named steve who did the same thing as her dad, then one night he pulls up and beats her half to death then at the doctors she dies but gives birth to twins, screech and jenny
I love how you don’t just make music, but you tell stories. Not just of event, but stories of people struggle to survive, both metaphorically and literally.
Yes, by telling the tales of the individual people, he doesn't need to explicitly state the wider socio-economic picture, but you can get it in a way that's much more impactful than a straight up political speech would be. And he makes music too 😄
As I've mentioned before, this man is a modern-day troubadour. I'm going to go further - he is exactly what we need to hear these days. Someone telling it as it is. Someone bringing the messages of our society right up front and centre! You are a gift, Ren. I'm 56, and grown-up on Bowie, Pink Floyd, and other incredible songwriters and musicians. Your voice and style are fresh and distinct. Please keep doing this!

Just had to watch this in full after seeing a clip on another platform. Wow, that was so deep, I saw it all! This emotionally moved me. I've got to say that your talent is extraordinary in a world of recognised genres. Pure brilliance. Truly the modern day Bard.
Ok, this got me gutted... Only to find out jenny and screech where siblings is a serious twist i never saw coming. Ren i love your amazing storytelling and delivery, please keep doing this !!
If you watch with closed captions on, at the very beginning of the video it says "in morte, ut in vita, numquam partiemur. Crevimus ad vocem eliusdem cordis" which translates to "In death, as in life, we never shall part. We grew to the voice of the same heart" ❤️ Oh my GOD. What an awesome little hidden message! I am stunned!!! I can't stop listening to this song. Just amazed by everything about this!
Do not worrie, GOD IS ALWAYS ON TIME. And CHRIST shall return again . The only reason He haven't come yet, is because you are still unsaved, GOD calls you home also: 2 Peter 3:9chapter context similar meaning copy save The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. John 3:15chapter context similar meaning copy save That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. Every time you worried and complain that GOD haven´t returned yet, ask these question from yourself; HAVEN'T I GOTTEN SAVED YET? DID I CAME TO REPENTANCE? Acts 17:30chapter context similar meaning copy save And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: The time is ticking, place your hand on your chest, on that side where your heart is, can you feel it, the pumping inside your chest? Can you hear you heart beating? - your heart, dear soul is the clock of your lifetime.
Ren is a minstrel, a modern one. I think about five hundred years ago, minstrels performed like this. Ren can sing. He can play multiple instruments. He's a poet, a philosopher, an observer of life, an actor. He has taken rap to a new level that can appeal to everyone of any age. A perfect development of the people's voice for our times. x
So I think its for certain that it ends with another tragic death. And that Richard is gonna die seems certain as well. The question is what about screech's girlfriend and Patrick. They are probatly having an affair and dont seem to really care about screech. They will end up in a fight i whitch Patrick kills the gf and the Officer still fighting with regrets, Sees it, tries to Interfere and kills partick but to Late... then He either lives with the pain or kills himself. Like a good tragety everyone is dead or ruined in the same night and the bodies are now still only two streets apart. Ohh i got down a rabbit hole cuz of your music, ren, (proud part of the cult eh... bookclup) and i love it... ill be wrong with everything but it was a fun game to play ;] Edit: its gonna be Richards or Patricks tail, while i tend towards Patrick but i am not sure at all Edit two: idk if i have to put it here for the theorie to count...?
You should watch some of his busking videos - some of the most incredible busking performances I've ever seen. Once you find Ren you're hooked, and that's a good thing. ;-)
I've never grew to like an artist in such a small amount of time. This isn't my usual music I listen to. I'm a metalhead. I listened to hi ren first and Jesus I was hooked. You're talented in so many ways. Your voice, music, lyrics and how you feel your music is so raw and it's so hard to find.
haha, almost thought I was the only one 'getting soft', but we're not really, just shows our taste in music is off the charts and not limited to just metal. This guy is a nuke, doesn't even need distortion.
My mother kept me locked in a basement for years as a child as a sex object for her boyfriend/husband. Which I only share because I recently found this song, and I feel it's critically, crucially important for artists to tell stories like these. Things that are raw, and vulnerable, and true. So, thanks, I guess. I shouldn't be alive, but I'm glad to have found my way here. Beautiful.
Ren, you don't play music, you PERFORM. I am awed by everything I've seen from you and let me say those you've helped are immeasurable. Your raw talent is amazing.
the silence, then actual silence which fills you with realization is just insane. How he portrays such a scene so well is incredible and i have only suport and hope for him and the future.
You can’t just read the lyrics. You’ve got to hear the way he says them. Everything is spoken purposefully with emotion while maintaining a rhythm. It’s amazing. Great work
This is my first time hearing Ren. My goodness the amount of feels poured through all these lyrics and strings are amazing. UA-cam did it right for once.
The word everyone is looking for is “Bard”, In ancient Ireland and Scotland, there were Bards. Traveling poets, lyricists and musicians. Musical storytellers. I have been a musician/ songwriter for 40 plus years. One thing I’ve learned is the most genius musicians/performers I’ve ever met/worked with were the most insane/outlandish mentally. Even people that were outwardly shy and reserved.inside, there were always issues.
What the actual fuck…I’m speechless. And kinda (very) emotional 🥲 very tragic but also very real. So eerie yet beautifully written. Your best work yet, lyrically and cinematically, you can tell you put your heart and soul into this one. Bravo 👏👏👏👏 hoping this one gets the recognition it deserves.
@@sirweebs2914 I disagree. Very very few songs even tackle such horrible subject matters - let alone in such an amazing way. I'm sure many survivors of sexual assault, incest, and IPV would think this is a beautiful piece of art.
So the whole video is filmed in one shot, from interior to exterior, on the streets of...wherever that is, with him barefoot and singing and playing LIVE?! Magnificent!
REN is a lyrical fuckin genius! This geeza is so out there, there’s nothing like him and I love him. Raw passion and emotion in every story he tells! This guy helps me through my darker days knowing even talented people can struggle too! What a talent this boy is and he deserves more recognition x
I’m a 55 yr old grandmother. Just found you tonight. Wow. So far all I’ve heard has left me speechless but thank you for this one. Knocked my breath away and was very cathartic.
This is intense. Despite being here to see the premiere, I couldn't put any of what I was thinking into words right after and I still feel I won't do this story any justice with whatever I say. First of all, it's obviously a masterpiece, but coming from you that was to be expected. I won't even talk about the ingenious vocals, guitar play and acting. What really brings this to a new level is just the immaculate story telling. You made everyone expect anything and everything, but definitely not this. I love how the songs gradually get darker while the viewer slowly figures out just how messed up this story really is. This song alone is a modern tragedy and a piece of art, but the point is none of the tales could exist the same way without one another, and I can barely comprehend the weight that adds to it. I will definitely have to listen to this over and over again for hours on end, just to start doing it any justice and understand and feel it's darkness. Lastly, this couldn't hurt so much if there wasn't any truth or reality in it. Thank you for making this, and thank you for telling their tales, because they will not be forgotten. Lots of love, stay safe. 💛
I’m amazed. This is it. I don”t even know what to say. The way that you moved something in my soul. I’m also a guitar player, but how are you able to take us into the past with sounds. Your creativity, sense, artistic inspiration, attention to details (nameplate on the hospital bed). I watched it 4 times in a row. Each was a new experience. The best thing I noticed is going back into the past by sliding your fingers down the fretboard of the guitar AND THEN LATER when you’re taking us to present you use the same sounds but in the reverse order.
It's poetry. It rhymes. Chills. Jesus Chris he simply uses his guitar in unique ways to tell the story. The incredible cinematography and camerawork, the entire thing is done in one take, the sets, the performance, holy fuck this is art.
This has me in complete tears. This cycle is why no matter how much I struggle as a single mother to a 4 year old little girl, I won't go back. I don't want her to have a life like violet or end up like Jenny or Screech. It is so hard to escape abuse. I married a man who hit on me just like my own father did. But I will break that cycle for my little girl. Thank you Ren for reminding those like me on why we have to stay strong.
Ren is like a visitor from another realm. He's obviously acquired lyrical skills and musical skills of a very high calibre (which immediately distinguishes him from 99% of the garbage that passes for popular music these days) so he immediately has a bed upon which to build his art. But most significantly...he's a spiritual thing of unique qualities. He breathes truth...and perhaps even magic...which I think is what so draws his audience.
Ren deserves to be world class by now. The incredible levels of talent shown is incomparable to other artists. The music itself, writing, ability to rhyme and artistic approach to story telling is on a level that others couldn't even dream of. Its truly magical and expresses how beautiful music is as an art form. Thank you Ren for the time, talent and dedication you put in to bless us with your music.
The way he uses the acoustics of the stair way, keeps the rhythm, the timing of everything! Just the whole thing!! It’s so well delivered, incredible!

I play guitar, and I am really blown away by this guy on so many levels. To be honest, as he was playing that line walking down the stairs, I was thinking to myself that I wasn't sure I could walk down stairs at the same time as playing those lines without falling down the steps. Ren isn't playing music. It's pouring through him, oozing out ... gushing out. He's breathing it like pranayama. Very impressed , as I said, on so many levels. The playing with the singing and the stroytelling and, and... skill, creativity, very keen intelligence to it all. Good show!! (as this American imagines a Brit might say).
@ couldn’t of but it better! I play fingerstyle guitar. The moment I ever try and strum basic chords and sing at the same time, it goes wrong. I can fully appreciate the skill Ren has in this vid.
well i have no idea who this guy is but i'd be willing to bet the song was recorded ahead of time like most music is. Do you know what a producer and all that is?
@@astraldim It's a live performance - he's wearing a mike and the acoustic amplification is under his scrubs. Which makes this all the more mind blowing. He's a very special talent.
Not just the stairway the whole song is using the sound waves in accordance to the amount of space in the clip so if the camera pulls away the sound gets quieter but has more reverb because the space has increased sound amplification as well so it's an awesome ballad and this man is genius level musician I tell you I've never seen such a talent.
This song was the hardest for me to listen to. I survived years of DV so this song hit home. I love that you bring attention to all the dark things in life without glamorizing them. Keep it up Ren. You are in my prayers love
Yeah i found you pretty late actually about 45 mins ago ren as you appeared randomly on my tiktok fy and it was jenny tale a few seconds of it and i was amazed by the guitar play. But man now that i have watched all 3 parts of this story I have to say this, I listen to various music and I am familiar with all the big names out there and I will say you are the one of the greatest Artists I think it is an Understatement to just call you a musician. The acting, the voice, the lyrics, the delivery style, the guitar playing AND ALL OF THAT LIVE is a feat unachieveable. This was perfect man to the last second pure perfection
Yeah! I noticed that too and then later when the story catches back up at 4:25 he plays the inverse of that riff right back into the motif from the beginning
this sent chills down my spine, literally. i've listened to the song twice to understand the story in full detail (with and without subtitles), and gosh it's dark. dark and so beautifully written. thank you. Ren, for writing the third story, i never saw this plot twist coming! also, the one-shot format really fits here. it feels like the story unfolds right in front of our eyes. the cameraman did a brilliant job!
As if I didn't already adore you, I then discovered this song. I had to be delivered by emergency C-section because my dad had beaten my mother so severely when pregnant with me. The fact that you felt compassionate and moved to write a song about such things is groundbreaking and so valuable a lesson. I am always so impressed by how well you convey the depth of your lyrics as you express them physically as well in your videos. 👌 Once again, bravo Ren. God bless you 🌹✌️🌈🥰🙏💋🦋
I love everything about your music and lyrics and performances. I am so honored to have been blessed to have discovered you. You are impacting so many people for good as your talent and genius astounds us. 👌🥰✌️❤️👍
@@jerihillman6311 He really is compassionate, isn’t he? And he carries an intensity and authenticity into his work that’s really struck a chord with me and I think with all his listeners. Glad he’s out here to be discovered
I love the use of the acoustics in an empty room and echo up the stairs... AND the fact that he plays live in a video....damn it, this part got me. As a survivor this hit me
I've lost count how many films really kill it with the imagery using stairs. Run, Lola, Run, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, The Believer, Batman(1989), High Anxiety, Vertigo,...
The originality of this tune is mindblowing. This young lad has created a modern day dark folk ballad delivered in a mix of singing, spoken word and rap bars backed up by guitar work with classical, melodic picking and percussive reggae flavours, all blended incredibly well. Jaw drop moment for me was the guitar scratch then "that's the sound of his fists when they fall like a crashing pilot " straight into the reggae rhythm again. that was alchemy...Not seen talent like this in a VERY long time and i hope this young un goes far
As sickeningly violent as it is, the part from 3:17 to 4:02 has to be one of my very favorite pieces of *anything* ever. From the acting, to the rapping, to the guitar playing. How it paints the scene. It's so brilliantly executed
Agreed. I'm pretty thick skinned but it's so on the nail it actually makes me feel sick! It's the sign of a master artist when they can convey their point so well it can provoke that kind of reaction. Art is the language of emotion, and this guy's beyond fluent.
On top of being a singer he is an amazing performer. The guy knows where to intensify, where to pause and which pace to choose for different parts of the song. Just amazing
the nowadays industry doesn't care about talent anymore man, almost all there is mainstream today is shit...we gotta dig deep to find something good and dig even deeper to find something like this guy
@@antonikollerI'd say he's pretty "famous" now, with a number 1 album! But as he says "the people who find his music, respect it!" The last thing he wants is fame.
I am a 55yo Aussie lady. I heard Hi Ren last night for the first time. I'm an alcoholic, sober for today, suicidal, lonely, grieving for my soul mate who has been dead since October 2021 after having his Covid shot. I don't fit or belong anywhere, but I hearing you, I have found a young man who identifies with a depth of soul I truly thought I would never see again. Thank you.
Hi Marianne. Your comment here has moved me.......my heart wants to connect with yours...I attempted to find you on Facebook...you describe such a beautiful soul...I think I found your profile..I hope you see my message ...❤💐❤
@@LadyLibertyBella Thank you for your reply. It is difficult, but today is another day and it has actually been a good one, thanks to my God. God bless you too!
You don’t have to fit or belong anywhere, I lost a wife who ran off with my friend over twenty years ago, I’ve always been a loner and I work alone and live alone, I love my own company. When I wake up every day I set out to to be a decent human being, I don’t care if I am loathed or liked people will always have there own issues and gaslight others The person you should love the most is yourself, if you do it successfully you won’t feel the need to fit in.
I am going thru the exact same thing. Alcoholic addict lost the love of my life in February and also super depressed and feel like giving up. Glad Ren could help me feel better today. Just found him today. Just wanted u to know ur not alone and I can relate to u. ❤️
I too am a recovering addict 27 years on heroin and crack. When I stopped using most of my mates were dead and I didn't know anyone who wasn't a user. My dogs got me through! Every day I wouldn't want to get out of bed, I had to they needing feeding and walking. I made an agreement with myself that I would live until they died then I could get the f*ck out. All the physical pain from cirrhosis and necrosis in my bones that the drugs had kept under control hit me like a ton of bricks. But when my male dog (pit bull terrier x bull mastiff) died, my bitch (cane corso) just seemed to give up. I felt so so bad for her I did the unthinkable - got a pup to cheer her up! It gave her a new lease of life and after she died, I now had a 2 year old boerboel, so I had to keep going. I still have bad days, plenty of them, when my brain is hurting more than my body, but together - he's 4 this week - we keep going. Good luck to you, and all my best wishes. Not gonna feed you a load of lies about some god making it better, but life has some good bits. Ren is one of them.
There lies so much beauty in the way Ren presents us this oppresive lines. Not to mention the insane acting and guitar skills. The most impressive thing is, that i don`t fell that he is acting, it`s extraordinary authentic. I still always wonder if the last line shouldn`t be "A gril namend Jenny and a boy namend James"? Because "...by the name of James ... his mates called him Screech...". But I`m sure it`s for the transparency, i just recogniced it.
I LOVED this how the lyrics become more rushed in fight scenes, how he uses the guitar chords in reverse to simulate the feeling of going backwards, the repeat of lines with slight variation to create a feeling of linear history and it’s repeat, and then finally the twist with the twins, beautiful. He has an inane level of natural talent, and his storytelling is so vivid, his voice is so crisp. 10000000/10 Edit: Thx for the likes, but maybe subscribe?
My theory one how it's going to end: The rounds were in Screech's chest, but did he die? I suspect he was alive last second until being kidnapped, healed, brought underground, got a sack over his head while some British dude rambles about capitalism before lighting himself on fire
Ren I have been following your amazing journey and not only have you provided me with hope for the future of music you have just released a beautiful piece that the world needs to hear. ❤ Ren supports send this to everyone you know even just as a reminder. Thank you, Health and happiness ❤

Here are the lyrics for anyone who wants them
London City, far from pretty
Two, zero, zero, five
A lady down in Paddington
Is fighting just to stay alive
Rhythmic beeps and blood stained sheets
Our lady weeps; she’s tired and frail
To set the scene
We must rewind the hands of time for violets tale
Violet was a silent girl
Grew up with violent starts
Her mother was a drinker
And her father was a bastard
Every night he’d tuck her tight
But never left the room
Ill spare you of the things he did
Im sure her mother knew
Violet was a silent girl
She moved out at sixteen
A semi-detached council flat
Paid for by a welfare-scheme
Packing shelves at Tesco’s
Stacking jars like pickled bricks
She met a boy named Stevie
And he was a little prick
Violet was a silent girl
And violet she fell fast
See Stevie was a wrongun
But he sure knew how to charm her
Every night he’d tuck her tight
But never left the room
History repeats itself
Hed paint her black and blue and ah…
She never stood a chance
The devil comes to dance
“Violet, why you always so silent?”
*knock knock knock*
On her bedroom door and he’s irate
He’s been drinking and smoking he’s up late
And he stands by her bedside, she shakes
But her eyes stay shut
“You fucking slut! I know you’re up!”
and he pinches her eyelids and folds them up
“Violet, why you lying to me violet?”
She stays silent, things turn violent
*Knock knock knock*
Thats the sound of his fists when they fall like a crashing pilot
Hit like hailstones, one to the collar bone, full force, full blown,
blood splat, bone crack, knick-knack-paddy-whack
one to the jaw and a tooth spat - detached
fist connects and disconnects the bone
a quick deflect to misdirect the blow
But non-the-less his punches met her throat
such a mess; he’s left her bruised and broke
“Violet!?
Why you always so silent violet!? Why you such a little liar violet!?
Do you think I want to do this Violet?!”
In character she stays silent
“Well say something Violet!”
Silence
“Fucking say something Violet!”
Silence…
“Wait… say something Violet”
Not one word, she stays quiet….
London City, far from pretty
two, zero, zero, five
A lady rushed to paddington is fighting just to stay alive
the doctor in a state of shock, saw something here so very wrong
See Violet, she was pregnant,
Poor violet, she was nine months gone
Turning to the doctor Violet broke her silence and she cried,
“If im to die right here tonight, please let my baby stay alive
” the doctor soon regained composure, called the surgeon to come in
As violets world turned to black, the curtains closed
The lights went dim in…
London City, far from pretty,

Not sure if I like it or not....

Listen to the song I deserve to bleed, it's the same feeling but arguably worse.

Do not worrie, GOD IS ALWAYS ON TIME. And CHRIST shall return again .
The only reason He haven't come yet, is because you are still unsaved,
GOD calls you home also:
2 Peter 3:9chapter context similar meaning copy save The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
Acts 17:30chapter context similar meaning copy save And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:
The time is ticking, place your hand on your chest, on that side where your heart is, can you feel it, the pumping inside your chest? Can you hear you heart beating? - your heart, dear soul is the clock of your lifetime.

Ren is like a visitor from another realm. He's obviously acquired lyrical skills and musical skills of a very high calibre (which immediately distinguishes him from 99% of the garbage that passes for popular music these days) so he immediately has a bed upon which to build his art.
Thank you, darling, for telling Violet's tale. 🎉
Definitely Richards Tale, i think it'll be about how Richards life falls apart after the events of Jenny and Screech's tale
And your comment was hearted, I think you’re right
@@tridon7327 yeah, i thought so but looking at the letters i dont think i was spot on
We are wrong..its gonna be bout Violet. A nurse in the ER trying to save Screech
@@ashthetrashboat1982 yeah, still happy i got the hear tho
Where did u get Richard I'm so lost on the story line🤔
This was a hard pill to swallow. Your songs create a vortex of fellings, dude. Love your art.
I’m just pleased Ren managed to find a hospital setting and gown 🤣
I got & offered Him a gown but he didnt reply to me 😅 so I think it wasnt a big problem to get this 😁
dude the damn guitar at beginning specially and the rest really was damn boy wtf!
that riff that matched the situation you played when you said "must rewind the hands of time for violet's tale" was just such a neat little detail
Yeah! I noticed that too and then later when the story catches back up at 4:25 he plays the inverse of that riff right back into the motif from the beginning

The masterpiece that is the tale of jenny, screech, and violet has come to a close by our modern bard that is ren
thanku!!
I’ve literally just shared this video on FB calling him a modern day bard as well. I think it’s an absolutely apt description of him
@@bexualhealing i agreee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
yeahhhhhh
Love this man's ability to not only tell a tragic tale through his music but also kill it on the guitar in sync with the story he speaks. 🖤
Not only has Ren mastered musical story telling but also emotional conveyance through sound and lack of sound.
this sent chills down my spine, literally. i've listened to the song twice to understand the story in full detail (with and without subtitles), and gosh it's dark. dark and so beautifully written. thank you. Ren, for writing the third story, i never saw this plot twist coming!
also, the one-shot format really fits here. it feels like the story unfolds right in front of our eyes. the cameraman did a brilliant job!
thank you!!
Wow that's gruesome. Hope you're in good health.
😢
Absolutely amazing song, lyrics and performance! I am an old lady and hadn’t heard of REN before, I certainly do now - fantastic! ❤️🥰❤️
I love the use of the acoustics in an empty room and echo up the stairs... AND the fact that he plays live in a video....damn it, this part got me. As a survivor this hit me
He plays live!???
3:39 - 3:52 That guitar playing is incredible. That beat is so catchy.
110% no bullshit poetry, just amazing work
Man's a genius.
Oh I appreciate the intro up to 1:26 before all else
Can I ask the question why this person is not CRASY famous ?
Music creativity at it's peak
the nowadays industry doesn't care about talent anymore man, almost all there is mainstream today is shit...we gotta dig deep to find something good and dig even deeper to find something like this guy
@@antonikollerI'd say he's pretty "famous" now, with a number 1 album! But as he says "the people who find his music, respect it!" The last thing he wants is fame.
I think your just late the the party? No disrespect. Hes famously infamous at this point. One of those if you know you know. Better that way anyways.
When I wake up every day I set out to to be a decent human being, I don’t care if I am loathed or liked people will always have there own issues and gaslight others
The person you should love the most is yourself, if you do it successfully you won’t feel the need to fit in.
It's incredible how gripping this trilogy is. It's just Ren and his guitar but you feel so invested in every detail. Truly a one in a million artist.
Edit: Thx for the likes, but maybe subscribe?
Although i fully agree with yout comment, do you think you deserve a subscription?
Subscribe to what?? If you have a channel and asking peep to sub u cos of a comment on a guys channel , that's a little on the desperate side?
Umm, i naturally thought he meant subscribe to Ren’s channel.
hits too hard when your name is violet you grew up in brighton and this is exactly what your childhood was like
Sorry. And thank you.
at least you are still alive

❤❤❤❤
My theory one how it's going to end:
The rounds were in Screech's chest, but did he die? I suspect he was alive last second until being kidnapped, healed, brought underground, got a sack over his head while some British dude rambles about capitalism before lighting himself on fire
Best one yet ngl
Probably is
You are the smartest person I know
I always presumed the man he had kidnapped in money game was someone in high power such as the PM with the way they act and dress shoes they have on
you are so smart
Ren I have been following your amazing journey and not only have you provided me with hope for the future of music you have just released a beautiful piece that the world needs to hear. ❤
