This video was extremely helpful! I am a lefty and have been trying to learn how to pronate but my instructor is right handed and we are not having much success. Watching and practicing the five exercises has made much of the pronation process clear. My arm, hand and wrist are now working together with my brain.Even the waiter tray with my wrist has disappeared simply by providing some space between my trigger finger and the rest. Thanks so much for your help.
Thank you for the five drills to pronation. I will work on these to get a better feel and understanding of how pronation feels. I really appreciate you emphasizing being relaxed and holding the racquets with a relaxed hand.
Sofar, your explanation is the most accurate one in terms of basic tennis serve drills, it helps me a lot progressing to better serve in tennis. Thank you so much for your video. I will absolutely follow your youtube channel, 😊
Great material! At the age of 70 I am revamping my game (to the best of my ability). The pronation kick serve is on the agenda but seems a daunting challenge. Your material is most helpful. Thanking you.
I'm a right handed player but am always helping my wife with her serve and you explained the pronation of the raquet very well. The 5 steps you laid out are also a very clear description of the breakdown in a good solid serve. Great Job!!!
Dylan ur content is great, ur feeds are finally coming thru my UA-cam algo. Have you done a video of leading with the elbow, I struggle with this. Also great gem on the reverse hit to avoid waiters tray 👌
Thanks for this great video sir. It is very helpful. Are you supposed to hit the TOP of the ball when pronating? Or you supposed to hit the BACK of the ball?
Fantastic drills, especially like catching ball, easy to do at home to develop proper finish. I believe it will be a game changer for my lame racket drop as well. I have a great shadow swing but when I introduce the ball very little racket drop as I served wrong way way too long, as a result I have to break bad muscle memory. I have loose grip and racket still wants to go straight to the ball with very little drop. If I can get arm to drop when doing the catching ball drill I believe it is a game changer. Would love to see a video on the racket drop.
Awesome. I'm gonna try this out. I lead with edge well and pronate into contact but my brain went let me pronate felly😭 I have good pop on my serve...do you think I'm losing power but not following thru the pronation fully?? Thanks for the great video!
Great video, clear explanations, useful drills …… ( except where you say it’s like giving your partner a high five, whereas technically you should have said a low five 😃 )
Pronation is not necessary for a powerful tennis serve. So why spend so much time trying to pronate? I'll give you a hint: learn about the neutral wrist.
It’s part of the service motion, people get often told to snap their wrist which is a am very much against. Trying to provide useful exercises so people do not get false info
Simplest and most helpful video on pronation I have seen to date.
Great to hear that!
I agree, awesome video Dylan!
Fantastic coaching! Thsnks for the tips!!
Thank you! 🙏🏽
excellent easy to follow explanation of pronation.
Great to hear that! Thanks
Wish youtube had a mirror feature both right handers and left handers have equal access to great videos like this
Yes that would be good, sorry about that
Brilliant for lefties though.
Very good video, and great to see a left hander demonstrate the technique - rather than having to “mirror” a right handed player/coach!! 😊
Thank you! Glad that this video could help you

I think so. I have the same problem lol
Which racket are you using?
Wilson shift
Bruce Lee’s Voice!
😂
Pronation is easy. Hitting target is not. How to aim correctly? IS IT ONLY BY PRACTISE?
5:58 OK wtf how did you do that
