Robin Williams brain was always going a million miles a second. To come up with such funny banter on the spot , was such a joy to watch .... good thing we have UA-cam!
After coming to terms with his passing, I randomly found this video clip today and have decided to remember Robin Williams as he was. An amazingly funny man. And after a bit of depression, I can honestly say it felt good to laugh again. :)
Maria L Worship? Do you know this for a fact? Since Robin was famous people got a chance to get a glimpse of what kind of person he might of been. What he showed was a lot of quality! What's wrong with admiring and praising kindness, laughter, intelligence, and like you said: critical thinking. Your little story about loosing a foot is quite cute though ^^ You know critical thinking is not = negativity...
Maria L It took some time, but I have returned to this comment thread. First and foremost, I've always been a bit messed up. Robin Williams was a man who put such sheer levels of energy into his roles that I could always laugh and smile when I saw him on screen. Did I know the man? No. But I'm willing to guess you don't know your favorite music artists or celebrities either. His work gave me comfort when I couldn't think clearly and needed something to stop myself from swirling deeper into a negative mindset. The sad thing is, he was depressed about things as well. I will never pretend to know his problems, but being a depressed or mentally off person is not and NEVER SHOULD BE some kind of competition. When he was gone...I was broken in a way. Not because he was close to me, but something that had given me comfort was gone forever. When I found this clip, I remembered why I had admired him so much. Even with his own depression, he fought on for so long and did such amazing things that I could scarcely believe he had hidden so much of his own pain. If he could last for so long against problems that make my own seem small, then it's a battle that I can fight too. And his comedic antics in this video made me smile and laugh again, giving me renewed strength. In short, Maria L, I don't know you. I bear no ill will towards you. I don't know what struggles you've faced in life and the pain you've experienced since I know everyone on this planet goes through their own pain, and I will never pretend to know everything about you. But as I will not pretend to know you, please do not pretend you know everything about me. I know you meant no harm in your comment though. I only replied since I figured you deserved a proper explanation.
Maria L That was a well thought out response. I enjoyed it very much. I do understand what you mean entirely. Perhaps it is a waste of my energy to be sad for someone who would not be sad for me. I suppose I've always been afraid of such a mindset because it feels too....cold..for me. For lack of a better word that I know is out there but I cannot think of at the moment. Robin Williams brought something different than music, and this is why many people were sad with his passing. Laughter. He brought joy to millions, even though millions didn't know him personally. I think it's a sad thing when a source of joy for many people is silenced. With the mindset of not caring if someone dies if they wouldn't care if you died, it makes me wonder if I'm supposed to ignore the death of a distant relative I didn't know very well. Honor what memories I did have or just shrug it off and go about my business. I see the logic of both mindsets. You would miss new music more than the man himself, and I know what you mean by that. But for me, Robin Williams represented laughter for anyone to experience. He represented joy because his face, voice, and actions entertained us and made us smile when we might not have had much to smile about. Even if you only respect the comedy and not care if the man himself is gone, I think many will agree that the idea of something that gave joy being silenced forever is a sad thing indeed. I'm also enjoying this conversation because it's a nice bit of insight into a different mindset and you are a well spoken and civil individual.
No one can do voices like Robin. Even his heavy middle-eastern voices would get laughs no matter what. We forgot our troubles while Robin was on the screen, RIP
Thank you so much for putting this video up. Great tribute to someone who gave so much to so many. But first and foremost to his family. RIP Robin. Our hearts are broken by your absence; but are full at the same time from the joy that we still get from you through your films, stand up, guest appearances, and comedy tours legacy.

The world misses you Robin ♥️
This made me laugh, and then when it ended it made me cry. He was in a league of his own. I miss you, Robin. 💜
You could never stop him, he was absolutely brilliant!
Robin Williams brain was always going a million miles a second. To come up with such funny banter on the spot , was such a joy to watch .... good thing we have UA-cam!
How much we miss this guy. Glad for every bit of laughter you gifted us
"Who's your daddy?"
Throws Martha off so much that she can't get the recipe straight.
Love it! 😀
Hard to watch because I still cry that he's gone! He brought so much joy but found little for himself!😥
But thanks for all the laughter Robin!
Miss Elmyra 😘
Hello Misiis.......
After coming to terms with his passing, I randomly found this video clip today and have decided to remember Robin Williams as he was. An amazingly funny man.
And after a bit of depression, I can honestly say it felt good to laugh again. :)
I agree :)
+Maria L by the same argument, why would anyone care what YOU think?
The only person who can make me laugh this much watching Martha Stewart! God I miss that man.
She's wasn't use to being a sidekick
yeah, she had a real problem being second candle to Robin's flame-thrower!
Not at all !! Martha showed NO humor what so ever !!!
I miss him. The world could sure use some Robin Williams right now. He was wonderful.
I would say yes, but I shudder on the thpught what those loud mouthed groups would do to hi.
One of a kind. Bless his soul, wherever it may be in this universe ❤
“who’s your daddy?” *SMACK*

I love seeing Martha try to cope when she's not in control!lol!
Miss you RW
I was fortunate to see this program when it came out.
Watching this makes me know I was alive during a very special time. Love them both to this day.
I needed that laugh like you will never believe!!
@Hello there, how are you doing this blessed day?

Its so sad to know he was suffering while presenting as happy go lucky. We miss you, Robin. You mattered (a lot) to us!
He was so quick witted, it took only the slightest, most offhand remark and he'd be there with a punchline...
