Just a soft Irish rain. 😊 Drone shots were captivating! So powerful by night, peaceful beach in the morning. Beautiful mealtime views from Harry too!! Thanks for sharing all. ❤
Ah you will have to wait and see for a formal tasting from Jane in a future episode is she with you ? What I would say it tastes very different to uk especially the veggie pudding
Thank you so much for all the great scenery, beaches, caves, drone footage and the interesting areas of Cork!!!!! Here in Argentina black pudding is a great favourite but not mine.....
Glad you enjoyed and thanks for watching and commenting…. It’s amazing how different this pudding tasted to our UK type it had more oats in and better in my opinion
Afraid to say we're with Jane on the black pudding debate. The Hendrix themed pub on the other hand, now that is definitely on the must do list! More lovely coastal park ups. Thanks for sharing x
Well you certainly found a good park up in the end though yes what a sad story. I think the saddest memorial ive ever come across is the ship Lolaire that sank in the harbour of Stornaway.😭
Hi there. Yes it was beyond sad wasnt it. As a parent myself I can’t imagine. I hadn’t heard of the ship Lolaire - So Ive just read about it online. So many young men from the same place 😳. You will see when we go to Mizen Head in a future episode that theres a list of ships that sunk off Fastnet Rock Lighthouse during WW1. It’s unbelievably long. Thanks for watching and commenting. Jane ☺️
We always use a whole jar for two of us lol. If it was for 4 I'd be adding a tin of tomatoes. We are pigs though 😆 Loved the evening drone flight music. Another beautiful park up and loved the patterning on the rocks. Reminded me of a beach in Pembrokeshire. That was a very pretty town, loved the brightly coloured front doors. I've had Irish white pudding many many years ago, pre veggie days, and it was really nice. Never did Black pudding though but my Dad used to love the stuff.
Ha it’s not just us then with the servings 😂 Jane does a formal tasting in a future episode of all 3 types …. It definitely tastes different to UK pudding and better in my opinion Thanks for watching
Looks like the cow at 12:08 was going to "moon" you the way it was lifting its butt LOLOL. You need more subscribers because your channel is very good!
Omg 😂😂😂😂 Ive just rewatched it and you are right !!!!! Funny. I missed that. Thanks for your lovely comment. We’ve had Harry 4 years but only started putting regular videos out since Stew retired in April last year. This will please him as he really puts alot of effort into them and hopefully we improve as we go along. Thanks for watching. Jane ☺️
Thanks for watching ☺️ They have been trialing the veggie pudding for a while in certain areas and hopefully rolling it out everywhere including the UK soon. We buy all three and have a tasting in an upcoming episode ☺️ jane
To be honest we are going to struggle to go back to dried pasta it’s so much nicer and easier of course in a van - thanks for watching and hope it works out when you try it
Pop up Italian restaurant looked nice! Very dramatic coastline drone shots as the light faded through to the beautiful morning scene and beach wander. A colourful town. Bargain pudding tour! 😊
Hi Jane and Stew, who would've thought there was a black pudding museum. The breakfast at the end looked delicious. The black pudding looked a little coarser than the Scottish variety, white pudding is something I've never been tempted by. It's a bit more popular in the east around Edinburgh. As usual the scenery is fantastic and the Irish are very friendly, even the ones from Cornwall. Keep up the good work guys.
Hi there ! Glad you’ve found us and thanks for watching (and commenting ☺️) It’s a wonderful place and we got alot less done than we thought we might. Place was just too stunning to rush it. We didn’t get to your neck of the woods unfortunately but the perfect excuse to for us to return again (and again). Jane
Ah sorry we try hard to get it right but with so many words and me being unable to speak lol 😂 gets in the way … I assumed it wasn’t the obvious one this time
thank you both again for my weekly fix. really enjoyed the beach scenes etc. You are getting good at teasing us about what is coming next week and I am certainly looking forward to watching. ATB
Thanks for watching Gill ☺️. Theres something so relaxing about watching the waves isnt there. We loved this park up. Clonakilty was a really vibrant place. Jane
Hello Stew and Jane from Canada! We are avid watchers of your channel and really look forward to your weekly posts. I do have a question for Stew….my husband is coveting your back pack and has been trying to see what the make of it is - but he cannot see it. Can you please tell us what make it is? Looking forward to your next post :) from Jane and Mike
Thank you for your great vlogs. We also have just bought a ford transit custom leisure van and are interested in how/where you store everything and your gadgets, to enable you to live for 10 weeks in the van? You are enjoying some lovely adventures.
How exciting - especially finding all those corners - I have done a few videos on the van so if you haven’t already looked we did a van view originally and then as we upgraded we have shared that. - the rest is just trying different things - but ask away if you have questions
i have only found your channel two days ago, am so impressed. is their anyway you can put a number on each edition on your Ireland trip as i want too see them all from Rosslare onwards, but somehow i cannot seem to find the ones next, then next etc. just want too see them all in order if you know what i mean thanks you
Hi there. Thanks for watching. ☺️ you can click on the Getaway Geese channel and the videos should be listed in date order. But - Stews just put a number on each title for you. So hopefully that makes it easier. The latest video is number 9. So hopefully you can start at 1. I’d be the same as you and want to watch them in order. Jane ☺️
Hi - thank you - I try and google when i get home on the correct way to pronounce places we’ve been and sometimes end up more confused than ever as everyone says places differently 🤦♀️. Ive decided on our next trip we are hunting down a local to ask and writing it down lol. Thanks for watching. Jane
Oh thank you. Thats so kind ☺️ I think it was the initial shock - we were fine once we’d put it in perspective. And we’ve had alot of good tips going forward on the next trip regarding security. Jane

I have heard that rather than use fresh pasta, soak dried in cold water to rehydrate, then cook as fresh… have yet to try it but will!
