Garmin's Panoptix Livescope fish finder is an awesome tool for Crappie and Panfish anglers!! Wouldn't it be nice to be able to use the same unit in your boat and on fishing docks? After several attempts and a little cowboy engineering I figured out a way to do both! I hope you like the set up. I truly believe Dock anglers should have the best electronics too!

Jeff the live scoop will fit in the ice bundle kit nicely it’s kinda a little tight fit but it will definitely fit in the bag with two of the lithium 10ha battery’s also & the big black box also!! It’s a pretty cool setup also!! & will run at 32* for just under 12 hrs at 100% bright ness & around 14 hrs run time at 50% brightness & looks like it should be for sure!! But just so you no it will fit in the ice bundle kit for sure with a 9” screen also!! Just thought you might like to no that it will fit & with the two lithium 10ah battery also!!

Very good idea! Wish the transducer could be rotated via the T handle.
It can - Just spin it on the pipe. I do all the time.
Just use 1 1/4 inch pvc on the outside and 1 inch inside and mount your handle and transducer to the slightly longer 1 inch piece and it will rotate perfectly. Btw, I wish I had seen your seatup before I created mine. The magnet and angle iron is brilliant.

How do you have both power cords to only one battery with only one connector on your battery? I love your tidy setup!
All you have to do is get a smaller piece of PVC or metal pipe to fit inside the PVC. Mount the ducer on the inner piece and then you can rotate it. You'll be glad you did.
How hot does the black box get being inclosed
nice, so would the black box have heating problems in that case in the summer time?
What kind of battery do you have in the box and what is the life you get out of it per use?

Not really. Works pretty good.

8 to 10 with the lithium.

The pole needs to be remade so you can pivot it
Nope. It works exactly like I need it to. It can be tilted which is more important to me than pivoting.
You must love your great magnet but a rare earth magnet straight from Amazon will do better with less weight.
