  • Minecraft Furnaces are very slow, so I am making the fastest Minecraft redstone furnace system that I possibly can. This is the ultimate super smelter for Minecraft 1.17, created in the latest Minecraft snapshot for the caves and cliffs update, we make use of the dripstone lava mechanic to have infinite fuel for Minecraft furnaces. This automatic super smelter is an industrial Minecraft furnace array with 300 furnaces working together to smelt items as fast as possible in Minecraft.

No, his definition of "Simple" is the same as everyone else's. However, he defines things as "simple" or "complex" based on the individual circuits, not the whole contraption, which is why he is such a good Redstoner. While most people would call this a "very complex Redstone system", he sees it as a "collection of simple Redstone circuits that work together to do a complex task". As long as you understand the basics of Redstone, and how to combine those simple circuits effectively, you can do some amazing things.

You absolutely should revisit this and make it fully automatic. Skeleton farm for the arrows, sort empty buckets out of the output and transport them back up to the lava generator. Can dispensers place and take fluids from cauldrons? If so then have a dispenser do the job of "harvesting" your lava farm.

    • @hanzzel6086
      @hanzzel6086 2 роки тому +83

If he can't use dispensers, then I think he should go with bamboo. I have seen him make farms for it that are fully automatic. And it wouldn't be difficult to hook them up to a super smelter. The biggest issue would be building one big enough to keep this thing running, without it being too big and causing overflow.

It's insane to think that although Minecraft's redstone is limited in the items we have for it, we can still create things as complex as this where we can tell the hoppers to work at certain times. I definitely do not know how it works but it is so fun and puzzling.

After that the only manual resource needed is arrows, but I’ve seen suggestions for an automatic skeleton farm that could help? An upgraded version with total renewability would be interesting.

Amazing build, and beautifully chaotic. Probably going to attempt building in my survival world for the fun of it lol, but there are some things I’d add to improve upon the design:
    1) An item sorting system to filter out the hopper-carts and buckets from the items you have smelted, sorting the carts with an allay nonstackable-item sorter and sending those hopper-carts through a feed that leads to a dispenser to reuse the carts. This is now possible with the change of making the carts drop themselves rather than what they are made of. And for the buckets, just adding the QOL feature of sorting them and sending them up to the lava cauldrons with a water pipeline and bubble elevator.
    2) I would likely build this with a connection to a skeleton spawner to ensure that I don’t run out of arrows. Auto-skeleton-killer with either dogs or soul campfires, and a sorting system to filter out the arrows and lead them into the dispenser with hoppers.
    3) I would likely time the delay between when the hoppercarts should be sent off, use repeaters to actually cause that delay, and aim them into the block holding the red stone torch. This way, you don’t have to time the delay yourself and use 2 buttons, rather pressing a button once and letting the repeaters do the work for you.
    4) If I truly don’t want to use lava as the power source, setting up an auto charcoal farm (using kelp as the fuel for the charcoal generator) instead, which simplifies the red stone down a lot!
Either way an amazing build, those are just things I am likely going to add to it myself to maximize efficiency even further

I think you should add a sorting system to sort out the empty buckets and the hopper minecarts. Then it will put the buckets back into the dropper that gives you the buckets when you are farming the lava. At the same time, the hopper minecarts will be re-dispensed to pickup more items. And I think you can use cactus and a hopper under it instead of using like a 1000 arrows. I am not sure will the cactus thing work since I don't know will the items inside survive. If the cactus idea doesn't work, just replace it with a skeleton farm. Have a nice day!

The smelter itself is amazing and nearly perfect, but I see two big flaws with the item pickup system: Because the pickup and carriage minecarts are getting shot by arrows and thus dismantled, the system that sends more pickup minecarts will soon run out of them. And also, the dispenser that shoots at the minecarts will soon run out arrows too. The both problems can be simultaneously fixed by having the Minecarts just circle around the system and get the items collected by a hopper hooked to a dropper. I hope it will be done quickly enough because if not, the entire system will Overclog.

Next thing is an automatic sorting system that filters all of the end products, as well as feeding the empty buckets back up to the lava farm and back into your inventory. Also at the end, convert the minecart extraction into a Shulker shifter on a piston feed tape, which is connected to an observer set up to break the Shulker when it is full, where it is collected into bulk storage. OR... once broken and collected, add to a dispenser system that places the now empty Shulker back into the feed tape. That would be... I'm gonna try this hold up

You can make it fully automatic with the new crafter block. Broken minecarts gets sorted out of the storage, gets rebuild in the crafter and then goes back up, while all the player does is just pick up lava buckets for fuel. The iron for the buckets can come from an iron farm and be crafted into buckets for the player to pick up. Or the buckets gets sorted out to go back up to the player. Love your vids btw :D

That's a more fundamental problem with the system, unfortunately.
Probably the only solution would to have individual hoppers under each furnace, then maybe have them go in to a dispenser that sends them in to a water stream to get them to you really quick.
EDIT: Oh, to save on materials, you can have each hopper point towards the end of the line, with a single dispenser that sends it in to a water stream, instead of each furnace having its own dispenser.
Still a lot more hoppers, but also a lot faster and avoids any recrafting.

the hopper minecart being broken to get its items is semi-fixed by the fact that in 1.20, it now drops both items as one unit when broken instead of two separate ones, so you could transport the hopper minecarts back up to the collection system and dispense them again.
you would just need a good single-item filter at the beginning to remove them from the storage system, or you would need to put filters on all of the smelted-item-storage hoppers and fill each one with one of the items that you're smelting and put the collection for the hopper minecarts at the end

My thoughts to improve would be for the collection, have it sort out specifically the buckets, hoppers, and minecarts, so you can easily get those carts crafted, and buckets filled. And to add, make a system that brings the buckets to the lava farm. Lastly as a bonus, if your using this for something like ore and what not, you could set up a a sorting machine with the output

Hi this is awesome 💖💖 and i think i have even more awesome idea 😊
Can you make fully automatic storage system which detect ores, it will smelt them in to metal and store them back to system?
Imagine you are comming back from mining, so you just drop everything from inventory in to single chest and the rest of the work will do automatic system.

@@evangelionmann So far, dispensers are not able to interact with cauldrons like that. I'm hoping that it gets added into 1.17, but it's not there yet. In the latest snapshots, you still need an AFK player holding right-click on the cauldrons to get the lava.
