Seriously guys, anybody who is saying that CJ is better. Yes CJ is phenomenal -but god damn listen to this amazing vocalist, bringing his own interpretation of the song and doing a damn great job, I mean.. I wasn't expecting him to be THIS good!!! The highs and the lows.. Wow!

He sounds pretty aight and to be honest, as long as Adam is writing out of his mind like he was on Immortal, you could put on almost any vocalist. By now Adam can write a song FOR a vocalist, not just a song that has to have a vocalist. Immortal suited CJ, Flesh Coffin suited Tom, the new album will suit Will. I have high hopes.
I don’t think there’s a better songwriter in deathcore than Adam and Austin. They know their crew so well and they push themselves all the time. I love it
@@xIExile toms awesome, but the way immortal sounds is just on a whole new level to the older albums; he’d have kicked ass on it but cj still did beyond phenomenally. You just can’t deny he is up there with the best vocalists
To everyone saying CJ didn’t have stage presence, I laugh. CJ dominated any stage he walked on and you see every vocalist now trying to do what he does but can never do it like him. He changed the deathcore game forever and left a mark on it. He had his own style of making you work for it equally creating a reciprocating crowd, while also completely dominating the room effortlessly. But nonetheless, this new guy is good, can’t wait to see what he brings to LS.
Brian Williams I saw Lorna Shore two different times while CJ was doing vocals. He definitely had a good stage presence, especially when he got into the song. I definitely had no complaints. I got to meet him when Lorna was on the summer slaughter tour. Hopefully he comes back soon. This whole sexual abuse allegation thing is such bs.
Brian R Williams I know. Just aggravates me to see people run their mouth about CJ constantly. I get that his actions were wrong but to use it as an excuse to bash and talk shit about him just makes use look like the bad ones and hypocritical as hell. No one said anything bad about him before the allegations surfaced.
CJ just walked onto a stage as if any of that was true and with the persona of being the shit. If you want to see the definition of stage presence, check out Ryo from Crystal Lake. That dude brings the energy, not just the attitude.
I love his work in A Wake In Providence/Monument of a Memory and seeing him fill in for Lorna Shore makes me respect his talent even more. Judging by these live videos it seems like he's killing it. I thought no one could replicate/replace CJ's vocals but damn Will seems even better. I wish he'd join them permanently because I'm selfish and love Immortal but I understand he's got his own shit going for him.
You say you are a fan of Immortal but claim this is better than the original? That somehow doesn't add up. There are so many details / special parts that only CJ could do. They still sounds good but they aren't special anymore, they have been "dumbed down" to average deathcore vocals.
@@Vampireknigh If this is what he sounds like after a handful of shows, he's definitely capable of the details/"special" parts you're talking about. Though replicating CJ's work live is only one part of it, I'm still not sure there are many vocalists who can replicate CJ's layering of vocal techniques while writing.
Great job, and I think this will put people at ease as to the bands future. I feel much better after seeing this. I was really nervous for the band, but now I'm just looking forward to seeing them again. Immortal is without a doubt my favorite album of theirs.

Yeah. CJ really didn't do much on stage, but it never really bothered me.
