Will Ramos fanboying over Tea and Opera Singers is the kinda content I didn't know I needed lol both absolutely amazing people and I could watch this interview over and over again!
I’ve not seen Elizabeth’s channel before, but I’ve never seen someone so genuinely happy and excited at what this type of music brings to the creative table. Her exuberance is absolutely intoxicating.
Will is one of the most likable people ever. Some of the best, most unique music ever that makes people feel things they're not sure if they should, but at the same time is so personable and a complete gentleman. One of the best interviews I've watched.
I love that Will tells everyone that he was influenced a lot by Dickie Allen, its very obvious but if you don't know who IA is then you'd never know. A lot of artists like to pretend they were the pioneer but its nice to see he respects everyone in the space. Hopefully Dickie Allen is next guest.
Got to the part where Will was talking about losing someone during covid and honestly when he said he just avoided being alone to cope I felt it. Lost my brother last November to suicide caused by depression brought on by lockdown and honestly I got through that by people not letting me ever be alone. Then I went and read all the lyrics for To The Hellfire and instantly realized why I was drawn to the song (not just the amazing breakdown). Amazing interview
Check out Orbit culture song called rebirth. Helped me stay alive after realizing how I do relate to the lyrics about depression and self harm.its a heavy tune but very powerful. Glad you made it through dude!
That’s why a lot of people were so against the lockdowns. A lot of mental health professionals knew that it was going to be an issue but they weren’t given a platform and the number of suicides was heavily underreported.

@@TheCharismaticVoice Can you please please please check To The Hellfire's one take vocal performance by Will? He published it like 10 days ago, and it is just mind-blowing.
The song Will Ramos talks about at 31:00 is "Ridi Pagliaccio" from the aria "Vesti la giubba" by Ruggero Leoncavallo, Pavarotti has a beautiful rendition of it. It's also sang in the chorus of "A Metaphor for the Dead", the last song on Vanitas by Anaal Nathrakh, Dave Hunt also sings it beautifully, It's an amazing and powerful song if you ever get around to it it'd be nice to see your breakdown of it! Will seems like a guy I’d love to sit down and have a few beers with. Great interview
10000%. Lol I was listening to some Lorna and my daughter (5 years old) came in and heard it, and she was jamming / headbanging. And I laughed and then she got super interested. Showed her little snippets of this interview and told her "hes just a nice guy, normal guy, with a super cool, maybe even scary voice that he sings with, but hes not scary or mean" and she was so much more drawn to it. Her mom hates me for it 🤣.
Will’s such a good dude. It’s so cool to see these two worlds mix, and even cooler that she understands & respects his talent. I really appreciate this channel.
There's a lot of people in the Metal community that should learn from Will. Broaden your horizons, listen to different types of music to appreciate different techniques, not everything has to be heavy, opera is not the enemy, pop is not the enemy. You can't get through life thinking you are above everyone else because of your musical taste, when you learn to have an appreciation for other things it can work wonders for building relationships with people. Look at how well these two people with different walks of life have meshed together because they have a mural respect for each others craft.
Most metalheads that I know of are really open minded to music. Metal in itself is such an odd genre. You have to be open minded to listen to smegal heading a metal band
@@shona5512 It definitely is the case even if you listen to this guy talk he talks about not even listening to metal even though he plays in a metal band. And actually how a lot of metal musicians are too. I listen to freaking metal but I will also listen to like Japanese future bass. Metal and classical go hand in hand and that's also one thing that a lot of metal heads will acknowledge you'll find that a lot of metal heads are classically trained especially if they're a guitarist
@@L2Stream I'm not talking about those. Most metal musicians are some of the most open minded people with a wide range in musical abilities. I'm talking purely about the metal fanbase, who don't play the music but listen to the music exclusively. While you will have a minority of people who will listen to anything and everything and respect other genres, you also have a huge amount of elitists that will only listen to metal subgenres and say everything else sucks. You don't have to venture far to find those people. Those are the people I'm referring to when I say that they could learn from Will.
As a metalhead, I would mostly agree with you.. But i would also point out that closed mindedness and elitists exist in all forms of music. As someone who resides in a part of the United States where country music is very popular, I'm told on a regular basis from some of these fans that "Metal is just noise" , "Metal isn't real music" or "Metal is just for angry people". Just some food for thought :)
She went from sweet, innocent and giddy to dirty old man the moment she mentioned putting a camera down his throat. Something about how she just dead pan propositions this man then adds "and I will be there... watching" just sums up her growing love for metal.

This was a fantastic interview and as a fellow Puerto Rican, it's awesome to have us represented in the genre. With regard to Will's love of In Flames, it'd be cool to see a vocal review of "Clayman" or something along those lines.

I see you even got Will into the "thumbnail face" spirit. Also, did he just agree to have a camera stuck down his throat? That's not just charisma, that's Will-power! It is hard to reconcile this polite, fun, laid-back young man with the inhuman voice rampaging through Lorne Shore's apocalyptic compositions. This looks awesome, can't wait!
Mayyyybeeee?
@@TheCharismaticVoice He seems an adventurous enough fellow, and I'm convinced you would be a difficult person to say no to. Here's hoping Will gives us the first ever demonic throat cam (another milestone for the channel). I am glad it's Will; I think Alex Terrible would actually try to eat the camera (in Soviet Russia, picture take you!)
See the live chat record for deets ;)
waka waka waka
Phil Bozeman from Whitechapel is the same way. Little guy, super nice dude, but his voice is a direct phone line to hell when he sings. Its amazing
I'm gonna just say it: probably the most adorable person in Deathcore lol.
I have been on YT for over 13 years now and this is the moment I have been waiting for. An opera singer is interviewing the best deathcore singer - this is the best stuff that could ever happen on this! Seeing you and Will having such a good time together is the reason that I didn't lost my faith in humanity. Will is the GOAT!
Is Will a guy ???
Now she’s just got to interview Alex Terrible haha
This man is too precious we must protect him at all costs
I love Will Ramos, he’s so wholesome! I didn’t know I needed to see a death core vocalist geeking out over tea and jam!
He is just cool and fun. Like him.
So glad Will is taking interviews, just proves he's gonna make a great frontman for lorna shore.
These two have incredible chemistry. This feels like watching a first date. It’s kinda precious.
Ikr this friendship I'm all for it!!
I WAS THINKING THE SAME THING
The vibes are immaculate
HAHA I WAS THINKING THE SAME!!! Thinking they would be great together 😂 ❤️
That's exactly what came to mind when I started watching this. Almost felt like they were flirting in some way, but just awesome chemistry overall.
100% here for this. They seem like such familiar souls
I love this woman. Absolute joy just bubbles out of her. You can tell she does not take life for granted. Good on you!
This must be one of the most adorable interviews i've seen. He's such a warm person, you can't deny the spanish blood and the kindness that flows within.
You looked so happy and excited throughout the whole conversation, it's great how good and fast you got along. It looks like the beginning of a nice friendship.
He honestly reminds me of my friend who's 100% puerto rican and it's that same warmth and kindness that just feels so great
Okay but you do know Puerto Ricans are not an never have been Spaniards
@@mikebarnes7441 Then why does the ancestry of most Puerto Ricans trace back to Spain
One of the best interviews I've watched.
totally agree. it was hilarious when he told about his tea parties
"unique". Ehem, literally copied everything dickie Allen does😄
@@matin2825 who cares
Dude boricua's in the house 🇵🇷 now we have one of the best death metal voice in the world, I'm so proud of that 💪
Right! Im very proud
As a chef and lover of lorna shore and Will Ramos, the jam conversation is highly underrated.
Does dickie pioneered that weird pig noise just like in to the hellfire.
@@ihatedrugs2246 100%
Dickie is the man. Totally solid dude, voice like a fucking apocalypse.
@@ihatedrugs2246 If anyone's curious/doesn't know, the specific song is Unholy Gravebirth. Super sick track.
Dickie was inspired by Travis Ryan of Cattle Decapitation. Pig squeals have been around for a long long time.
Sorry to hear about your brother, man. Hope you’re healing.
That’s why a lot of people were so against the lockdowns. A lot of mental health professionals knew that it was going to be an issue but they weren’t given a platform and the number of suicides was heavily underreported.
@@quantumenigma1869 Orbit Culture is an amazing band.
Love the chemistry between these two! A truly brilliant, engaging interview.
Will has some great people skills. I’m going to go back and take notes on when he opened the tea. Masterclass.
Side note. The way Elizabeth said infant annihilator was adorable. Like the worst two words together and she made it cute. Lol
Ahahah
rofl
When did she say it ?
Haha. A lot of people seem overly offended at the name, but weren't we all little annihilators in the beginning? 😉
@@woody8577 IA is where I kinda draw the line. Not their name but their lyrical content. It just creeps me out. (I know I know its meant to be shocking, but still)
The friendship between Will and Elizabeth is the positivity this world needs right now
You should win awards for your thumbnails. They never fail to make me smile
Aww thank you! Or thank Kirk!
@@TheCharismaticVoice Can you please please please check To The Hellfire's one take vocal performance by Will? He published it like 10 days ago, and it is just mind-blowing.
@@blahbhaha They mention it in the video, I think they must have watched it.
Thanks for this interview Will and Elizabeth it was amazing :D
I was looking in the comments hoping someone knew the answer. I only know this song from the movie "The Untouchables". Thank you
If you want a good example of whistle fry vocals listen to Dir en Grey. Rotting Root is a great example because Kyo actually goes from a clean vocal and distorts into a whistle fry and it sounds incredible
So stoked for this. Any plans to also take a look at his one take performance of "To the hellfire"?
Yes, would love this!
1:13:45 She has already watched it. There'll be no reaction to it
@@shona5512 She may have filmed it and didn't want to give that away yet, since she didn't say too much about it. Just a possibility
Man. He is so humble. That is so awesome. He knows he's amazing and yet still so humble and approachable. You go Will 😁👍
Its pretty great to see you 2 spark up what seems like a great friendship, especially considering you both represent 2 very different music genres. Refreshing to see TCV recognize this is not just screaming, and likewise to see Will is just an all around cool dude. Love this video.
I love how a deathcore vocalist talks with passion about tea and jam, made my day
They are SO CUTE complimenting each other! I think we're seeing the beginning of a beautiful friendship here!
I was just thinking this lol like damn these two got some chemistry
Will seems like such a cool guy. Always funny how the vocalists with the most brutal vocals are always super chill and down to Earth.
That's true. Take corpse grinder from cannibal corpse. Might be the most famous extrem metal vocalist alive and active and he is such a humble and down to earth family dude.
This is what I love about metal. You see guys and gals in these very heavy bands screaming their faces off and those that are not in the know probably assume they are angry or “evil” then you see them in interviews like this and they are just chill down to earth people.
It always blows my mind just how friendly and cool Will is, what a stand up dude
Death metal is just music. We all are just regular people but with different taste.
Is Will a guy???
@@jamesfortner6106 I'm a metal head too for 14yrs... And i believe in God 🙂🙂
@@L2Stream Take one look on the internet in the comment section of any metal song ever and you'll see that it is not the case.
Good to see being a star hasn’t gone to his head. That’s what captivates me most about him, besides his obvious fantastic vocals. Such a great interview and I watched the entire thing.
I don't think I've ever seen an interview with Will this long before. They're usually 30 minutes, maybe, so I'm glad this one was so long.
Damn - you literally got me Elizabeth. You sending the tea just hit the heart strings. I’m a middle aged metalhead and you choked me up. You are a wonderful person! So very glad I discovered you! Much respect and love from Canada 🇨🇦
I don't comment that much, but I never had to smile for 2 hours straight! This is the most sympathic interview ever, you guys are awesome together!
He sings like Satan himself, but he organises tea parties. That made me laugh so much. I really hope this interview would happen and i knew it would be great, but it totally blew my expectations. These two had such a good time, just as we did watching it
These two hit it off perfectly. Both very kind people. I absolutely LOVE Elizabeth’s expressions. Such a beautiful soul.
Gotta appreciate how down to earth this kid is. Love it!!! Your an old soul Will….
The dude's almost 30 years old. I can see why you'd think he's still a kid though. Dude looks like a teenager.
The amount of times I hear Elizabeth say she wants to put a camera down someone throat, I'm so happy Will is so game 🤣

The chemistry between you two is electric. Great interview!
Hearing Elizabeth say "Infant Annihilator" is s0o0 odd and funny
I was more or less coming down here to say the same thing
This is by far the best interview I’ve seen. It feels more like two friends just having a conversation rather than an interview. The energy and the vibes are just immaculate.
This was a fantastic interview and as a fellow Puerto Rican, it's awesome to have us represented in the genre. With regard to Will's love of In Flames, it'd be cool to see a vocal review of "Clayman" or something along those lines.
I love Will even more for being a huge In Flames fan!
Another fellow Puerto Rican here! I heard Lorna Shore for the first time today thanks to Elizabeth's reactions, and while it's definitely not my cup of tea, I was impressed by Will's nazgul-like screams. Imagine my surprise when one of the first things he mentioned was that he's Puerto Rican as well.
Please review the original recording or an early concert vid! The recent re recording is horrible!
Will and Elizabeth are both so freaking cute and pure and goofy. I love them. 😭
Bro. Will is so DAMN CUTE. You can’t deny it.
Yes....he is
Yeah
Can deny
I have no words 😍 also Will is a phenomenal vocalist
@Vadim Abbescu holy shit lmao
A pretty man, for sure
This interview is thoroughly enjoyable…the seemingly natural and interested engagement between you and Will makes it infinitely more interesting to watch. I’ve seen a couple of interviews Will has done and find myself surprised at how personable he actually is. I wasn’t expecting to watch the whole interview, but the back and forth was supremely engaging.
Outstanding work, Elizabeth. Great interview!
This interview is so f*cking awesome!! I am not a Black Metal guy, I've just been exploring it for like a week or so. Honestly I thought a lot of it was funny because it's so over the top. But then I saw this lovely vocal coach watching this video by Lorna Shore who I had never heard of and O M G!! That was one of the craziest, scariest, most darkly beautiful and powerful songs I have ever heard. And this guy's voice is absolutely bonkers!
And then I saw this video and honestly I was like "Hmm the vocal coach is talking to her pretty friend about the band and THEN I realized the pretty girl is a pretty boy ITS FREAKING WILL RAMOS WHO SOUNDS LIKE HE IS CHANNELING LOVECRAFTIAN ELDER GODS!!!!
I am freaking out because he's like the nicest guy in the world and I ain't gonna lie you two are VIBING!!
Thank you Miss Charismatic voice I am subscribing foh sho!!
I really REALLY hope we get to see that camera view of his vocals when you guys do that
That's the plan!
This was one of the best guests ever!!! The look on your face when he started talking about straw warm ups was PRICELESS!!!....LOL. So great to see how down to earth regular people so many of these singersd are that are all so larger than life behind the mic!! Awesome interview!! Awesome channel!!!
Yo, it's 2023 and I am absolutely loving these videos with Will and Elizabeth. The most wholesome friendship. I'm here for all of it xx
I'm a straight guy and I can't decide who I'm more attracted to between Will and Elizabeth. All jokes aside this was an amazing watch. Will is such a class act and the fact that an opera singer and one of the best extreme metal vocalists can sit down and have such an enlightening conversation about music was really cool to watch!
“I’m a straight guy but”
Hey I’ve got news for you
Yeah when you start off a comment by saying "I'm a straight guy, but..." You might not be that straight.
These 2 have great chemistry. I'd love to see future collabs, like reaction videos together.
The more i listen to Into The Hellfire, the more i think a female opera accompanyment would sound awesome in some parts. The "Azrael" line for example
When I started to listen to metal music when I was 13 ( born in 84) I was praying that one day metal would reach that level, Will you have all my respect.
That's so crazy, I've had Lorna Shore's latest EP on repeat for two days because I just discovered these songs (they blew my mind a little bit), and I was just looking for interviews, and this pops up :D thank youuuuuuu
Okay you got me. I’m excited for this one!
This was one of the best chats I've had so far on this channel. Will was just SO MUCH FUN!
This is honestly the most wholesome video I’ve ever seen. Just two amazingly enthusiastic vocalists getting to connect and nerd out over different styles and techniques. Amazing interview and even better chemistry!
I had no idea I needed this. BUT I DID. I love this. The chemistry in this conversation is immaculate.
When he said "i feel a false chord and i guess a fry together to make a false chord fry" i was like THANK YOU!!!! I was trying to explain this to someone the other day and they said it was impossible for me to feel both. I knew i wasnt crazy. Will, you the man!!
I like the fact he wants to make lyrics easy for fans to understand as; I appreciate all the screaming but also like being able to understand the lyrics being sung.
Do the Hellfire onetake....and se how effortless he does his magic
He is so personable and such a good conversationalist! I’ve seen other metal vocalist interviews that are drier than the Sahara. This makes me love Lorna Shore and Will Ramos even more than I already did! ❤️
He is such a nice guy!! And he soo goodlooking.
Can you imagine if Elizabeth coached Will or even collaborated together!? Those two need to compose a song. Hands down.
It could be like an eptica spinoff band
Yes! I wanna see Will's vocal chords in action! Will is just so cool and laid back, your best interview since Tatiana. Thank You!
I love watching this friendship! I watched the camera video and then went back to watch your reactions to LS songs and just seeing it progress to you guys finally meeting in person is just so cute
I love how Will's personality and music are just polar opposites. Very cool, down to Earth relatable dude.
I love this kind of interviews where 2 people know about what they are talking about and get bot exited about the things they are talking about, it feels so genuine and way more enjoyable.
This is one of the best videos on the internet. The whole thing was so wholesome and fun. I could watch these two talk for hours. I came a Will Ramos fan and left a fan of Elizabeth as well.
Honestly, Will is so relatable as a person and it warms my heart to see. I'm loving this guy and I'm super happy for him and the rest of the band for everything they've accomplished so far and I'm super stoked to see what's in store for the future.
Not one dislike on the video or any of the comments. The lack of toxicity is a breath of fresh air. That moment when you know everyone who’s watched just wants to be here.
