Thank you! Getting that kayak changed my life in several ways, and it helped me figure out who I am! I was kind of lost before it, and I’m so thankful that I took that risk. 🧜♀️💪🏼🎣
Thank you! Yeah especially the sheepshead. Pretty sure it’s my favorite inshore fish to eat. There’s been some donkey sized ones around the pier… stay tuned 😉
Jesus Lord that was a close call with the fillet knife. I bet the sheepshead tasted awesome We did Mahi and green tails over the weekend. Hopefully the wind will die down a little, seems like it's been blowing a gale recently
Oh man I love Mahi! Hoping to get offshore soon. Yes it was a close call with the filet knife. Funny thing is, during the editing of this video, I chopped the tip of my thumb off with a butcher knife while chopping carrots. And I’m not exaggerating. Thought about posting a pic on IG but it was too graphic. Still went on the pier the next morning, and ended up catching my PB sheep. Will edit and post that in a few days. Thumb is still pretty messed up but I’m not going to let it stop me 👍🏼🤪
Glad to see you doing more fishing. Didn't look like you lost your touch girl. The way you cooked your fish is delicious, I do it that way also. Hope to see you again. Steve
Another day of good day of fishing, catch and cook which alway make me hungry. Although I was quite nervous watching you fillet the fish cutting too close!
Thank you so much for all the love! Topsail sure is an amazing place! I’m so thankful that I ended up here, and discovered my love for fishing. I’m glad you enjoyed the video, I have much more to come! 🧜♀️🎣
Thanks so much!! Much more to come this year. Heading to the pier this morning to try to snag one of the citation Sheepshead I’ve seen swimming around 🤞🏼
Seepsters are kind of tough to filet, skin and remove bones, good job! Gotta love a woman who says it's a "little bit of garlic" in the proportions you use. Fresh garlic, EVO and lemon juice cooks up most of the things I catch in the rivers, lakes or sea. Gotta make a pasta to pour it on when you are ready to serve. Buon aopitito!
Thank you! They are a little tricky! I LOVE garlic! Good thing it’s good for you 🤣 I’ll have to try with a pasta. I don’t eat gluten, so I’ll try with me lentil noodles 🍜
Your awesome love the content love the southern voice.. and learning a lot about fishing the way u do. Never knew what a sheep’s head was😂 only fresh water fished myself. Looks like fun 👍🏻
Thank you Randy! I’m glad you enjoyed it. Sheepshead are a weird but awesome fish! I remember seeing them for the first time off of the pier, when the water is calm and clear, you can see them feeding on the pilings. And I HAD to learn how to target them. It took me about a season to figure it out, especially off of the pier where there’s so much line between you and your rig/bait. They eat all the mollusks and crustaceans on and around the pilings. Next time I catch one, I’ll be sure to show the teeth, they are pretty creepy 😬 More coming soon!
I see more sunrises there than sunsets, due to my fishing time preferences, and they can be even more spectacular. I’m so blessed to live less than 10 minutes from paradise 🌅🙏
Erin Great video Lady! Yummy Sheepsheads! You did well. I have the same YakAttack setup for my Garmin depth finder on my Old Town Sportsman 106. I have the transponder arm they make mounted to it. It's awesome because it's all self contained without having to mount the transponder under the boat. There's a lot of rocks here in CT and I smashed a couple. Now I just swing it down when I want and it's out of harms way. I love it! I love your super chill relaxing channel. Just stress free fishing in a perfect kayak! What more can you want? Fish on Erin! 🐟🐟🐟🐟👍👍🌹
Hello again!! Thank you! I was a bit worried about mounting my transducer under the kayak, but it’s a bit recessed in the spot that’s dedicated for it under the sportsman. I’m glad you find my content chill and relaxing. That’s what I’m hoping for. More coming soon!
😎 I’m so used to wearing those big glasses and visor now, that I feel blinded without them. They are an important part of successful fishing. Cut through all the glare, see better/deeper in the water.
I love the vídeo Aaron, nice fish catch and it seems very delicious the food on the final. Already subscribe your channel Aaron you deserve it. Keep going the lovely work. Cheers from RecordaçõesdePesca channel. 🎣🐟🇵🇹🇺🇸💯👍
Nice catch & cook EVERYTHING looked yummy. Got to get ya a cut glove. Most outdoor suppliers have them. Steel mesh with a nylon? covering. I put a large nitrile glove over mine. If not, just clip it in the dishwasher. Good to go.
🤣🤣 I’ve had many people concerned about my hands. I’ll work on being safer. I’ve used a glove before but most are made for man hands and I’ve felt like it’s harder to handle the fish
Thank you! I do have an anchor, but I’ve tried that before there, got it hooked on some kind of structure at the bottom, and lost the anchor. The best way to do it is with a trolling motor with spot lock. Until then, it’s all in the legs 🤣🦵
Nice sheepster. I kayak fish there too and hope to get there this summer. I launched at the park, went under the bridge and fished the flats behind Beauchaines 211. Had to cut and paste the name... I'd never spell it right hahahahaha
🤣 I know that spot well! You have to hit it on the right tide, for sure. I’m going to try docks at south topsail tomorrow. Usually is a good spot for sheeps this time of year. I’ve just been waiting for the winds and my schedule to cooperate
Hey, love the videos, we fish the same places you frequent. We are here now, brought the kayaks and we're going to put in at the kayak launch at soundside Park. Do you know why they have already blocked it off? Anywho keep on posting.!!!!!thank you
Dang nice catch! I talked to you the other day at the bait hole I was heading out in my hobie. I'm hoping to hit Wrightsville this week one evening to try and catch a few sheep I never leave topsail but I'm going to just go try something different for a change and give my home range a break and let the reds have a day off lol
The sheeps head bite was on fire, great job multitasking with current, fighting the fish and the bridge pilings. Quick question, i know you have put your pdl drive through its paces, have you had to do any maintenance or have anything break on it? Just picked me up a new salty 120 pdl and was wondering how reliable the pdl drive was. I've had a native propel drive and so far liking old towns pdl better.
On Sheephead,Black drum and Red bass if you look on top from the head to the tail. There is a place next to the fin. This will look like the skin and scales are cut. Run you knife right down that slot you won't have a hard time. It's not like cutting through hard scales. Once find that spot you'll understand. I hope it helps. Good luck
I love Sheepshead too! They are some of the finest eating fish in the sea! After we are married and you have my baby we can enjoy some together! I'm thinking about a very long honeymoon first. Will that be ok? 😀😀😀😀😀
It is not free, but cought buy you MY Fishing Queen, that is so cool I would love too fish with you, any time. Much love an have a freaking great day Tomarrow, 009

Ever accidentally walked by a woman changing in her panties and bra and she quickly goes to cover herself up but when they go to the beach it's all good baby love it🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Haven't seen ya fishing in a while. Glad to see ya back at catch, clean, and cook!!!
I had a complicated spring, but I’m back at it, full force 💪
@@finsandfossils ❤❤Good to hear it and see you fishing again!!! Prayers and hopes you overcame challenges! Fish on!! We will support you as we can!!!
So nice to see a young lady fishing out on a kayak.

Glad to see you back on the water again take care ❤
Thanks Scott! I’ll be getting out a lot more- exciting news coming soon!
Wow I need a woman like her in my life. Awesome trip thanks for sharing.
Thank you! I think if more women tried fishing, they’d be hooked. I’m hoping to inspire more to try!
Nothing like catching your own fish to eat! Thanks for sharing, we get awesome sunsets where I live, west coast U.k. here by the Irish sea.
Great job !!!! Hard to beat a fresh fish meal!!!!
Thank you! Yeah especially the sheepshead. Pretty sure it’s my favorite inshore fish to eat. There’s been some donkey sized ones around the pier… stay tuned 😉

@@ScottKennethBryant does a Blackstone grill count? 🤣
