Brought mine over 4 months ago and love it. A big plus for me is the buttons and knobs for the heating and radio. Don’t like the adjustments being in the touch screen which would be more tricky to adjust while driving.
This car has grown on me a lot. It’s a nice all round package. I really do like the blue, and the interior seems nice. I would love to see a vxr variant come out
Bought one three months ago.1.2 petrol auto elite nav in the same blue as your review, also with pan roof.So far am loving it,auto is smooth and plenty of power. My only criticism is that it is a little thirsty.
Yes, for some reason unless cars have some if hybrid system, they all seem to have got a little thirsty. Nicely spec’d enjoyable car though, thank you Alasdair
My parents bought this car (with the 1.6 T 180 8-auto) and it's really nice. But with the 19" wheels and 235/50 R19 99 V SportContact 5 SUV tires (not available anymore), the car is a bit harsh over small bumps and noisy at speed. That say, lowering the light load tyre pressure to 180kpa (26PSI) front and 160kpa (23PSI) rear instead of the recommended 220kpa (32PSI) improved the ride quality, noise levels and surprisingly also handling by a lot! Just don't drive over 160kph (100mph) with those pressures, not really an issue in the real world. The ride still feels firm, but the vibration, potholes and speed bump are really well damped. The car feels really good at speed on the highway, it was set up for the autobahn, and while I would have preferred an overall softer ride, for a family car that's mainly used on longer journey, it is a really nice place to be. I can confirm that the headlights are amazing (after being properly aimed, the factory didn't to a good job at it), the ventilated seats are a must, the car is super quiet and handles extremely well, it's really spacious for it's size (I only tested the rear seat once, but it was on a longer trip and I was comfortable at 184cm/6"1 seating behind my dad at 187cm/6"2). The 360 camera are a rip off, but other than that, a really great choice at a good price. Much better than a Qashqai (my parents had one before).
Sounds like you’ve found a solution, but please be aware that at lower psi, the tyre walls can flex and disintegrate. It may be worth investing in differentwheels and a higher profile tyre, as your safety is of paramount importance! Glad you liked the review, and that you found it helpful 😎Also, thank you for all of your feedback - it’s really useful for us.
@@PlanetautoUK totally agree, as a general rule never deviates from manufacturer specs. But I know what I'm doing, did the maths, took a 20% safety margin and test drove the car. I just wish Opel/Vauxhall followed some other manufacturers in giving not only the top speed/fuel efficiency tyre pressure but also the "comfort" lower speed one, like Jaguar for exemple: www.jaguarforums.com/forum/attachments/xj-xj6-xjr6-x300-26/9111d1301518913-tyre-pressure-maximum-comfort-tyre.jpg Different tyres can also improve the ride. From I've read the Michelin Pilot Sport 4 SUV seems to offer a much smoother and quieter ride in this size.
Planetauto I’ve a grocery shop so I think grandland would be better for more space. I’m not sure about Vauxhall’s reliability as I think Nissans better than Vauxhall but I’m getting a cheap deal for a grandland x...what do u say should I go for Vauxhall?
The thing about the latest Peugeot’s is that they are very good - some serious redesign has been happening. Now that Vauxhall is part of the PSA Group, it will be exciting to see how this shows in time. *Annabelle
We have just bought this car and only till I seen the number plate i realised it was our car in the video
This was a great press vehicle, here’s to it enjoying life in its new home *ben

A lot of people do prefer adjustment knobs! Glad to hear you are loving it 👍
Very nice review, I’m tempted.
Thank you, it’s amazing how many cars and vans we drive that tempt us.

Slim chance of a vxx Peugeot have vaxhall now and vxr has since been axed
Matty's Cars that’s a big shame Matt. :(
VXR will likely come back with PSA however it maybe full ev and be based on the 208 to start with *ben

Hi @alasdairwilson4806 how is it now
i agree ,its a nice car all round , i own one and i love it. but it appears others in the the industry really don,t like it.
Yes, it’s strange the consensus we prefer this to the Crossland Graham, thank you
Ooh I don’t know I think it will be popular with the oldies
Matty's Cars interesting, why do you think that? *ben
Planet Auto Many Vauxhalls past and present have been a hit with old people
It impressed us, thank you *ben

dufonrafal that’s good to know, it’s amazing the threshold you can push parts on a private road, thank you for the chat.
@@PlanetautoUK you're welcome!
Just don't push the limit on a public road, personally, I'm a chill driver :)
Torn between this car or the skoda kamiq or karoq...
Which have you driven Advocate?
@@PlanetautoUK haven't driven any of these. Have the mokka at the minute but wanting to change to something else
How's the search gone, @LivingOnaPrayer123?
@PlanetautoUK thinking going to go for the Karoq although haven't even viewed either of them yet to be honest. Life has been hectic!.😆🤦♀️
I’m ready to buy my first suv but in a dilemma with Nissan qashqai and grandland x
Hmm have you watched both reviews? Which do you prefer, and is space a key essential?

The Grandland X suits your needs closer, and bear in mind bits of it are PSA too 😊
Planetauto the car being a psa, is that a good thing or bad thing?
Good, just look at the tech, build quality etc of the 508, 3008 etc
What variant is this ?
As in gen, trim or fuel? Thank you Bogdan
how does having bigger wheels make the ride harder?
It’s the combo of big wheels and low profiles, 14”s with low profiles is a smoother ride than say 20s with 35’s
@@PlanetautoUK right so its really the tyres
No, google ‘do bigger wheels make a harder ride’
You should have shown in interiour size with the taller guy included
I sat in the rear and it was ample, thank you
This car or seat ateca ?
Depends on your preference, the model we drove vs the Ateca FR, FR however would love to drive a Sport variant of this. *ben
I've just got the car
How do you find it Loan Martin?
No the car not the car u are reviewing its black
My car is black but ur is blue
The car model is the same I mean grandland
The licence plate different
Price plz ??
This model or another trim?
Steering wheel, entertainment system is boring comparing to my 3008
