really loved this. I have been spending about $300 every 5-6 months for partial balayage once it grows out and its too expensive. This is a much better alternative and I will be requesting this service for my next visit. Thank you for sharing. The end results look so beautiful.
Beautiful! I love when you show the whole process all the way to styling the hair. Looks so natural. BTW, forgot to mention your fur baby is too cute! 🐶🐾💗
Soo pretty 💗👌 I think as stylists it is our job to maintain the integrity of the hair and inform our clients on the different options of services they can request. When I was 14 I kept going to my stylist and each time I would request all over hilites 🤭I didn't know any better and she would just do what i asked 💀 So as you can imagine my hair ended up fried and severely damaged!!! Maybe my stylist didn't know better either I really don't know 🤣 But perhaps us both being more informed we could have prevented all that damage!!!
Why not use 10 vol? The 20 would lift her natural more than necessary and create/expose more warmth due to underlying pigment. Level 4 is her natural level so lift is not necessary, unless she wants grey coverage. Her results were beautiful! Nice job❤️
I love this! I have this same situation of grown out highlights that I just want to colour melt into my natural darker root, but with the highlights not being done great the top is really brassy so I am wondering if doing a permanent level 8 would help that instead of toning, and then doing the root melt. I am looking for low maintenance hair lol 😆
Here I am, almost 2 years later, wondering if the root tone was left on and the blonde tone done right over the top. Scanning the comments, I see that others asked as well. No answer?!! It appears to be the case, but who wants to risk it? Alright. I'll have to move on to a video that explains it better; no one wants to take a chance on their hair.
Her blonde color in the beginning of the video is that the same toner u used in the video?!?!? And how long did u leave the toner on?!?!?!? I hate the orange copper color also ❤️❤️
Hi Ashley, loved the before and after ❤️ Looks absolutely stunning. 😍 I was curious if you know a good formula for charcoal color, but only for matrix line Thanks in advance ❤️
Gorgeous! I know we shouldn't do our own but I have no other options. I have very similar hair color to this client but with gray coming in throughout and I can't stand the gray I colored my roots, and they look fine as far as blending, but it's a shade darker than I want. Can I go back over it? Do I have to lift more of that dark color? Wish I was ready fir gray but I'm NOT! 😊
Absolutely beautiful as usual with your work. You put the toner on the entire head even with you doing a root smudge that’s a darker shade? Or did you only put the toner in the ends? Did you rinse the root smudge before applying the toner?
@@ashleyalopez but with higher developer the less deposit the more lift. With a Demi permanent color it would lift anyways. It’s just unnecessary. It won’t make it last longer
Can you do a root melt between re highlight sesh? I wish I saw this video before I went to get highlights on my virgin hair. My hair was like this clients and it lighted Orange and the hairstylist didn’t use the right toner to make it ask it just got warmer. Had to go back a few days later after I washed it to get it retoned and still some pieces were on the yellow side. Arrr…that toner formula would be perfect for my hair type.
Hi love your channel!! I highlighted and balayaged a client and she processed way fast so I had to stop and spray out some of the foils to avoid damaging the hair. Even with spraying and wiping out the lightener the bleached strands still managed to lighten the natural hair color we didn’t want lightened creating an orangey look on those strands we didn’t want lifted. What to you suggest I do? Highlight the hair again to lift those more or would a toner help? HELP!
Hi Ashley :) , by the way I love your videos . ❤️ I would like to know why did you tell that green cancel red if you use 4A ( blue) and blue cancel orange ? It is a mistake ?
@@ashleyalopez and this effect is beautiful I have balayage but because my hairdresser did not know how to do it I was left with three red white blonde colors so I at home i put a toner and now my hair has turned gray how can i fix it? I'm desperate can you give me some advice thanks

Love your techniques! Used one today and loved the results.
Amazing 🙌🏼🤩 I love a Good Ashy brown color,
Great video!
Hi do you apply the toner after washing out the root color and how long do you leave it on ?
Great work! Beautifully done. I have a question... Did you leave the base color (4A) on for the full processing time?

But she using 4A

Exactly
Maybe she needs it for gray coverage
This is how I wanted my hair 😢 Her hair is beautiful ❤

ashley. when u comb the root melt color. does it not stain the blond? im so scared to comb it through
Beautiful, it get my attention you used 20 vol. with color Sync. Demi. Any reason? Thanks 😊
Can you explain why you used 20 volumes with color sync
Good question! I use 10 for demi. Maybe she wanted to open the cuticle a little 🤔
Won’t it give a green hint when you go over the blonde highlights? Bc of the ash base?
Color sync is only to be used with 10 vol Can you explain why you have not used 10
Did you wash out the root smudge before doing the toner?
Hi just wondering. If you washed out the root colour before you applied the toner ?
Also I always recommend measuring developer when doing color
Beautiful stunning color , what is best used for shades eq 7na please student here used alone or w clear

Did you rinse the roots before toning?
Did you rinse the 4ash before you apply the toner 🙏🏻🙏🏻✂️✂️🇲🇽🇲🇽💯💯🙏🏻🙏🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸

Cara o resultado ficou fantástico , será que funciona pra ruivos ?
Quick question! How long did you leave the 4a with 20vol depositing?

(I love your color! That's the highlight color I love on my hair- I need ash bc I also pull orange)
Loved the video
Did you apply the toner while the root smudge was processing?
How do you correct very defined harsh lines? Thanks.
Hi. What did you use for the root since she wanted her hair to grow out and not be so high.
Did you wash out the root melt before you applied the toner?

Thanks for posting your fomulas. Beautiful results
Hermoso! Pero dónde hacen este tipo de trabajos? A mi me hacen siempre un mugrero. I live in San Diego, please recomend me a salon.

Why use 20 volume instead of 10 if you’re just depositing?
Just curious :)
Within time I don’t want it to fade. If I was just depositing it would be almost like a toner fading within 3 to 4 weeks.

What styling products did you put in her hair to get that texture in her curls at the very end?
I love how it came out! How do you keep down the frizz?
what curler are you using and what width?? love this! #reply
What kind of comb is that? When you were dragging the melt!
Why did you choose a 20vol for a root melt?
I wish you could do my hair they always wreck it in England.
So is the 4A a toner or permanent haircolor?

She’s wanting to slowly go more blonde anyway so I don’t want to put in a lowlight
Hi Ashley, do you do your color melt with permanent color or a demi?
Colorsynce is a Demi.
What brand if curling iron is that?
How do I do root melt with balayage
omg its the Chrisley's in the background forrr me LOL
Hi Ashley :) , by the way I love your videos . ❤️ I would like to know why did you tell that green cancel red if you use 4A ( blue) and blue cancel orange ? It is a mistake ?

Ash is green base
@@lisacurbelo9079 no sorry ash is prodominatly blue with a hint of green :)
Why did you use 20 vol with ColorSync? I’m so confused
Why did you use 20 vol instead of 10 vol?
Hello ! I have a question I have box die black hair I wanna lighten my hair would u recommend I do a bleach wash to lift it a bit?
Hi what's her hair color?
I like long roots dragged down
HELLO BEAUTY!!

Loved it only thing I would of done is retouched up the money pieces to have a more expensive look but amazing job
I agree but my client didn’t want it
All that and she didn't want it I would of lightly feathered it in I haven't had nobody tell me naw that's crazy wow her loss

Why 20vol with sync
Do you know if this is Demi or semi? Or permanent for root melt?
Color sync is 10 vol use, also if she doesn't want warmth 20 vol will always give warmth.
It was brighter before tho 😅
I don't understand why use >>>20 vol for root part 4A? ...wouldn't 10 be better for hair and do the same? Please explain so i understand better
Hermoso saludos desde argentina .
I can’t see the difference :/ her hair really didn’t need doing
Me making a mistake on my own hair is FREE aside from paying for the color or toner. A professional making a mistake is a lot more pricey.
$300 down the drain and here I am on UA-cam trying to fix it😒
Why bother having a UA-cam channel if you cbf replying to viewers????
Lol
Please wear gloves!!
