- Today's furniture flip almost didn't happen!!! I got sick as a dog 1 day in but pulled it together and managed to finish the little beauty! The previous owner totally attacked this poor coffee table but one mans trash is another treasure! I show you how to use IOD Paint Inlay for the first time and I learned a lot! This is a fun and attractive way to refinish this table. I've seen another creator reuse these and get an even more faded look, very vintage looking. I believe you're correct, wait longer for the paint to dry.

I believe I mentioned a while back that I didn't like transfers. However, I love these inlays and could see me trying it. The inlays seem more realistic to me rather than the transfers. The transfers have a harsh line, but this blends into the finish. I think that's what the difference is for me. Nicely done.
Ah they are so brilliant. My favorite part is that you are transferring paint rather than plastic or paper!!! So good! I think I need to try it again to really get the hang of it! But this wasn't too bad for the first attempt 😆 glad you liked it

It came out great! I was holding my breath when you were trying to line up the inlay! I think I’m too much of a perfectionist to be able to do a full piece. Maybe a pattern here and there. LOL Hope you are feeling better! 🙏🏻
I was concentrating so much on lining the top up that the side was not where I wanted it! I was fun to try thats for sure.
We have a Table JUST LIKE THAT, well, the Style anyway!!!! It was given to us by my Mother-in-Law, with Two Matching End Tables. I redid the End Tables with Chalk Paint and BEAUTIFUL Floral Transfers, and had them on Facebook Marketplace, and then in a Yard Sale, and NO ONE WOULD BUY THEM!!!! The Coffee Table has a Drawer, and doesn't have Leather on the Top. NOT CRAZY ABOUT THE STYLE, but I think I'm just gonna try and Sale the Table as is. It doesn't exactly do your Ego very good when no one is buying your stuff. And I'm sorry you've been so sick. Hope you're feeling ALOT BETTER SOON!!!!
Ah man yeah I know what you mean especially when you put a lot of effort into it! I hate repainting stuff almost as much as I hate sanding 😂 and thats saying something! I never like having to repaint. Fingers and toes crossed you sell out of inventory!!!

Picking out a name is soooo hard. I am right with you. I am going through the same process. But you have a following so it will run smoothly! I have a problem where I can’t complete one project before starting another. I seem to always run into problems. One piece I am tempted to throw in the curb.lol Get better! In 5 months I had Covid for 2, the flu and broke a rib! Time to conquer!!
Oh my word...those 5 months sounded like a lot. I'm just hoping to never get covid again let alone the flu and a broken rib!!! Refinishing pieces for YT have definitely helped me finish a piece before starting another otherwise I was like that and took forever to finish one!!

Sarah, you always inspire me! I have been ogling this product for so many months now. My stockist has such pretty patterns, they call to me every time I go in. They're quite expensive here, so I keep weighing out the cost vs return... but ooo man, I'm itching to give it a go! I love this look you created- such a good idea doing a different base colour!

Well done you. They are a bit scary the first time but when you use proper chalk paint you can leave it over night. If you use clear coat or mineral paint you don't want to go much more than 15mins 🧡🧡🧡

Nice work with the transfers. I actually thought that border after you filled and sanded it, looked cool. I thought maybe painting the bottom and that little inlay part would look nice. Maybe a future project. 😊

I have a similar coffee table I need to get skirting around their redone because apparently somebody knocked off the tips next to the legs. I also have a matching end table that has a drawer big drawer and am debating on whether I keep the top natural wood or just paint it all in one color.
Either would be lovely I'm sure! I do love this style its very French Provincial. I'd love to see what you end up deciding todo to them!

Ive done a name change in my business over the years. We do what we need to. I just did an IG change after many years to my UA-cam name as thats where Im going. Ive been wanting to try IOD and DIY paint. That leather is 'b@tchy'! haha. Came out so cool.

Oh my word Mama I had Covid and didn’t even realize it until after I gave it to my oldest 😩 had to take him to the doctor and when they said he had it we realized I gave it to him. It was the worst. Hope I never get it again!
